f(x) is working on their comeback album

SM Entertainment alerted fans of the comeback of f(x) through Star News on January 18th.

Representatives revealed, “f(x) is currently amidst preparations for their comeback, which is scheduled for the first half of this year.”

Regarding news of Amber’s return after an ankle injury, they explained, “Amber’s return to the group is definite. They will be promoting their new album this year with a completely new image.”

“4minute’s Mr. Teacher” airs a hilarious first episode

4minute’s variety show, “4minute’s Mr. Teacher” finally aired its pilot episode through E Channelon January 19th.

The show aims to bring in ‘pretty-boy teachers’ from different countries in order to tutor 4minute on foreign languages and cultures. Ultimately, the goal is to help them with their overseas advancements.

Their first episode had the girls walking the red carpet in pyjamas – did we mention it was in negative degree weather? The ladies of 4minute had to perfect their poses and deliver an impressive performance in freezing temperatures, but it seems that they managed to pull it off.

After their performance, they rode a limousine to a salon and surprised the celebrities there with their pyjama fashion. B2ST’s Kikwang was especially unable to take his eyes off their fashion and exclaimed, “My interest in them has just risen!”

4minute’s four teachers have also been revealed, and as promised, they’re certainly handsome fellows.

JL Lim, who appeared as the girls’ Taiwanese instructor, is a model in Taiwan, and gave the girls tips on entering the Taiwanese market.

Hikumichi Nori, their Japanese teacher, has an impressive background in composing, writing, and producing songs, and is also a member of a hip hop duo. He used his background in the industry to give the girls tips and know-hows on the Japanese market.

Kin Lin, who’s currently a student at Seoul University, is a Malaysian who dreams of becoming a pilot. He taught the girls about the various unique charms about Malaysian culture and daily life.

Finally, Nichkhun’s brother, Nichan, will be meeting the girls in Thailand to embark on various missions that will teach the girls about Thai culture and life.

Nam JiHyun, aside from the other 4Minute members, rises as 'Idol who is pretty without make-up'

Minute's leader Nam JiHyun revealed her face without make-up.

E Channel's real variety show '4Minute's Mr. Teacher' raided 4Minute's current dormitory. The members of 4Minute showed off their bare faces confidently even though they were flustered after being caught defenseless by the production crew's surprise visit.

Amongst the members, Leader Nam JiHyun showed her shining bare face and earned recognition as 'The Idol with a pretty bare face'.

Meanwhile, a surprise hidden camera for 4Minute's maknae SoHyun had also taken place. While they were receiving foot massages, SoHyun shed tears because her Taiwanese tutor disguised him/herself as her foot massager. It's been said that because of SoHyun's sudden tears, the Taiwanese tutor could not hide his/her sorry heart.

Nichkhun's brother to teach 4minute about Thai culture!

4minute are learning Thai culture from Nichkhun's brother, Nichan.

Nichan is the older brother of Nichkhun, a member of a pop group named 2PM. Being featured with the famous 4minute on their upcoming hit TV show, "Mr. Teacher," (starting 1/19) will be his first major step into the Korean entertainment industry.

"4minute's Mr. Teacher" will feature the smash hit group, 4minute, as they travel around Asia. The girls will meet a handsome local from each country and the sexy guy will help the girls learn about that nation.

The four teachers who will wholeheartedly instruct the lovely girls of 4minute have extraordinary appearances. Taiwanese teacher, JL Lim, who is currently a major model in Taiwan, will give the girls the know-how to survive activities in Taiwan. Japanese teacher, Hikumi Nori (22), who is currently a songwriter, composer and producer in Japan, will give the girls lessons based around the Japanese music scene.

Finally, 4minute's Malaysian teacher, Lin (24) is currently a student in Seoul and dreaming of becoming a pilot. He will teach the girls the particularities and unique parts of Malaysian culture. And of course the girls will be learning from the hot issue known as Nichan, who, with his unibrown charms and sexy field laborer tan, has been garnering interest across the Net.

「Why」set to release on March 2nd

As we reported earlier, 4Minute will be releasing another single for a Japanese drama, "Akuto~Juuhanzai Sousa Han (悪党～重犯罪捜査班)". The drama is set to air on January 21, 2011.

Through the premier episode of the drama, viewers may be able to hear a glimpse of the song that will play as the opening theme, but the physical release of the drama is reported to be on March 2, 2011. Although it will be up for sale on March 2, the digital release hasn't been decided yet, so all of us can take a guess that it may be released earlier. Besides that, the single album will also be their 4th Japanese single and like others, it will also come in 3 versions.
