T-ara becomes the first idol group to endorse ‘Himart’

T-ara has been selected to be the first ever idol group to endorse ‘Himart‘!

On September 14th, Core Contents Media revealed, “T-ara will be parodying Nam Jin‘s ‘With You’with Himart’s current model, actor Yoon Sang Hyun. Himart has always chosen the most popular stars for their endorsements, and this time they’ve chosen T-ara (their first ever idol group models), thanks to their ‘Roly-Poly‘ popularity this summer.”

Representatives of Himart added, “We’ve always only ever brought on actors with friendly images in order to appeal to our older consumer base. This time, through T-ara, we hope to appeal to a wider variety from teens all the way to those in their 60′s.”

Idol Star Athletics Championships achieves top rank in viewer ratings!

MBC Chuseok Special, ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships‘ topped the viewer rating charts at first place among this year’s Chuseok Special TV programs.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, part 2 of ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships’ gained a whopping 15.9%(nationwide) in viewer ratings on September 13th at 6:44pm KST while the 1st part received 11.8%.

ZE:A‘s Dongjun outran the likes of Shinee Minho and Mighty Mouth’s Sang Chu by winning the 100m dash and the 110m hurdles. He became a two-time winner and scored an impressive 12.42 seconds in the 100m dash race while 2AM Jo Kwon came close with 12.46 seconds.

The ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships’ grabbed enormous attention due to a wide range of idol participants including Super Junior, SHINee, Sistar, Miss A, Davichi, ZE:A, T-ara, MBLAQ,Infinite, G.NA, Rainbow, Jewelry, Teen Top, Dalshabet, B1A4, A Pink, Five Dolls, HwanHee,Eight, Mighty Mouth, Min Kyung Hoon, and Boyfriend.

On September 13 at Jamsil baseball stadium, Lotte Card Pro Baseball teams ‘LG Twins’ went up against ‘Dusan Bears’.

T-ara‘s Hyomin appeared wearing a Twins uniform, tying the top in order to show her thin midriff, along with tight pants.Hyomin confidently made a short speech in front of the crowd and then threw a strike.

T-ara the first idol group to sign a contract with "Hi-Mart"

Girl group T-ara was chosen as the new models for Hi-Mart.

Revealved on the 14th by T-ara's agency Core Contents Media was that T-ara will begin a year-long contract as models for Hi-Mart with it's current model Nam Jin and plan to start it off by making a "Along with Nam Jin" parody.

They also said, "Because T-ara are one of the most popular figures at the moment, they were appointed as models for the brand Hi-Mart. Over the summer, T-ara started a retro craze with 'Roly-Poly' and now they are to be the first idol group to be in ads for Hi-Mart."

Hi-Mart has mainly had actors with friendly imagines in the past because they are able to appear to adults and older ages easier and more familiarly. T-ara was selected to be the first idol group to model for Hi-Mart because they are able to appeal to all people, mainly between the ages of 10-60.

T-ara's new ad with Hi-Mart will begin broadcasting on TV starting on the 23rd.

Hyomin pitches for LG Twins

T-ara member Hyomin captivated the baseball fans!

On September 13th at Jamsil Stadium, Hyomin pitched on the 2011 Lotte Card Baseball league for "LG Twins" on the game against "Dusan Bears".

Hyomin appeared in Twins uniform and tight jeans. She showed off her sexy and tiny waistline. Hyomin had a short speech and successfully threw a strike.
