f(x) releases official version of “Pinocchio (Danger)”

A few days back, we covered the release of f(x)’s new track, “Pinocchio (Danger)“.

Ahead of their album release on the 20th, f(x) has also released their album tracklist and alongside “Pinocchio” are tracks like “Sweet Witches“, “Dangerous“, “Gangsta Boy“, “My Style“, and others for a total of 10 tracks. The final 10th track, “Lollipop“, is noted for featuring fellow labelmates,SHINee.

4minute receives IV treatments to keep up with choreography changes

Unfortunately for 4minute, the controversy surrounding their ’spread leg’ choreography came with more consequences than they expected. After being ordered to switch out a portion of their dance, the girls are now receiving IV treatments in order to keep up with the stressful changes.

The girls, especially Gayoon and Jiyoon, are already suffering from severe colds due to the unpredictable weather.

Jiyoon stated, “I got a few severe colds that made me get IV treatments in order to promote.” Gayoon added, “I had to get an IV before our performance on April 14th. Not only me, but HyunA and the others are all in poor condition right now.”

4minute already underwent all-night rehearsals for their “Mirror Mirror” comeback, but with all of the choreography changes they now have to keep up with, the girls practically have no time for rest.

Gayoon stated, “Physically, it’s difficult. Before, we’d go straight to our dorms after we finished our schedules for the day and rest, but we can’t do that at the moment. Still, all of us are working hard to improve our choreography. We did have a lot of anticipation since it is our first comeback in nearly a year. Although there’s been some controversy, we consider it as people taking an interest in us. We promise to show a better side to our image soon.”

T-ara to endorse “iRiver”

Recently, the ladies of T-ara were selected as exclusive models for electronics brand, ‘iRiver‘.

Starting from the end of this month, the girls will be taking part in various ads and teaser events, in addition to star auctions and fan signings. Representatives of iRiver revealed that they were looking forward to T-ara’s effects on their brand image, as the girls have a diverse fanbase ranging from young teens to 30s.

Director Lee Sang Won of iRiver Korea stated, “T-ara’s modern and bubbly charms fit well with iRiver’s brand image, which is how we came to choose them as our models. We’ll be taking a step closer to our consumers through T-ara’s diverse charms.”

Meanwhile, T-ara’s Jiyeon showed off her ‘Miss Korea’ charms while on a photoshoot for iRiver’s latest advertisement.

She tweeted, “Currently filming for iRiver’s advertisement.” Netizens commented, “Jiyeon can enter Miss Korea”, “She looks like a countess”, and “Miss Korea spring goddess.”

Ham Eunjung, "My husband Lee Jang Woo - no skinship yet!"

Recently in MBC's "We Got Married", T-ara's Eunjung has been fitted with a great husband, handsome and tall Lee Jang Woo.

Ham Eunjung and Lee Jang Woo's first meeting was highly anticipated by the audience, with large expectations as the replacements of the popular Jo Kwon - Ga In and Yong Hwa - Seo Hyun couples.

With Lee Jang Woo's known playful personality and Ham Eunjung's chic image, views questioned how much skinship could be initiated as interest in this topic surfaced. So far, they've only had minor contact, such as high-fives.

T-ara 3 months and 3 billion made as CF models!

Girl group T-ara has made over 3 billion won (approx. 2.7 million USD) over the past 3 months through CF contracts.

T-ara has had CFs for Spris, iRiver, Shin Ramyun, Crown Mountain, Windysoft, Look Optical and various other products, hitting the jackpot as CF advertisement models.

T-ara's agency said, "In addition to being singers, T-ara is involved in dramas, movies, and other entertainment, creating a highly appealing image for the public and becoming approached by a variety of companies because they can appeal to anyone. Food, clothes, games, glasses, cosmetics, etc, they were given the opportunity to model for many diverse products."

T-ara debuted in July 2009 with their track "Lies" and later gained attention for their popular hits, "Bo Peep Bo Peep", "I Go Crazy Because of You" "Like The First Time" "Why Are You Like This?" and "Yayaya". IU to take up her first movie OST challenge for 'Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild'

Female diva IU is taking up her first movie theme song challenge in her lifetime. The movie 'Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild' is an animated movie that tells the story of a hen stepping out of her comfort zone into the new world, accompanied by a mallard. Through animation, the movie showcases their courage to take up the challenge in order to achieve their dreams and freedom.

The movie theme song, which is about the thrill of taking up this challenge, requires one to express great depth of character and sensitivity, as well as a wide register. Hence, IU's explosive vocals were chosen as the ideal option for meeting these criteria most satisfactorily.

Animation production company, Myung Film, expressed, "If IU sings the movie OST, the movie's theme will be expressed well."

The theme song uses orchestra music to achieve a balance between a grand tune and a refined melody. It was composed by Lee Ji Soo, a well-known music director for his works in 'Old Boy', 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance', and other movie OSTs and the lyrics were written by Kim Lee Na, IU's lyricist for 'Good Day', 'Nagging', and other songs.

This collaboration between the best talents in composing, lyricwriting and vocals came true during their recording at a Gangnam studio in March. Inserting this movie OST, a combination of IU's powerful vocals with the best production crew, into the final scene of the movie, is likely to produce an ending many times more touching.

The movie will be simultaneously released in both Korea and China, with actors Moon So Ri and Yoo Seung Ho doing voiceover for Leafie and the baby mallard respectively. On April 21, IU will be performing the movie OST together with a 15-member orchestra, during the production briefing at Kumho Art Hall at 11am.

4minute expresses their love for B2ST & G.NA

In their latest interview with Star News, 4minute showed their support and love for label mates B2STand G.NA.

With a laugh, Gayoon revealed, “The members of B2ST are like our cousins, we’re all very close, just like family. We can be called the first team to debut under Cube Entertainment, so we received a lot of love from our CEO and company employees as the only child. But with the debuts of B2ST and G.NA after us, the attention became divided (laughter).”

She continued, “Of course, they still give us so much love, but we’re going to be working harder so that their interest in us will be like old times. The fact that we think preciously of B2ST and G.NA will never change.”

Sohyun added, “B2ST oppas and G.NA unni are all so great. It’s because we have B2ST and G.NA that we’re even more proud of Cube Entertainment.”

She concluded, “We’ll be promoting in Korea a lot this year so that we can become a team that B2ST and G.NA will think is amazing as well.”

Eunjung gets serenaded by Lee Jang Woo!

On the April 16th broadcast of MBC’s “We Got Married“, newlyweds Eunjung and Lee Jang Wooenjoyed a late night camping trip by the Han River.

As they were walking along the Han River, the two decided to toss around a baseball for fun, except they got points when the other failed to catch the ball. Although Eunjung was down at the beginning, she quickly made up the difference and ended up beating Lee Jang Woo. Afterwards, as they returned to the tent to take a break, Eunjung asked her husband to sing a song for her.

Lee Jang Woo duly took out his phone to use a guitar app, although he seemed a bit embarrassed as he began to sing, “Nothin’ on You“. However, he forgot some of the lyrics, and ended up choosing to sing, “Snow Flower” by Park Hyo Shin.

His performance drew cries from the studio panel, who commented that Lee Jang Woo was ”a real romantic” and a barrage of other comments, which drew laughter.
