T-ara's forest started in celebration of group's 5th anniversary last year is now open for visits

Queen's got together last year to raise funds for a T-ara forest in celebration of the group's fifth anniversary, and the nature spot is now available for visits!

International fans from South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia teamed up to name trees after each of the six T-ara members. The 'T-ara' forest is filled with Chinese fringetrees, spindle trees, boxwood trees, and azaleas and provides a beautiful spot for passersby to rest in Seoul.

 

As previously reported, T-ara's domestic fan club site 't-arafan.com' and their international fan sites 'Diadem', 'TARA6JAPAN', 'T-ARACHINA', and 'T-ARAHK' came together to take part in 'TREE PLANET's 'Star Forest Project'. Two hundred and fifty fans contributed to the fundraiser and raised approximately 9 million KRW (~8,800 USD).

Soyu and Mad Clown choose other artists over each other

Both Soyu and Mad Clown appeared on different programs on January 9 to pick other artists over each other.

In an interview session backstage of KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' before his comeback stage, Mad Clown was asked to choose between the two ladies of SISTAR with whom he had collaborated in the past: Soyu and Hyorin.  

He said, "Because I personally really only look towards Hyorin, I will choose Hyorin."

Both he and Soyu also appeared on KBS 2TV's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' where he was asked this question again.  Yoo Hee Yeol said, "You worked with the two female singers male singers dream to work with: Soyu and Hyorin.  Who would you prefer as your girlfriend: Soyu or Hyorin?"

Mad Clown replied, "I was waiting for a question like this," then chose Hyorin.  He explained, "Hyorin has a strong ability to maintain her livelihood," hinting at her confidence, ambitions, and goal-driven personality.

Here, Soyu was asked a similar question: "Between JungGiGo, K.Will, and Mad Clown, whose appearance is most your type?" She said it was close for all of them, then chose JungGiGo, explaining, "I like mismatched eyes, which JungGiGo has."

However, she revealed she was not completely against Mad Clown, either, as she continued, "In terms of grooms, I also like Mad Clown.  He's the affectionate type who will be good to his wife.  JungGiGo has good reactions and speaks well."

As for K.Will, Soyu said, "He's just an oppa.  Just once, I saw him as a man, and that was because he was wearing a fragrance I like."

Soyu reveals that people thought SISTAR dressed as homeless people on Christmas edition of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'

SISTAR's Soyu appeared on the most recent airing of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' where she revealed the response she got for SISTAR's fuzzy-monkey costume for the Christmas episode of the show. 

On January 9, Soyu and underground rapper Mad Clown appeared on the show, and Soyu revealed that she had turned off her phone on the day of the airing for the show's Christmas edition. 

She said, "I received a lot of calls, and there were a lot of opinions [regarding the costume]. Some of them included, 'It was fun,' 'Is that okay for a female idol,' and Are you guys supposed to be homeless?' We were supposed to be monkeys, but some people thought that we were homeless people."
