SHINee's Key dyes hair on his won!

In the latest episode of "SHINee One Fine Day" broadcasted on April 02 on MBC,SHINee's Key made ​​the viewers surprised with his self hair-dying.

Baek Ji Young sells out solo showcase in Japan

Ahead of her official debut, singer Baek Ji Young displayed immediate success by selling out herupcoming first exclusive showcase in Japan.

According to local Japanese media outlet, tickets to Baek Ji Young’s debut showcase “Premium Night” in Tokyo on May 1 were completely sold out as soon as they were made available.

The exclusive showcase will be held at the Akasaka Blitz Hall in Tokyo to celebrate her Japanese debut with fans. Baek Ji Young is set perform Japanese versions of “Don’t Forget,” “I Won’t Love” and “That Woman”.

An official from Japan said, “It is a very rare case for a Korean female soloist to grow so popular in Japan. Her popularity in Japan is just amazing.”

In the run-up to ticket sales, she teased for her upcoming album through a two-minute video for the Japanese version of her single ‘That Woman’.

Davichi heats up the charts with “Be Warmed”

Their latest song, “Be Warmed” swept the top spot on music charts as soon as it was released.

Not even a month ago, they also swept the charts with “Turtle” and “Just The Two Of Us“. They’ve really proved themselves as the queens of the music charts, as earlier today they had 3 songs onMelon‘s Top 10 real time chart including “Be Warmed” at 1st, “Turtle” at 4th, and “Take a Drink Together” at 10th.

Davichi stated, “We made the songs by working hard with the composers and staff for 7 months, but we didn’t know we’d receive this much love. We promise to do our best on stage.”

Their label commented, “‘Be Warmed’ is a song that matches Spring, so we released it in April with the arrival of Spring, instead of when we released their album.”

SHINee's Onew funny eating pose,"Really passionate in eating"

SHINee's Onew eating pose has become a hot topic

SHINee' Onew, Jonghyun, Taemin, Key recently went to recording MBC's 'Weekly Idol', and a few photos from the recording were revealed, especially Onew' photos have attracted much attention.

In those photos, he's seen eating fried chicken in the studio. In particular there's this one photo, while the other were talking with Hyungdon and Defcon, Onew seemed to only concern about eating. He was even kneeling in front of the table, one hand was grabbing the chicken leg and passionate eating with his mouth wide opened, made the whole picture was like from a comedic scene.

Netizen commented,"He's really a chicken maniac","Look at him eating makes me want to eat chicken too","Onew's so funny", and so on.

f(x) draws American media's attraction through 'Funny or die'

On March 28, America's popular online comedy channel "Funny Or Die" aired a 4 minutes 30 seconds episode featuring actress Anna Kendrick and K-pop group f(x).

The content of this episode is about a movie star of "Pitch Perfect", Anna Kendrick who wanted to become a global star joined super-group of K-Pop, f (x).

The members of f(x) were praised for their natural acting and fluent English. F(x) and Anna Kendrick also created a music video together for the hit song "Electric Sock", attracted a lot of attention.

As soon as the episode was aired, many U.S media such as Entertainment Tonight, USA Today were very interested in that special episode.

SHINee’s Onew kneels down for chicken on ‘Weekly Idol’

Onew proved that for chicken, he had no problem kneeling down!

The boys of SHINee recently filmed for MBC Every1‘s ’Weekly Idol‘. Weekly Idol’s official Twittertweeted, “For now, just pass Onew since he’s busy in his dining room~” and posted a set of pictures of Onew chomping down on chicken as the rest of the SHINee members keep themselves busy conversing with the MCs.

In the first set of photos, Onew goes through the chicken like a normal person, sitting down on the chair and eating normally.

However, he must have decided that the desk was too uncomfortable, because he went down to the ground on his knees so he could devour it more easily.

Onew’s love for Chicken is well known by his fans and you can view his chicken antics over the years in the video below:

Sungmin to step down as a DJ from ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio’

Super Junior‘s Sungmin will be stepping down from his DJ position on ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio‘ at the end of this week.

He’s been running the show with Ryeowook since December 2011 after Leeteuk and Eunhyukstepped down. But since he’ll be playing the main character in the musical ‘Summer Snow‘ starting in mid-April, he decided to step down as a DJ.

After Sungmin’s leave, Ryeowook will be running the show by himself, but he’ll have featured guests to fill up Sungmin’s empty spot. Super Junior has been DJing for ‘Kiss the Radio’ since 2006, so it’s nice that Ryeowook is staying to continue the name!

TVXQ, Big Bang and 2PM nominated for ‘MTV VMAJ 2013’

Hallyu groups TVXQ, Big Bang and 2PM have been nominated for awards in MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2013 (VMAJ).

MTV Japan recently released the nominations for the 16 categories of the ‘12th VMAJ 2013’ on the official VMA homepage. Amongst the nominations were TVXQ, Big Bang and 2PM.

TVXQ have been nominated for the ‘Best Group Video Award’ for their song “Catch Me -If you wanna”. Big Bang was also nominated for the ‘Best Dance Video Award’ with its music video for “Fantastic Baby” while 2PM was nominated for ‘Best Album of the Year’ with its album, ‘Legend of 2PM’.

Meanwhile, 2PM previously won the ‘Best Group Video Award’ at the VMAJ 2012.

Super Junior’s Sungmin to leave ‘Kiss the Radio’

It has been revealed that Super Junior’s Sungmin will be leaving his DJ spot on KBS 2FM’s ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio.’

Since December 2011, Sungmin and fellow member Ryeowook worked as DJ at ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio.’ However, Sungmin decided to leave the radio program after April 7th due to his musical schedule for ‘Summer Snow’ in Japan. 

Ryeowook will be hosting the show with help from other artists. Somebody from SM Entertainment or another star will also be taking over the show while Ryeowook is absent during the group’s Super Show tour.
