[News] T-ara’s Hyomin and Co-Ed’s Chanmi power through shaky M! Countdown

On today’s episode of ‘M! Countdown’, T-ara’s Hyomin and Co-Ed’s Chanmi were the MCs, and unfortunately, there were problems from the start.

First of all, Chanmi had a faulty mic. When she tried to talk in the opening speech, no sounds were coming out, but she didn’t seem to notice and continued to diligently speak.

The broadcasting accidents did not stop here, as when Hyomin was introducing 2AM, she accidently called their new song ‘Because You Didn’t Pick Up My Calls’, instead of ‘You Didn’t Pick Up My Calls’.

Nevertheless, despite the errors, they still remained relaxed, and the show continued smoothly, deeply impressing viewers.

[News] 4minute will make a korean comeback in november

Chic korean group 4Minute will be making their comeback and releasing a new album in Korea at the end of November. The girls of 4Minute have been very busy in japan promoting their first original Japanese singleFirst/Dreams come true.

It is unclear as to when the girls will wrap up their activities in Japan, but it is official that they will be releasing an album in Korea late in November. With many comebacks this month of November, this will surely be another addition to a great month in Korea and to Kpop music.

[News] 4minute to make a comeback in Korea!

Popular idol group 4minute will be making their Korean comeback with a brand new album at the end of November.

The ladies of 4minute have been quite busy promoting their 3rd Japanese single, ‘First.’ Since it’s unclear when they will wrap up their Japanese promotions, they will release their comeback album in late November at the earliest.

It appears that many of Korea’s representative girl groups – including 4minute, SNSD, KARA, and T-ara– will be making their comebacks before the end of the year. Looks like it’ll be a head-to-head battle between the girls for the top of the charts!

[News] Big Bang, 2NE1, KARA, 4minute, Brown Eyed Girls and more gather for SEOUL TOKYO MUSIC FESTIVAL 2010

Top Korean groups Big Bang, KARA, 4minute, 2NE1, FTIsland, CNBlue, Brown Eyed Girls, U-KISS, Rainbow, and Teen Top gathered in Japan to perform for the “Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2010.”

The event was held earlier today at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. This event was a collaboration between Korean broadcasting channel SBS and Japanese broadcasting channel TBS in celebration of SBS’s 20th anniversary. The performances from this event will air on SBS on November 12th as a special episode, along with a 3-D production of the concert. TBS will air this concert at a later date in December.

SS501’s very own Park Jung Min was the MC for the event and reports state that the event was a major success. Check out some of the photos from the press conference below.

KARA commented, “We will do our best in both Japan and Korea!”
Big Bang commented, “We are honered to be chosen as an artist representing Korea. Please support us!”

A very awesome event, we’ll have to wait until the 12th for it to air on SBS.

Sulli‘s lovely smile is winning the hearts of boys in Hong Kong?

Photos of f(x) members visiting Hong Kong have recently been revealed on a Hong Kong fansite. In a photo from the airport, Sulli’s mini face appeared in the crowd. Although she’s standing in a crowded place, she still managed to shoot a smile to everyone! While in another photo, Sulli wore a pink hairband, white collar, and was holding a cup of pearl milk tea, again showing her big smile to the camera with a ‘V’ sign.

Even Korean netizens can’t stop praising Sulli’s mesmerizing smile. Everyone wishes to have a cute smile like Sulli, don’t you?

[News] 2nd Special of ‘Playful Kiss’ revealed through Youtube

MBC’s ‘Playful Kiss‘ came to an end on the 21st of October. The drama went against some tough competition and suffered in the ratings department. Despite that, the show grew a small die-hard fan base and they were quite disappointed to see the show end so soon. However, that disappointment was somewhat turned around when there was news stating that Playful Kiss would continue airing via special episodes through video sharing website Youtube. The announcement also mentioned that it will have a different storyline than the TV version!

Yesterday, the 1st special was uploaded to Youtube and now the 2nd special was revealed :

Kim Hyun Joong stated, “Since Youtube doesn’t have strict restrictions, we were able to show a steamier love scene than on television. I believe that the couple will look more natural than on TV. Youtube is a place where netizens of the entire world can share and communicate. I hope ‘Playful Kiss’ can participate in the phenomenon and become an international icon.”

Meanwhile, the special episodes of Playful Kiss will be divided into seven different videos, about 10 minutes each. With the first 2 episodes being uploaded, you’ll have to wait until next week to view the next episode. These episodes will be posted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

On the 17th and 18th, making-of films including special NG cuts will also be released!
