Super Junior to resume Mamacita promotions in October

Gathering a whopping nine music shows' wins in just less than a month of promotions for Mamacita, Super Junior are not ending it there.

The group has temporarily halted their promotional activities for 7th album to give way for Super Show 6 in Seoul which took place on September 19-21.

However, to fans delight, it is reported that Super Junior are expected to resume their promotional activities and broadcast stages in October.

With their return, expect a tighter competition of big idols like Super Junior, TaeTiSeo, 2PM, Teen Top, Ailee, Soyu, and more in the following weeks.

Ailee shares her secret to losing 10 kg (22 lbs) in a month

On September 25, Ailee held a showcase for her third mini-album, 'Magazine,' at theIlchi Art Hall located in Gangnam, Seoul. During this showcase, Ailee talked about her struggles in preparing for her comeback.

She stated, "The hardest thing was losing weight and practicing the song." She added,"Everyday, I felt like I was going to faint. But I didn't."

Despite her fatigue, Ailee's hard work seems to have pulled off. Not only was she able to showcase her ever amazing vocals but she also displayed an image transformation with a slimmer body. Ailee revealed that she had actually lost 10 kg (~ 22 lbs) and explained her diet, saying, "I ate 500 calories each time." She elaborated, "100 grams of proteins like shrimp, beef, chicken breast, or crab meat; a little bit of vegetables; and one fruit per meal."

The result? "In a little over one month, I lost weight," she revealed.  After surprising the crowd with her revelation, she added, "I didn't intend to lose weight so suddenly; I just lost weight suddenly."

Vocal powerhouse Ailee wowed the crowd as she performed her new songs "Don't Touch Me", "Bitten Disease", and "Now It's Goodbye". Afterwards, she spoke to the press about her third mini-album, 'Magazine,' saying, "The first compositions I made in my life are on this album. I made these songs a long time ago. With this album, I wanted to show my growth as an artist."

Ailee's latest mini-album is certainly an impressive collection of diverse tracks, containing hints of Europop, hip hop, medium-tempo pop, and ballads. Her songs "Bitten Disease","Teardrop", and "Now It's Goodbye" have particularly gained attention for being farewell songs. When prompted on their back story, Ailee replied, "Although it's true that these are farewell songs, they're not based on my personal experiences. They're songs that we all worked on together, so they tell a combined story. Like drawing a picture, we made these songs."

When asked if she was planning on releasing a full-length album anytime soon, Ailee stated, "I want to make a regular album as soon as possible. And so I keep receiving good songs. Because I want to put out good results, I think it's taking longer." 

For now, fans will have to be satisfied with Ailee's mini-album release, which is certainly amazing on its own even without being full-length!

Although she recently went through a major weight loss, Ailee revealed that she loves all kinds of meat, which is the one thing she doesn't want others to 'touch' when she's eating. The singer also discussed her circus concept for her latest track "Don't Touch Me" and revealed she looks up to Beyonce, Lee Hyori, and Ariana Grande.

Soyu and Urban Zakapa release MV for 'The Space Between'

Soyu and Urban Zakapa has dropped their collaboration song 'The Space Between' on various music sites along with its MV today.

The MV features the acts of Ahn Jaehyun and Nam Bora who crossed paths because of  very unexpected reason and gradually developed into a wonderful relationship.

After Soyu's successful hit songs with Mad Clown and JungGiGo, many are anticipating this collaboration with the ever talented vocal duo from Urban Zakapa.

KARA's Seungyeon and Gyuri have taken some time out from their busy schedule to record a song for the OST of KBS drama 'Iron Man'!

The song is titled "Hello" and its an acoustic-style track that expresses the love between Shin Se Kyung and Lee Dong Wook's characters. The girls' lovely voices bring the lyrics to life to further heighten the emotions during the drama.

SHINee's Japanese album 'I'm Your Boy' charted at #1 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart!

According to the Oricon Chart, SHINee's third Japanese studio album 'I'm Your Boy' sold 11,506 copies on the day of its release on September 24, charting at #1 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart.

The album, which is available in 3 editions (regular, A, and B), consists of 12 tracks including "Lucky Star", "Everybody", "3 2 1", and "Dream Girl".

Emma Watson and Leonardo DiCaprio snap photos with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon

Two Hollywood actors commemorated their recent visit to the United Nations (U.N.) by taking pictures with the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon. While Emma Watsonposed with the Secretary-General on September 21 after speaking about her new 'He for She' campaign, Leonardo DiCaprio took the picture just yesterday after speaking about his long-established 'Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation'.

On September 24, Vogue shared the picture above on Instagram of Emma Watson with Secretary-General Ban. The photo was accompanied with the caption: "UN Women Goodwill Ambassador #EmmaWatson and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon backstage at the #HeForShe campaign launch. Register your support at heforshe.org".

In the picture, both the actress and the Secretary-General appear stoic, perhaps both drained from Watson's own serious and powerful message on feminism. On the day the picture was taken, Watson had talked to the U.N. about her new campaign 'He for She', through which she hopes to gather as many male supporters for women's rights as possible in order to battle the negative stigma of feminism as a man-hating movement.

Leonardo Dicaprio also took to his Facebook yesterday with the above picture, saying, "Today, I have the privilege to speak at the United Nations#Climate2014 Summit where world leaders are expected to announce the bold steps they will take to tackle climate change. Thank you Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon."

DiCaprio attended the U.N. Climate Summit yesterday to promote environmental health and to discuss his 'Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation', which has been working to protect wild environments and improve the relationship between humanity and the natural world since 1998. DiCaprio is probably thanking the Secretary-General not only for the opportunity to speak on his cause but for also designating him as a U.N. Messenger for Peace back in September 16.

Heechul writes a post about Sungmin after news of his relationship with Kim Sa Eun

Following the news that Super Junior's Sungmin was in a relationship with musical actress, Kim Sa Eun, Heechul posted a thoughtful Instagram post, showing his affections towards his fellow group mate.

He wrote, "He's not my younger sibling by blood, but.. my younger brother, Sung Min.  He is still in my phone under the name 'Sweet Pumpkin.'  There were lines like, 'Cook a lot of sweet pumpkins ~ because I stuffed myself with it all ^-^".. I had forgotten kekekeke Sungmin, who is always quiet and never causes trouble, was especially busy today.. ^-^ There is something I constantly say: 'Hey, you can't hit Sungmin, even with a flower.' That's right.  You can't hit Sungmin with a flower or even with my face (It's a flower. T-ara made their appearance on the September 24 installment of MBC Everyone's 'Weekly Idol' and had a fun time, providing lots of fun and laughs for viewing fans.

During one corner, the girls had to engage in competition for the coveted prize of Hanwoo beef!  The first round was to discover the Queen of Trot, and the girls engaged with diligence and fervor.  However, in the end, Hyomin won, earning herself some delicious beef.

The other members said, "She ate kalbi this morning, too..."  After a taste of the hanwoo, Hyomin said, "It's really delicious.  From now on, I will continue working hard, so I can eat all the meat."

Super Junior revealed to have won September 19th's canceled episode of 'Music Bank'

Super Junior were belatedly announced as the winners for September 19th's 'Music Bank'!

The September 19th broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank was canceled due to the '17th Asian Games Incheon 2014' ('2014 Incheon Asian Games'), and it turns out Super Junior came out as #1 on 'Music Bank's K-Chart for that week. This also marks their 2nd consecutive win on 'Music Bank' for their current promotion cycle.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will be continuing on their 'Super Show 6' tour in Tokyo Dome, Japan on October 29-30.
