KARA’s Jiyoung confirmed for female lead role in upcoming drama, “Rainbow Rose”

In late October, DSP Media had announced that that KARA‘s Jiyoung was a prospective candidate for the female lead role of a drama. Her agency recently came forth to confirm that the group’s youngest member will indeed be the female lead of the upcoming Korean-Japanese drama, “Rainbow Rose“.

On November 29th, DSP Media revealed, “Kang Ji Young has been confirmed for the female lead of ‘Rainbow Rose’. She is currently in Korea filming for the drama.” “She’s been filming since the beginning of November, but we only announced the official news now because at the time, the production staff were still in the midst of confirming the cast list,” they said. “Rainbow Rose” is a youthful melodrama and is scheduled to air its pilot episode in April of next year.

It was reported that Kang Ji Young was chosen for the role due to her rising popularity through KARA’s promotions in Japan. DSP Media stated, “As there are still things we need to discuss with the producers, it’s difficult for us to give concrete details at this time.”

On November 29th, 4minute‘s HyunA and B2ST‘s Hyunseung shocked their fans with a racy stage at the ‘2011 MAMA‘ in Singapore — a stage that included a long, steamy kiss.

HyunA and Hyunseung brought out a risque performance to introduce their new project duo, ‘Trouble Maker‘. Dressed up in evening gowns and suits, the two danced provocatively against a moon-lit background.

Fans went wild over their very intimate choreography, which had Hyunseung touching HyunA’s legs, HyunA jumping onto Hyunseung and wrapping her legs around his waist, and finishing off with a passionate embrace.

在今天11月29号于Mnet电视台放送的颁奖典礼“2011 MAMA”当中，Beast 张贤胜 与 4Minute 泫雅 出席了在位于新加坡新室内体育馆举行的颁奖典礼“2011 MAMA”。

T-ARA 明天30日公开“LOVEY DOVEY”预告视频？！

女子组合 T-ara 将会在明天11月30号中午左右通过GomTV首次公开第二部分的音乐视频“Lovey Dovey”。


在得知 车胜元 是杀死 智研 的父亲以后，这次公开为时大约17分20秒的音乐视频将会讲述事实之后发生的故事。“Lovey Dovey”是由新沙洞老虎和崔圭成作曲家一起创作的歌曲，俩人在最近欧美流行的club音乐中加入了强烈的电子音乐节奏，这也将会是“Bo Peep Bo Peep”与“Roly-Poly”之后的第3部作品。


T-ara 成员们将会在“Lovey Dovey”展现出与“Cry Cry”时期有着180度转变的形象。这也间接提高了读者们的期待度。


目前，T-ara 正在日本忙于第二张单曲“Ya Ya Ya”的宣传活动，另一方面也将会在回来继续“Cry Cry”的宣传工作。

T-ara is very busy according to Hyomin!

T-ara's leader, Hyomin shared new photos on her Twitter account on the 29th of this month.

She not just shared the photos above but she reveals that T-ara is very busy.

"2nd Japanese single promotions, Lovey dovey MV filming, and cry cry. Very busy and tiring but I'll think gratefully of this while smiling, let's enjoy it!" Hyomin wrote and attached the photos above.

Moreover, T-ara departs for Japan today for the promotion of YaYaYa.

In addition, YaYaYa will have a dance version Music Video.

It is pretty obvious that these girls are really busy but lets hope that they still have time to relax and enjoy their life despite of having a hectic schedule.

It was revealed that girl group T-ara will have a new variety show and will be called "Pretty Boys for T-ara".

The concept is interesting because T-ara will look for a handsome photographer and there will be a prize for the winner.

KARA tops the Oricon Weekly Album Charts, breaks 30-year record

KARA released their second album, “Super Girl“, on November 23rd, and, after debuting at #1, topped the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking by selling 275,000 in its first week!

This is KARA’s second time to top the charts, as their 3rd single, “Jet Coaster Love” reached first back in April. With this achievement, KARA has become the newest foreign female group to dominate both the single and album rankings.

The record was previously set over thirty years ago by The Nolans with their single, “I’m in the Mood for Dancing“, and the LP, “Gotta Pull Myself Together“.

Until now, the highest position that KARA claimed with their albums was 2nd place with “KARA BEST 2007-2010” and “Girl Talk“.

Additionally, the girls have set a new record for their first week sales, and has become the top selling foreign female group. Their sales have surpassed Shoujo Jidai‘s “GIRL’S GENERATION” of 232,000 copies.

KARA’s album, “Super Girls”, features a total of 13 songs including “Jet Coaster Love”, “GO GO Summer!“, and “Winter Magic“.

4minute’s Jihyun posts a picture of herself as a dancer

4minute‘s Jihyun posted a picture of herself in a dance leotard in the past. On November 28th, Jihyun tweeted the black & white photo above and wrote, “This was me practicing to enroll in the dance major. Haha”

In the photo, Jihyun’s dressed in a classic black leotard, exposing her back and legs. Netizens wrote,“She was different from those days. Her body is as nice as it is now”, “The way she dances is very special. She is the definition of gracefulness.”

Jihyun is currently on a leave of absence from Sang Myung University’s dance major.

T-ara to depart for Japan to begin ‘YAYAYA’ promotions

T-ara‘s second Japanese single ‘YAYAYA‘ will be released on the 30th, and the girls will be traveling to Japan on the 29th to officially begin their Japanese promotions. The girls will be capturing their Japanese fans with a new, cute indian-girl concept.

In the past, T-ara has been the first Korean girl group to rank #1 on both daily and weekly charts in Japan with their debut album, ‘Bo Peep Bo Peep‘, garnering the attention of Japanese and Korean fans alike.

The members are currently promoting in both countries, having to continuously travel back and forth. According to their agency, out of the 7 weekdays, the girls will be promoting 3 days in Korea and 4 days in Japan, keeping them extremely busy until early next year.

近日女子组合 T-ara 成员 智研 表示道已经成婚的演员 李天熙 是她的理想类型。


在昨天11月27号于MBC电视台放送的节目“SectionTV演艺通信”当中 T-ara 成员 智研 在节目当中提起了关于 Wonder Girls 成员们的恋爱禁令解开以后，智研 说道“我们也想要尽快开始约会。”


为此，主持人问及 智研 的理想型，智研 选择了演员 李天熙 表示道“是李天熙前辈，我已经在节目上说了大约有5，6次，但是一次也还没有接收到回复。拜托回复吧。”素妍 回复 智研 说道“如果他回复了或许会给你留下伤痕。”表示 李天熙 已经结婚了，是一位有妇之夫。

T-ara will release the Japanese version Yayaya dance version MV very soon,check out the teaser below!

T-ara to reveal their "Lovey Dovey" teaser tomorrow!

T-ara will reveal their teaser for the second part of their music video "Lovey-Dovey" on the 30th.

After finding out about Cha Seungwon killing Jiyeon's father, "Lovey-Dovey", which is 17 minutes and 20 seconds long, will explain what happens afterward.

"Lovey-Dovey" was composed by Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Kyusung who made the song with a club beat popular in Europe and the United States but also with electronic sounds. It's the third in the "Bo Peep Bo Peep" and "Roly-Poly" series.

T-ara will show a 180-degree change for "Lovey-Dovey" much like they did with their neutral "Cry Cry" appearance.

T-ara are currently in Japan promoting their second Japanese single "yayaya" and will come back later this week to continue their Korean "Cry Cry" promotions. In addition to that, the members are also active in dramas and variety shows like MBC's "We Got Married".

T-ara will begin promotions for "Lovey-Dovey" on January 1st.

KARA's Jiyoung transforms into audio director

KARA's maknae Kang Jiyoung has shifted career and transform into cute audio director.

On November 28th, she uploaded a photo through her Twitter with caption, "I pretended like an audio director. I’m going to go to bed now.. zZ.. snoring"

In the attached photo, Jiyoung can be seen wearing a headset while working with the sound facilities. She looks really focused with her eyes wide open and unconciously giving off awkward yet adorable expressions.

trouble Maker set for 1st show on Music Bank

Cube Entertainment's newly-formed duo unit, Trouble Maker will be making their debut performance on KBS Music Bank on December 2nd.

Trouble Maker, which comprised of 4minute's HyunA and B2ST's Hyunseung, will get the private party started with their self-titled mini album "Trouble Maker". The album features collaboration with Shinsadong Tiger andRado and will also contain both dance and ballad tracks that diplay Hyunseung's vocals and HyunA's rapping skills.

The duo stirs attention for the hot and seductive scenes on their music video teaser released earlier. Fans are now getting wild as they anticipate for their epic debut.
