‘Monday Couple’ embrace one another during ‘Running Man’?

During the most recent episode of ‘Running Man‘, the ‘Monday Couple’ (Song Ji Hyo and Gary) teased fans with an unexpected hug.
During the “train survival” mission, the ‘Running Man’ members had to play a game where they had to group together to match the random number a staff member shouted. The members participating in this round were Song Ji Hyo, Gary, Yoo Jae SukJi Sung (special guest), and HaHa.
When the staff member called out “2″, Gary and Ji Hyo, without hesitation, went straight for each other and ended up in an embrace, while Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Sung chose one another. This left HaHa to be the odd one out, and thus, was eliminated from the train survival segment. Noticing Ji Hyo and Gary immediately grabbing for one another, Yoo Jae Suk commented, “You two always choose each other at times like this.
To this Gary stated, “There is only one person I need to seek out,” causing everyone including Ji Hyo to laugh.
Later on in the actual “race” portion of the show, Gary was also seen trying to protect Ji Hyo from the others at times, once again leaving viewers longing for the return of the Monday Couple.
Viewers commented, “The reunion of the Monday Couple?“, “I want to see the Monday Couple together again“, and “The Monday Couple is what makes ‘Running Man’ fun.
You can check out their interaction below at the 39:40 mark.

Why did Ailee show tears during her “I’ll Show You” performance?

During her comeback performance of “I’ll Show You” on ‘Inkigayo‘, Ailee surprised everyone by wiping away a few tears.
Seeing her a bit teary-eyed and even slightly wiping her eyes one time, viewers wondered if the song might have triggered bad memories for her, or if she had just gotten too absorbed with the lyrics of the song. With her worried fans asking questions, her label recently explained the situation, stating, “The stage was prerecorded. Ailee cried because the wind from the fan caused her hair to get into her eyes.
Finding out, fans couldn’t help but laugh at the unexpected reason, and commented, “I thought there was a serious reason” , “Wow that’s such a twist“, and “That made me laugh.

Super Junior will have no leader while Leeteuk is in the army

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk has barely over a week until his enlistment on the 30th.
In an interview, he brightly revealed, “Time really does fly. Just a few days ago, I told Donghae, ‘There’s only 13 days left’, and Donghae said, ‘Hyung, it’s 12 days.’ And now there’s about a week. I feel like I’ve experienced how time flies by so fast. I read that the world looks different according to how I think, so I’m trying to be optimistic.
Even though member Kangin had gone and come back from the army and Heechul is currently enlisted, Leeteuk’s absence from the group has a different meaning because he has been the team’s center as its leader.
When asked who would be the leader in his place, he laughed and answered, “The members are so good that I’m just going to leave. If I give the spot to someone else and he does it so well, I’m going to have no place to stand when I come back. I’m going to tell them that I trust them and just go. I’m a bit worried, of course. The worst case scenario would be seeing the team weaken when I’m gone. I think.. I think that’d be hard. But I trust the members. I believe they’ll do well.

2NE1 Bringing K-POP 'Girl Power' Stateside With will.i.am - Assisted Debut + Interview Video

As demonstrated by the undeniable success of overnight sensation Psyand his “Gangnam Style,” Korean pop music, otherwise known as K-pop, is certainly making its mark on American culture. And Psy isn’t the only one making a name for himself, as K-pop girl group 2NE1 (pronounced “twenty-one”) may be the next on the horizon for crossover success.

In just three short years, the group — CL, Dara,Minzy and Park Bom — has sold 27 million digital downloads, was voted MTV Iggy’s Best New Band in the World in 2011 and had their first American performance at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

MTV News recently caught up with 2NE1, and after sharing some surprising secrets about themselves, they revealed that they have been hard at work on their English-language debut album with none other than will.i.am.

We did a lot of studio sessions and we’ve been working on some songs, but we are waiting for the perfect song, the magical song,” CL said. “It was really fun and [will.i.am] invited us to his house studio and we just had fun making music and talking, just like we do back in Korea.”

2NE1, who are currently on their first ever New Revolution global tour, admit that they don’t have a timeline of when their debut album will be released, but CL said they hope to release “at least a single” by the end of the year. “I really want an English version of our song or whatever it is to have people connect to it,” she added.

The group, which credits the Spice Girls and TLC as their girl group influences, have become sensations in

Korea for their eclectic style, impressive rap skills and catchy songs.

Yet, they aren’t the only K-pop girl group gaining attention, Girls Generation and the Wonder Girls have also exploded onto the scene, but according to 2NE1, there is no competition between the different groups since they all bring something different to the K-pop scene.

“Korea right now is so passionate about music and about performing. I think people feel that, people really feel the energy and passion, and I think that’s what’s different,” CL said. “I love the fact that its girl power right now. It’s all girl groups that are rocking K-pop right now so I’m happy about that and I respect that we all have different characters of the groups.”

SHINee's appearance previewed on Happy Music!

On the 20th October, Happy Music released a 1min 30secs preview of SHINee's interview.

As the MCs entered the scene, the five shining boys could not hide their amusement with the unnaturally high voice of one of the MCs.

The curious maknae, Taemin, then proceeded to ask if it hurt the MC's throat to speak in such a high tone. Key, then did a surprising imitation and expressed that it did not hurt his throat at all.

The preview also revealed Jonghyun's answer to the question, "What is the one thing that the SHINee members must have to prepare for a live performance."

Jonghyun wrote down water and explained that he would drink it before every performance. He jokingly asked the MCs for a bit of water and the MCs played along by asking, "Would saliva do?"

The SHINee members could not hide their laughter upon seeing the variety skills of the Japanese MCs.

To find out more about what each SHINee member needs to prepare for a live performance, you'll have to wait for their full interview to be aired on 10th November on Happy Music!
