SHINee's Onew reports to have vocal surgery + step down from 'Singin' In The Rain' musical

Onew is currently taking a rest after the surgery. 

On June 10th, SM Entertainment revealed through various media outlets,"Onew underwent a surgery to remove vocal polyps and vocal fold mucosa reconstruction on June 3rd at a hospital in Seoul. He has been discharged and currently resting at home". 

The agency also said that it's not serious as it won't affect his daily life activities. He's also receiving outpatient treatment everyday.

Due to his recovery, Onew wasn't able to attend "Music Bank in Brazil" on June 7th. Also for "Singin' In The Rain", and official from the musical said that he canceled his appearance to in the musical when his throat started to get worse back in February. 

Meanwhile, SHINee will hold their "SHINee World Concert 3" in Jakarta on June 22nd.

Henry says he found the meaning of life through 'Real Men'

Henry revealed that going to the army was a turning point in his life.

He opened up honestly on the June 8 episode of 'Real Men', and said, "The turning point of my life was coming to the army. I was in such a big shock. When I first came here, I went on every day without really knowing anything."

He continued, "I found the meaning to my life through the army. After this show, seeing people recognize me and laugh and smile when they see me, I felt that I was able to find meaning in my life. I was able to meet other people through music and other things, but I was proud that I was able to connect with people through just myself as a person [through this show]."

SHINee's Key confirmed as a fixed member on stars & fans variety talk show 'Stargazing'

SHINee's Key has been confirmed as a fixed guest on Kang Ho Dong's new MBCvariety show 'Stargazing'!

MBC stated on the 9th, "Key has been confirmed for the talk show, 'Stargazing', through which [viewers] can hear stars' hidden stories through fans." Key is expected to be a hilarious addition to the lineup with his diva-like confidence and honest wit that we've been getting to see on 'We Got Married - Global' and more.

Due to the success of its test pilot episode that aired a while back, 'Stargazing' will now air regularly every Thursday at 11 PM KST, which is the same time slot as KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3', heating up Thursday nights with the battle between the nation's MCs Kang Ho Dong and Yoo Jae Suk in viewer ratings.

'Stargazing' will premiere on the 19th at 11:15 PM KST!

SHINee's Onew recovering after throat surgery

SHINee's Onew has been revealed to be recovering after vocal cord surgery.

SM Entertainment stated on June 10, "On the 3rd, Onew received surgery to remove vocal chord polyps and vocal fold mucosa reconstruction at a hospital in Seoul. After leaving the hospital, he is currently resting," adding, "There is no effect on his daily life, and he'll be receiving outpatient treatment."

It's also been revealed that Onew wasn't unable to join the rest of SHINee for 'Music Bank in Brazil' when they departed on the 5th or participate in the musical 'Singin' in the Rain' as planned.

Hopefully, Onew will recover soon!

Krystal shows a fresh summer look for the cover of 'CeCi Campus'

f(x)'s Krystal rocked the cover of 'CeCi CAMPUS's June issue!

SHINee's Key to become a fixed cast on MBC's 'Wishing Star'

We will get to see Key talking about fandoms and stars regularly. 

According to MBC on June 9th, Key has been chosen as a fixed cast member for MBC's variety show "Wishing Star". Fans are expecting to see how well he will work along with Kang Ho Dong and other hosts. 

Key has proven his potential as an entertainment idol with his outspoken and fearless personality through many variety shows such as "We Got Married Global Edition" and "Radio Star". With his appearance on the show, many people are expecting Key to share more of his personal and also the group experiences with their fans. 

The show will be broadcast on June 19t at 11:15pm kst.

Lee Yeon Hee confirms for movie 'Joseon Detective 2'

Lee Yeon Hee will act in new movie "Joseon Detective 2: The Laborer's Daughter". 

Following the original movie "Joseon Detective: Secret of The Virtuous Widow" which made a big success as the 4th best-selling movie of 2011, the production for its sequel has been confirmed with the cast of Lee Yeon Hee as the female lead. 

In addition, actors Kim Kyung Min and Oh Dal Su who appeared in the original movie will continue to act in this sequel as well. 

"Joseon Detective 2: The Laborer's Daughter" is expected to release next year.
