KARA’s Seungyeon shows beautiful look in Hanbok



Casting for her first acting role in the upcoming SBS TV’s drama ‘Jang Ok Jung’, KARA’sSeungyeon showed her beautiful look in a traditional Hanbok.

On March 18, Seungyeon updated her Twitter, “Before and after the press conference. I was so nervous, and I don’t even remember what I said”, and uploaded two photo of herself looking gorgeous in her traditional Hanbok.

Seungyeon will be casting as Kim Tae Hee’s rival and royal concubine Choi. She will be vying forYoo Ah In’s love against Kim Tae Hee. ‘Jang Ok Jung’ will premiere on April 8th.

Super Junior and SHINee release Google+ Hangout session



For those who didn’t get to join the event, full footage of Super Junior and SHINee’s recent Google+ Hangout session have been revealed through SM Entertainment official Youtube channel.

SHINee held an online fan meeting through Google+ video chat service, ‘Hang Out’ at CGV Incheon airport branch on March 8th. The special event was streamed live through SMTOWN’s official YouTube channel and A-Pop channel.

Super Junior also held a live chat in Jakarta, Indonesia on March 10 where they interacted with the fans as well as revealed their forthcoming world tour “SUPER SHOW 5”.

MBLAQ’s G.O and Mir release “I Am A Fool” MV for ‘IRIS 2’ OST



MBLAQ’s G.O and Mir participated in the soundtrack for KBS ‘IRIS 2’ in support of fellow member, Lee Joon who is starring in the drama.

On March 20th, G.O and Mir released the drama’s fifth OST track “I Am A Fool” through various music sites. Both of them are said to have participated in the production of the rock ballad with the new producing team, Avengers.

KARA's Seungyeon Explains about 'Gundam Mania'



KARA member Han Seungyeon clarified herself being a a Gundam mania.

Han Seungyeon is known as a Japanese animation mania but seems there it is being misunderstood by many. Seungyeon tweeted "Is it an inaccuracy? I am not a Gundam mania, I dont event watch a lot and also, I dont know Japanese voice actors well as what you guys think. It is simply not me, I guess someone translated it to please everyone and became an issue." she explained. 

It seems everyone is exaggerating her hobby of watching anime, and Seungyeon is not please to know that.

f(x) recently performed as the representative K-pop artists at the ‘SXSW‘ event, and they now seem to be gearing up for their comeback with choreographer Kevin Maher.

SHINee’s Onew apologizes for giving middle finger



SHINee’s Onew is currently under fire for giving the middle finger during a radio broadcast.

On March 18, SHINee members appeared on MBC radio program ‘Younha’s Starry Night’. Before the broadcast began, Onew was spotted on the screen giving the middle finger to the other SHINee members. Although it was merely a joke, his gesture met with mixed reactions from the public.

With the heated attention of netizens, SM Entertainment has responded to issue. A representative stated, “Before the broadcast began, the members were fooling around and the problematic scene was captured on camera. Onew is very apologetic and promises he will not repeat it again.”

SM Entertainment responds to criticisms against Onew giving the middle finger


With the heated attention of netizens on SHINee‘s Onew after seeing the idol giving the middle fingerduring a radio broadcast, SM Entertainment has responded to the criticisms.
As mentioned before, on the March 18th broadcast of ‘Younha’s Starry Night‘, the SHINee members featured as guests, and during the introduction segment, Onew’s hand was spotted on the screen during the filming of the radio program. This led many to express their disappointment and question why the idol had given the middle finger when cameras were rolling.
Although it turns out Onew and his members were just playing around before they officially started their talk segments on the radio program when the hand gesture came about, SM Entertainment didn’t make any excuses and simply commented, “Whatever the reason is, it was the wrong thing to do. Onew is self-reflecting. He will be more careful in the future.”

Davichi’s “Take A Drink Together” tops music charts


After beating the competition with “Turtle“, talented singing duo Davichi have been dominating with another new song from their 2nd album ‘Mystic Ballad 1990‘. Fans must have missed the singers as their first full-length album in five years has been doing great on music charts.
Davichi released their title track “Take A Drink Together” along with the follow-up tracks from their new album on the 18th. Immediately following the release of the title track, the song rose to #1 on Bugs, Melon, Soribada, and Cyworld Music.
Their 2nd full-length album ‘Mystic Ballad 1990′ will be released offline on the 20th.

Netizens take notice of SHINee’s Onew giving the middle finger during radio broadcast


Although there are those who pay no attention to the overly used middle finger, there are also those who take it as no laughing matter. Thus, it is not surprising that SHINee‘s Onew‘s recent appearance on a radio broadcast has sparked some criticism.
On the March 18th broadcast of ‘Younha’s Starry Night‘, Some of the SHINee members featured as guests to talk about their comeback and touch upon various subjects. Prior to the members’ introductions, their faces were not shown during this particular segment on camera, but netizens spotted someone giving his middle finger on screen. The color and print of the mystery man’s outfit later pointed the identity to Onew, raising eyebrows.
Netizens flocked to the comment boards and expressed their shock responding, “Since it is a radio broadcast that can be seen, it was careless of him to stick up the middle finger”, “Why is he doing that when he knows there is a camera?”, “I don’t know if it’s because Onew always had an innocent image, but I’m disappointed”, “Can it really be Onew?” and more.
However, there were others that came to his defense with comments like, “Isn’t he just joking around? He probably didn’t realize that could be seen”, “It seems like Onew was just playing around with his members”, “It might just be another sign that shows just how close he is with his members” and more.
As you know, this isn’t the first time that an idol star was criticized for giving the middle finger as of recently, as Jay Park previously received backlash for his Instagram picture.

Key proves he was born to be a celebrity through childhood photos


Key proved to everyone that he was born to be a celebrity.
SHINee fans are familiar with his endearment label of ‘diva Key’, and Key showed his fans that he’d been a ‘diva’ since he was a little child.
Key took to his his Instagram to share the childhood photos. In the photos, Key was striking a cool diva like pose while wearing sunglasses, contemplating with a hand to his cheek, and even singing into a toy microphone. He borrowed Lady Gaga‘s words to claim, “babe i was born this way“.
Even though Key was very young in the photos, you can see elements of his current personality in each photo.

Super Junior’s Sungmin cast for Japanese musical ‘Summer Snow’



Super Junior’s Sungmin has been cast as a lead for the Japanese musical ‘Summer Snow’.

‘Summer Snow’ is the Korean adaptation of the Japanese series of the same name that aired through TBS in the year 2000. The drama won the Best Drama Award at the Japan Academy Awards, and fans’ anticipation for the show is growing larger and larger.

In the musical, Sungmin will be casting as Jin Ha, who is taking care of his younger brothers after losing his parents because of an accident. The role will let Sungmin show off his warm side.

Sungmin made many achievements in Japan not only as a Super Junior member, but also got his talent as a musical actor widely recognized by casting in a number of different musicals including ‘Jack the Ripper’ and ‘Hong Gil Dong’.

‘Summer Snow’ will premiere in April at Osaka Amagasaki Concert Hall, and shows in Tokyo will start in May.

Davichi’s “Just the Two of Us” soars to the top of music charts



The duo of Davichi released their 2nd studio album ‘Mystic Ballad 1990’ and its title track “Just the Two of Us” instantly swept various major music charts in Korea upon its release.

The title track “Just the Two of Us” reached the number one spot on the Bugs, Melon, Soribada, Daum, Mnet, Monkey3 and Cyworld real-time music charts just hours after it was released on March 18th.

“Just the Two of Us” is an acoustic ballad song that features Vibe‘s Ryu Jaehyun’s style of music. It features poetic lyrics about the separation of two people, with Jang Shin Young and Sung Hoon starring in the music video.
