Kang Min Kyung shows a mature look for ‘Arena’

Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung recently unveiled a more mature look for ‘Arena‘s October issue.

Concerning comments about how sexy she is looking these days, Kang Min Kyung shared, “Because people keep saying that, I keep feeling the need to become a pretty person. I also start to exercise hard. Although it makes me feel good, it is still awkward [hearing that].”

Kang Min Kyung, who has been gaining more recognition for her vocal talents since ‘Immortal Song 2‘, also opened up about her pre-diet days stating, “At the time, even though I practiced til I coughed out blood, the only response that I received was comments about how I gained weight. Whether it is bad or good, I wanted to hear constructive criticism about my performances.”

An ‘Arena’ representative revealed, “After filming her drama, she traveled all the way to Busan and conducted the photo shoot since early morning, but despite the long day, she was still able to show her mature sensuality through her gestures and facial expressions.”

In other news, Kang Min Kyung is currently starring in the drama, ‘Haeundae Lovers‘.

Chuseok special ‘Miss and Mister Idol Korea’ to feature 16 idol groups

This Chuseok, MBC will be airing a new special, ‘Miss and Mister Idol Korea‘ on October 1st, featuring members of 8 girl groups including KARA, 4minute, SECRET, Orange Caramel, A Pink, and more, as well as members of 8 boy groups including 2PM, INFINITE, MBLAQ, ZE:A, and others.

The preliminary rounds will feature the idols in formal dresses and suits, and the idols themselves twill decide on who continues into the next round by voting themselves on the program. The girls dazzled in their beautiful dresses, and the boys impressed with their clean-cut suits, as all of the idols participated in dance performances and sweet “proposals” to capture each other’s hearts.

An interesting aspect of the show is that it features individual rounds and competition, as opposed to the usual group efforts. 2PM’s Taecyeon and MBLAQ’s G.O are said to have gone into a competitive “clothes-ripping battle” to see who could rip off the other’s clothes faster.

The girls also participated in a “no-rule” game of basketball, allowing them to use whatever fouls they could. ‘Reply 1997‘ star and A Pink member Eunji also battled it out with After School‘s Lizzy insatoori (dialect), as the two are both from Busan.

Luna talks about her ‘Immortal Song 2′ experience

f(x)‘s Luna, who recently revealed that she will be departing from KBS‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘, met with the reporters of Star Newsbefore her 마지막 recording on the show as a fixed member and shared her생각 on 만드는 her exit.

She revealed,“Through 쇼, 기분 like 사람들이 are recognizing me as a singer who loves the stage and sings for it. I 수 없었던 to show everything I have in the 여섯 번 I've performed on 쇼, but I will continue to 단계를 수행 forward as a singer.”

T-ara releases preview for Japanese "Day By Day"

Currently busy with 자신의 “Sexy Love” comeback, girl 그룹 T-ara will be 이동 forward with 또 다른 promotions by releasing a Japanese version of 는 previous 히트 track, “날마다”.
