KARA reveals, “It’s difficult living as a female idol”

The members of KARA recently discussed the difficulties of living as a female idol singer.

KARA guested on the September 1st edition of KBS‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘ and went on a guerilla date through the streets of Gangnam.

Nicole began by revealing, “While preparing for the comeback for 최신 album, Gyuri unnie and I frequently expressed how difficult it is to 생활 as a female idol. It's very difficult to manage 자신을 [to maintain 좋은 image] .”

Leader Gyuri added, “Although 우리가 get envied as we are a female idol group, we're also the target of많은 criticisms which makes 우리의 position 가 매우 difficult. However, she quickly changed her mind and stated, “If I were to be born again, I want to become a male idol singer,” causing everyone to roar in laughter.

KARA reveals goals for album + which careers they’d pursue in another life on ‘Entertainment Relay’

Girl group KARA, who debuted almost six years ago, expressed that they wished to be acknowledged as singers.

On the September 1st broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘, KARA stated, “We want to receive acknowledgement from many people through this album.”

KARA released their 5th mini-album ‘Pandora‘ last month. In response to a question about their goals for ‘Pandora’, the members responded, “We want to hear that we’re a group that doesn’t lack anything.”

The girls were also asked which careers they’d pursue in another life. Jiyoung answered that she would like to try out being a photographer, Nicole said she would get married and run a cafe, while Seungyeon replied she would be an architect. Gyuri and Hara on the other hand stated that they’d like to be ordinary students trying to find their dreams.

Luna makes debut + Ulala Session wins first place over Ailee on ‘Immortal Song 2′

Ulala Session beat out singer Ailee for first place on September 1st’s ‘Immortal Song 2‘.

The group won with their playful rendition of “Dunk Shoot” on the Lee Seung Hwanspecial of the show, earning 418 점 from the audience. Ulala Session 갔다 up against Ailee, who sang an emotional cover of Lee Seung Hwan's “ My Heart Towards You“.

Two new acts joined the program this week: rock band Sweet Sorrow and f(x)‘s Luna, who made her first appearance on the show. Sweet Sorrow covered “Crimson Camel” with a special feature by No Brain‘s Lee Sang Woo, leaving a strong first impression with their headbanging performance.

Luna, on the other hand, sang a sweet, soulful rendition of one of Lee Seung Hwan’s hits “For a Thousand Days“.

Sweet Soul, who has rejoined ‘Immortal Song 2′, performed “A Good Day“, while K.Will received a cheer from the original singer for his performance of “A Heart for One Person“. Cha Ji Yeon held a musical stage of “As Much As Love Broken by the World” as well.

In other news, Jung Jae Hyung made his first appearance as host on the same episode, replacing Jun Hyun Moo.
