EXO's Tao's Instagram and Weibo updated with posts about feeling betrayed

The EXO members have been speaking out on their thoughts after Kris filed against SM Entertainment asking for the contract to be nullified. While others remained a bit more vague and ambiguous, Tao spoke more directly on the topic, leaving fans to wonder just what could have happened to lead to this situation.

He posted the photo above and wrote, "The road is long, and no one can decide where you want to go. The public will always be left in the dark, but it might be that the public will side with who is in the minority. However that's not the truth. Only those who have experienced the truth are able to understand, such as our 11 members and SM employees. To those on the outside, the right and wrong could be reflected oppositely. They probably won't know what it feels like to be betrayed by another person and then to have everyone side with the person who has betrayed us. Everyone can have their own perspectives and opinions. However, the truth is pointing to what is right and wrong. We have a clear conscience. We can't stop someone who wants to leave, and he kept this from us. As we were sweating and practicing hard for our concert, we learned that one wouldn't be coming back. We have to restart preparations for the concert as 11 members. So tired. EXO, let's love."

When he started to see the feedback he was getting on Instagram as well as Weibo with fans speculating that someone else had written the message, his Weibo was updated again with a message that stated, "I am EXO member Tao. The things said on Weibo and Instagram are by me. I have nothing to hide." He also posted messages along the lines about the truth surfacing sooner or later, further leaving fans to wonder about the truth of the situation.

Tao expresses his side feels betrayed over the unfortunate situation

Amidst the unfortunate situation going around EXO after Kris files lawsuit for contract termination today, fellow EXO-M member Tao writes down his thoughts through his personal instagram and weibo account.

Along with a photo, he wrote a lengthy note,

"The road is really long, where you want to go, no one can decide for you. The truth will always be hidden from the public, perhaps the public will choose to side the minority, but that isn't the truth. The truth will only be understood by those who have gone through it. Like the 11 of us members, our company SM and the staff. But on the outside, the good ones have been reversed to become the bad. You all will not feel the betrayal that I have felt, after being betrayed, and everyone actually sides this single person, you guys can have your own opinions, but all I want to say is that the truth apart from what's false, we know it in our hearts. One person chooses to leave, we can't hold him back, he has found his ways, and has escaped successfully. At a time when we are unaware, he actually secretly went away without letting us and the company know. The drive to do certain things will follow many people, but I hope that everyone will use this thirst with good intentions. Practicing and sweating a lot in the process, but realised that one person will never be back, this news, and the concert has to be prepared all over again with 11 people, it's tiring. Let's love EXO~"

The same post has been posted by Tao on his weibo account as well, but already deleted some. He stated that the post on instagram is actually written by him in response to fans' speculation that someone might have written this on Tao's instagram account.

Despite of this whirlwind situation, fans on SNS are cheering for each other and throwing different opinions such as, "Tao would never write something like this.","I don't know who to believe now.","Are they trying to make Kris the bad one?","This is too much to handle." and so on.

Nevertheless, this is a situation where fans need to encourage and cheer for each other. Fighting! This too shall pass.

EXO's Suho comments on Kris' suit against SM Entertainment, calls his actions 'irresponsible'

EXO's Suho gave his two cents on Kris' request to nullify his contract and lawsuit against SM Entertainment, becoming the first member to speak on the issue.

Osen met up with EXO-K in the 'M! Countdown' waiting room after their performance of "Overdose" on the May 15th show, and Suho spoke up about the recent developments involving fellow member Kris. He told Osen, "All the members had a conversation. We don't understand Kris' actions at all. Everyone was caught off-guard and have mixed feelings."

Suho continued, "I think Kris' actions are irresponsible and show that he's not thinking about EXO at all. Our members and agency have no issues. What Kris needs to do right now is take back the lawsuit and apologize to the members and company."

There's also speculation that Suho's comments on the 'M! Countdown' stage afterEXO's win with "Overdose" are in reference to Kris and his lawsuit. Receiving the trophy, he said, "Thank you for the big award. Thank you to all the people who love us. It's Teacher's Day, so I want to thank Lee Soo Man sunsaengnim. We won't forget this blessing. I sincerely love the EXO members. Our motto is, 'We are one,' and like the motto says we'll become an EXO that think about EXO and our fans instead of just our individual selves. We'll work hard. We are one. EXO, I love you."

[Updated] Sehun & Chanyeol post on Instagram seemingly in response to the situation + several EXO members unfollow Kris?

Fans probably aren't the only ones at a loss about the current situation as EXO'sSehun has seemingly also expressed his state of mind through his latest Instagram post.

The question mark seen above was posted by Sehun, following the news of Kris's lawsuit against SM Entertainment, and was accompanied by the caption "...". 

Fans also noticed that Kris is no longer followed by most of his members on various social media accounts like Instagram as well as Weibo. Although some proposed that perhaps some of the members may not have followed Kris to start with, others noticed that the members, who were definitely seen following him just recently, no longer have him on their lists. So far, at the time of writing, Baekhyun is the only member who still has Kris on his following list.

Neither SM nor Kris's lawyers are offering much details regarding the situation, but reports have emerged stating that 'Kris's side' has spoken up to say that this situation has come about as Kris felt that he was being treated as an object and all his schedules and activities were decided for him by SM without regard to his opinion or health, which left him to feel that his basic human right to freedom was being violated. It's not clear at the moment who 'Kris's side' that some of the reports are referring to is as the words aren't from the lawyers or SM. 

Meanwhile, fans have been taking to Instagram and other SNS means to remind the EXO members that 'We Are One' to relay their message of support and encourage the EXO members to stay strong and get through the situation together.

[Update] - Chanyeol has also just posted on his Instagram, leaving fans even more confused. 

Along with the EXO logo, he has written a caption which translates to, "reward virtue/good and punish the bad/evil".

Upcoming OCN drama 'God's Quiz 4' recently released the NG cuts for both Donghaeand Jaekyung's character teasers.

In Donghae's NGs, he's unable to "accidentally" hit Ryu Duk Hwan in the head with his doctor's gown or even put on the gown once he's done. Meanwhile, Jaekyung struggles with making a grand entrance and reciting her lines to Ryu Duk Hwan, who drools and stares at her in awe.

EXO's Kris seeking to nullify contract with SM Entertainment

Shocking news has come for the fans of EXO as it has been reported that Kris is asking SM Entertainment to nullify his contract.

News broke in Korea that according to a report by a Chinese media outlet, Kris is asking for his contract to be terminated and has filed a lawsuit at the Seoul Central Court.

Specific details aren't mentioned, but the Chinese media outlet reports that the reasons are similar to that of Hangeng and Super Junior's previous situation. It is suspected that there is disagreement between him and SM Entertainment regarding his activities. [Update - According to several reports, Kris's side has cited that the idol is being treated as if he is an object rather than being respected as an artist. They also mention that SM one-sidedly decided on the schedules, not giving thought to Kris' opinion or his health condition. As they believe that SM is restricting Kris from his basic human right to freedom and his choices career wise, the contract should be nullified.]

A few Korean media outlets are said to have contacted the court regarding this but a rep from the court is said to have said that there is no record of a suit being filed against SM Entertainment. In response, the Chinese media outlet has said that the suit has not yet been filed, but that Kris will be heading over to file.

There is so far no official from SM Entertainment regarding this report, so stay tuned for updates.

[Update 1] - Many fans have been sending in tips saying that SM Entertainment has already denied the report and released a statement, but the original report that contained SM's statement has been changed and no longer includes the statement (you can see it here). The media outlet also changed the article's title so that it no longer reflects their previous content. We do not know the reason for the change, but stay tuned for an official statement to come.

[Update 2] - According to a report by 10Asia, they have spoken with the Seoul Central Court and it has been said that a lawsuit has been filed. "A suit regarding the termination of the contract has been submitted under Kris's Chinese name on the 15th... As it has just been submitted today, it has not been completely processed through the system." The media outlet states that SM is currently not responding.

[Update 3] - Images of Kris's submission to the court has been spreading, and SM Entertainment has finally responded to say, "We are trying to confirm the facts regarding the lawsuit requesting for the termination of Kris' contract. It is a very shocking issue, but we will do our best so that EXO's activities will go on smoothly."It's also being said the same lawyer who represented Hangeng will be representing Kris.

[Update 4] - Lawyer Cho Bum Suk of the law firm Hankyul, who represented Hangeng in his case against SM, will be handling Kris's case. The law firm rep confirmed with media outlets, "It is true Kris has filed a suit today (15th) against SM Entertainment for the nullification of his contract... Lawyer Cho Bum Suk, who represented Hangeng, has picked up this case."

The law firm has also expressed that their intention is to quietly handle this case without revealing specific details to the public.

Baek Ji Young is ready to grace the stage again with a goddess-style concept as shown in a new teaser image for "Still Hot"!

The picture shows Chen wearing glasses above his real name, Kim Jong Dae.  Despite his younger, less glamorous look, he still has the handsome features and confident charisma that enabled him to become one of the top stars today!

Donghae talks about his growing friendship with Jaekyung + Heechul's visit to set of 'God's Quiz 4'

Donghae talked about his growing friendship with Jaekyung at the press conference held on May 14 for their upcoming drama 'God's Quiz 4.' 

He said, "I met her through this drama and talked to her for the first time.  Jaekyung's personality is outgoing and friendly.  I am two years older than she is, but she approached me first and we are comfortably taking part in filming."

He also talked about Heechul's visit to the set of the drama.  Donghae stated, "Heechul came to the filming set, said, 'Can I greet the staff, director, and actors?  Can I stir things up and then leave?' while greeting them.  And then [Heechul] said before leaving, 'Please look after Donghae.'  As the members of the same group, we monitor one another."

'Show Champion' has finally resumed broadcasting, giving the first trophy since its comeback to none other than EXO-K for their hit "Overdose"!

UPDATE 3: Kris no longer active in EXO activities in the future

With his lawsuit against SM Entertainment being processed, Kris' side reveals that Kris will not be joining his fellow EXO members in their promotions and activities in the future.

Recently, EXO-M appeared on Chinese CCTV Global music program to promote 'Overdose' and even won their 1st trophy, but it seems like that would be his last stage. Furthermore, fans could expect that 11 members of EXO are going to perform on their first solo concert on May 23 to 25, excluding Kris.

UPDATE 2: SME confirms Kris' lawsuit, "We will do our best to resolve this."

In light of Kris's lawsuit filing against SM Entertainment to terminate his contract, the agency now responds and tells TVDaily, "It is true that Kris has filed a termination of exclusive contract and we're looking onto it. We apologize for this embarrassing situation. We will do our best for EXO's activities to do well and resolve this problem."

Seoul Central District receives Kris's lawsuit file against SME, 

In the updated news, the Seoul Central District Court already received and accepted the lawsuit filed by EXO-M Kris against his agency SM Entertainment to terminate his contract.

According to Chinese reports, they revealed that Kris has already planned to file a lawsuit one month ago. The official expressed that two years of success is quite short and it's saddening to see one member leaving just the time they've had their 1st our.

Moreover, Seoul Central District told 10Asia that Kris filed the lawsuit under his Chinese name Wu Yi Fan. They stated that the it is yet to be processed and SME hasn't responding yet.

In the midst of their 'Overdose' promotions, a shocking report has spread among EXO fans today stating that EXO-M member Kris is reported by Chinese media to be filing a lawsuit against his agency, SM Entertainment, for contract termination.

EXO fans on Sina Weibo (Chinese SNS) are talking about it and it spread like fire among Korean fans and globally. According to the newspaper and media reports, an official from Kris's side said, "I will go with Kris today to file a lawsuit in Seoul Central District Court."

There aren't further details about the news or what the reason is he seeking to terminate his contract but it is rumored that he's having the same case as of that former Super Junior member Hangeng'. Korean media outlets reported that Seoul Central District Court stated that there's no such filing yet.

Furthermore, SM representatives stated, "We aren't aware of it. We are going to check the news."
