f(x) performs “Hot Summer” on Music Bank
Having done themselves proud with a winning “Pinocchio” run, the f(x) girls are back once more with follow-up promotions with their latest title track, “Hot Summer” to keep you cool this hot summer!
“Hot Summer” is a dance pop track from their repackaged album, and has an intense synthesized sound and beat, telling the story of girls who find romance in the days of summer.

f(x) releases music video + concept photos for “Hot Summer”!
f(x) had just thrilled fans with the release of their teaser video a few days ago, but now the full music video has been released!
f(x) revealed the full music video for their follow-up track “Hot Summer” through both their official homepage and SM Entertainment’s YouTube channel on June 17th.
“Hot Summer” is a dance pop track with an intense synthesized sound and beat, telling the story of girls who find romance in the days of summer. Fans have meanwhile pointed out that the song is likely to be a Korean remake of the original song of the same name by German pop girl group, Monrose.

Nichkhun and Victoria release their couple CF for ‘Caribbean Bay’
As previously reported, Nichkhun and Victoria were appointed as the 2011 models for popular water theme park, Caribbean Bay, and their first CF for the park has finally been released!
Since the two are widely loved as a couple for MBC’s “We Got Married“, they continued their sweet antics by leaping off a cliff in a beautiful waterfall setting, which then swiftly transitions into shots of them trying out the water park’s latest attraction, the ‘Aqualoop‘.

f(x) shares a group photo from “Hot Summer” rehearsal
On June 16th, f(x)’s Victoria shared a group photo from the rehearsal room.
The girls are preparing for their ”Hot Summer” comeback, and so this latest image upped the anticipation for the performance.
Writing through f(x)’s official Me2day, Victoria cheered, “Everyone, we are all rehearsing very hard so please give lots and lots of love towards ‘Hot Summer’! See you on Friday!”
Posing with the obligatory Asian victory sign, the girls are all dressed in comfortable attire as they pose for the camera. Netizens replied, “We’ll always be supporting you!”, “Everyone is posing so cutely”, “All so lovely”, and “The picture is blinding me with beauty!”
KARA’s Hara shares a morning selca
On June 16th, KARA’s Hara shared a sel-ca taken moments after waking up in the morning.
She tweeted, “I just woke up. Rolling around, I’m so tired. We’re going to Japan today to guest on ‘Music Station‘ tomorrow.”
Although she isn’t wearing any make-up in the picture, her doll-like features (like her big eyes and button nose) make her look just as adorable as ever.
Fans replied, “Ever the busy Hara”, “Such flawless skin”, and “I like seeing her not dolled up like this.”
KARA leaves for ‘Go Go Summer’ promotions in Japan
After successfully finishing their Korean fanmeet on June 11th, the 5 members of KARA – Park Gyuri,Han Seungyeon, Jung Nicole, Goo Hara, Kang Jiyoung – left for Japan on the 16th to promote their 4th single album, “Go Go Summer“.
Although “Go Go Summer” won’t be released until June 29th, KARA departed to Japan on the 16th to participate on broadcast programs and promote their upcoming single.
An official stated, “KARA plans to focus on Japanese activities to match the release of their new single. They will perform their new song on popular music programs like ‘Asahi TV‘’s ‘Music Station‘ and also meet with the local fans.”
The ‘green light’ is already on for KARA’s upcoming Japanese activities. Their new song “Go Go Summer” is already ranking #1 in pre-sale orders and Tower Records pre-rankings.
“Go Go Summer” is following KARA’s widely popular 3rd single, “Jetcoaster Love“, which was the first song amongst Korean girl groups to reach #1 on the Oricon Weekly charts.
Meanwhile on the same day, fellow Korean girl group SNSD also departed for Japan, having only just returned home from Paris yesterday (June 15th).
