T-ara’s Jiyeon decided to try out a new hairstyle by getting blunt bangs!

Seen making several cute expressions for the camera, it seems like the new bangs revitalized Jiyeon’s spirit. After all, who doesn’t feel good when they get a new haircut?

KARA’s Goo Hara recently assured fans that she’s been doing well, despite the hectic schedules she’s been laden with for KARA’s many projects.
On August 25th, Hara tweeted, “I feel a lot better now. I walked around all day today and now I’m going to work. But, isn’t the weather today wonderful?“.

It was revealed on August 25th that KBS is planning to launch season 2 of its popular variety program, “Invincible Youth“, this coming fall.
The PD of the first season, Kim Ho Sang, will reprise his director’s megaphone once again. He revealed, “We are now in the planning stages for season 2 and are aiming for broadcast this coming fall.”
The original concept revolved around idol girl group members and their experience on living and surviving in rural Korea. Season 1 was shot outside of Uchi-ri in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do.
PD Kim added, “Because we are still planning, we are undecided on whether to stay in Uchi-ri or find a new place to film. But it’s most likely we will have new cast members for this second season.”
The first season ended in December of 2010.
MBC’s Chuseok special, ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships‘, is back for the third time, and they’ve just revealed the line-up of its participating idols.
The first recording will be held on August 27th at the Jamsil main stadium. Idols in attendance includeSuper Junior, SHINee, SISTAR, miss A, Davichi, ZE:A, T-ara, MBLAQ, G.NA, INFINITE, Hwanhee,and more, making up a total of a 140-150 member cast.
2AM’s Jo Kwon, whose athleticism earned him the nickname ‘Kkap Bolt’, is unfortunately unable to attend due to an overseas schedule. Boom, who recently was discharged from the army, will be joining the show as an MC alongside other MBC anchormen and track & field MCs.
Competitions include the 50m race, co-ed high jump, co-ed 50m hurdle, co-ed 400m relay, and others. The special will air on September 13th, one day after the Chuseok holiday.
Comprised of 9-10 tracks, it looks like their third album contains all-new original songs. The limited edition of “Step” will include a bonus track and a 32-page booklet.

Super Junior’s Shindong gave his fellow ‘Shim Shim Tapa‘ DJ, KARA’s Park Gyuri, a cool birthday present (which unfortunately was three months late).
On Auguest 23rd, MBC FM’s ‘Shindong and Park Gyuri’s Shim Shim Tapa‘ posted a picture through their official Twitter, along with the message, “Gyuri DJ, who finally, after 3 months, received her birthday present from Dong DJ!! He gave it really late, but it is pretty. Gyuri must be happy!!”
In the picture, Gyuri smiles brightly while holding a plastic case that contained a cute Lego-shaped watch.
Gyuri retweeted the post, adding, “Dong-oppa gave it to me >_<”.

Girl group KARA will be traveling to France to prepare for the launch of their very own perfume!
Management agency DSP Media stated, “A perfume in their name is planned for a December release, and so KARA will be going to France on August 29th to see to production matters.”
KARA is said to be working directly with perfumers to create their fragrance. The group is under tight time constraints, as their new album ‘STEP‘ is also waiting in the wings to be released early next month.

In the video, Krystal, Sulli, Jiyoung, and Suzy posed with comical expressions in front of the camera as they fooled around.
