Onew is the only SHINee member who didn’t kiss Dara?

Onew of popular Hallyu group SHINee revealed that he is the only member of SHINee who has yet to film a kiss scene with 2NE1‘s Dara.
On Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2′, the SHINee members had a discussion about an advertisement for a beauty product (Etude House‘s new line of lipsticks) with the popular 2NE1 member. Onew explained that during the filming, he was feeling unwell and could not film the planned kiss scene. Fellow SHINee member Key even poked fun at Onew by joking, “Onew didn’t even get to see Sandara Park.”
The advertisement in question was filmed with a concept called “Kiss Note”. In the scene, Dara writes the names of the SHINee members in a ‘kiss note’, and each member magically appears and gives her a kiss.
This episode of the ‘Beatles Code’ also featured the SHINee members creating their own ‘kiss notes’. As they were writing the notes, the boys displayed their shy and bashful nature by sheepishly covering their notes with their left hands.
Don’t forget to catch the episode when it airs on April 5th at 9:00PM KST!

T-ara to announce their member changes on April 6th

Core Contents Media previously announced that T-ara would be undergoing extensive member changes this month. CEO Kim Kwang Soo dropped several details since then, and previously stated April 7th as their announcement date. However, it seems, CCM has decided to move up the announcement date to April 6th.
Fans have been holding their breaths for what’s to come, especially since T-ara has been on a tremendous roll these past two years with hits after hits under their belt. Fans need not wait much longer, as everything will finally be settled on April 6th.
To recap if you haven’t been keeping up, there’s a chance of the group losing members, as well the chance of adding two new members to bring up the member total to nine. Kim Kwang Soo stated previously, “When I look back on my 30 years of experience in discovering new talent, by their third year they become full of themselves, and lazy.  If they are not always on the edge of their seat and working hard, and think that they can just get by with what they already have, they will not be able to beat the competition.  I have seen many singers become complacent because of their pride.  For the members who have no singing ability and do not work hard, I will not give them parts [in the songs].”
He revealed that the purpose is not to just aimlessly take people out, and add others, but to implement a competitive strategy so that those who work hard and display their talents will be given more activities and opportunities, while those who sit back and “think highly of themselves” will not receive more opportunities.
However, most industry officials believe that rather than taking out members, there will be an addition of members to reform T-ara as a nine member group.
An official of Core Contents Media commented, “We can’t confirm anything right now. We originally planned to make the announcement on the 7th, but we have instead decided to pull it up to the 6th. We will reveal everything then.”
Stay tuned for the announcement tomorrow!

New details surface regarding T-ara’s member changes

Following the news that Core Contents Media would be announcing T-ara‘s new changes on April 6th, more details have surfaced from sources within the agency.
According to Review Star, a representative of Core Contents Media told them over the phone, “It’s true that T-ara will become a nine member group. Two members will be added, and we will reveal the details on April 6th.”
With the addition of two members, the current seven member group will become a nine member group. The only other nine member group at the moment is Girls’ Generation, and has thus, caused many questions to surface about whether this change is to further compete against Girls’ Generation.
There is also speculation that the two member addition was decided on after seeing the group’s potential in the Japanese market, and in hopes to further increase their reputation.
Earlier on March 14th, CEO Kim Kwang Soo had stated, “In April, there are big potential member changes for T-ara.” Having talked about taking out members within the group, many had wondered just what kind of change would be taking place. With his elaboration on the issue of removing members, fans and industry officials were surprised to hear that the member changes would not consist of swapping out original members, but instead adding new members.
The source within the agency also revealed, “The new member(s) that will be added are trainees within the agency. There was a previous speculation that they would join Co-Ed, but that’s not true.”
Stay tuned for the official announcement on April 6th!
