Seungyeon & Jiyoung’s fathers to negotiate with DSP Media

On January 23rd, the fathers of KARA’s Jiyoung and Seungyeon spoke with reporters from MBC’s “Section TV“ through a phone interview and revealed, “We have decided to negotiate with DSP Entertainment for the 24th.”

Jiyoung’s father said,”Whether she returns to DSP has yet to be decided, but I hope to create good results through yielding little by little. The members have expressed that they cannot separate no matter what.”

Seungyeon’s father added, “It’s not possible to be 100% satisfied in life. You just live. KARA consists of five members, it cannot be KARA with one missing. I spoke with Seungyeon and she was crying. Emotionally, she was probably very shocked.”

DSP clarifies rumors about a KARA Japanese press conference

DSP Media has released an official press statement in regards to a supposed KARA press conference in Japan. Reportedly, all five girls were said to appear in order to speak about matters regarding the DSP Media contract terminations.

On January 23rd, Japan’s Sankei Sports News said, “KARA will visit Japan in the beginning of next week to resume their activities. Because of the drama ‘URAKARA,’ KARA was supposed to come to Japan on the 22nd to film, but they have postponed it to next week. Additionally, the Japanese office of DSP Media is organizing a press conference with the five members.”

DSP Media has just revealed that this report is unfortunately false. They clarified, “We do not have a press conference scheduled nor have we started to plan one, as the three members have yet to finalize their decisions. The schedule for their next filming of ‘URAKARA’ is still under discussion.”

Nichkhun confesses that Victoria makes his heart beat faster

The January 22nd episode of KBS’s “Entertainment Relay” had Khuntoria fans swooning over a particular interview question posed to 2PM’s Nichkhun.

The boys were interviewed on the set of a photoshoot, and the reporter eventually asked Nichkhun, “Who makes your heart beat faster these days?”

Nichkhun answered unreservedly, “Victoria.”

It’s not quite the love confession that fangirls were looking for, but all the same, it made everyone’s hearts stop. Could this couple get any cuter?

KARA Restarting Activities, Heading To Japan

Part of 5 member girl pop group KARA is in a dispute with their company to terminate their contracts. However, it was announced on the 22nd that KARA would be arriving in Japan at the beginning of the week to resume their Japanese activities.

On the 21st, the agent for the 3 members who are trying to cancel their contracts with DSP Media spoke for them, “The members want to work as 5”. It is possible that there may be a press conference to resolve the disbandment and separation crisis that the girls are going through.

According to authorized officials, the girls were supposed to arrive in Japan on the 22nd to start filming for TV Tokyo’s drama “URAKARA”, but it had since been changed to the beginning of the following week. DSP’s Japanese branch took the initiative and gave the girls a 2 day “grace period”. All 5 members have began preparing for an interview in advance.

On the 19th, the break-up problems came up due to Seungyeon (22), Nicole (19) and Jiyoung (17) requesting a termination of their contracts. Officials close to KARA explained, “This issue has been an idea before. It’s likely to end in “much ado about nothing””.

Victoria surprises Nichkhun with a homemade lunchbox on “We Got Married”

On this week’s episode of MBC “We Got Married”, Victoria surprised her ‘husband’ Nichkhun with a gift in support of 2PM’s comeback stage on “Music Core”.

Victoria spent all morning making a homemade Pad Thai lunchbox, and with the help of SHINEE’sMinho, she was able to successfully enter 2PM’s waiting room to deliver her special lunchbox to Nichkhun.

Although he didn’t show it on stage, Nichkhun acted like a cute baby as he told Victoria, “To be honest it was a bit hard for me today. I think I hurt this area.” Out of jealousy, member Junho replied, “I guess you’ll be all better after you eat that?”

When the members bitterly asked, “Is it nice?”, Nichkhun completely ignored them and instead stared longingly at Victoria with a happy expression. Nichkhun said, “Victoria’s present was like medicine.”

f(x)’s Victoria was shocked to see her name written in Nichkhun’s ‘Thanks To’ message

On this week’s episode of MBC’s “We Got Married”, Victoria could not hide her shock when she saw her name mentioned in Nichkhun’s ‘Thanks To’ message in 2PM’s first full album.

Victoria headed off to meet and support Nichkhun before 2PM’s comeback stage by gifting him a homemade Pad Thai lunch box that she had spent all morning preparing.

She received help from her close friend Minho of SHINee in order to deliver her prepared gifts in a special way. Minho also showed Victoria, 2PM’s official album’s ‘Thanks to’ section which had a special message directly written to Victoria.

When Minho was flipping through the album booklet, he asked Victoria whether it was her name that was written in the ‘Thanks to’ section, to which she simply replied with, “Nah, no way.”

To her surprise, her name was indeed written in Nichkhun’s message, which read “Victoria-ssi, always keep strong and if you ever have a hard time, call me.”
