T-ara to have their comeback in May!

A great news for T-ara's fans to cheer.

T-ara's Eun Jung mentioned on KBS Saeng Saeng Entertainment that T-ara is currently preparing for their next album.They will advance to the Japan market soon too after their album release.

Fans only need to wait for another 2 months to see the girls on stage again,are you excited for the girls' comeback in May?

Lee Joon & T-ara's Jiyeon to dub 'Gnomeo & Juliet'

T-ara's Jiyeon and MBLAQ's Lee Joon will be trying out voice acting. Girls Generation's Taeyeon, Seohyun, Kara's Park Gyuri, Super Junior's Shindong are also participating in the voice dubbing for this animation. Their voices will be featured in the 3D animated movie 'Gnomeo and Juliet'. The English version is dubbed by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt.

This movie is about garden gnomes Gnomeo and Juliet who have as many obstacles to overcome as their quasi namesakes when they are caught up in a feud between both families as they fall in love (summary by Walt Disney pictures). This movie is directed by Kelly Asbury who also directed the worldwide box office sensation parody animation, 'Shrek 2'.

Nicknamed 'acting idols', Jiyeon and Lee Joon, play Juliet and Gnomeo respectively. Lee Joon is known for his appearance in the movie 'Ninja Assassin' as the role of young Rain (Jung Jihoon), Jiyeon was in drama 'God of Study', movie 'Death Bell 2', actively involved in acting for both dramas and movies.

Comedian Jung Juri plays Juliet's nanny who is a big-mouthed frog and is supportive of the two's love. Jung Juri expressed her thoughts about dubbing, "Lee Joon and Jiyeon are the perfect match as a comedy couple. I'm so envious of their chemistry together".

This movie will be out in theaters in April.

KARA spends second week at #1 on Oricon’s Composite DVD Chart, sets another record

Last week we announced that KARA’s DVD “KARA BEST CLIPS” entered Oricon’s Weekly Composite DVD Ranking at number one, selling around 132,000 copies. With this accomplishment they became the first ever foreign female artist to achieve this monumental feet.

Well, the girls have done it again and this week they’re spending their second consecutive week in the coveted number one spot on Oricon’s Weekly Composite DVD Ranking. KARA has sold approximately 158,000 copies of their DVD.

This means the girls have broken another record. Since the charts implementation in 1999, KARA is the first ever foreign artist to be number one for two consecutive weeks on Oricon’s Weekly Composite DVD Ranking.

4minute completes recording for their album, schedules comeback for April!

4minute has announced their official comeback for April!

A representative of Cube Entertainment spoke with TV Report on March 9th and revealed, “4minute recently completed recording for all their tracks on their next release. Right now, they’re busy wrapping up their preparations. Although the album is currently scheduled for release in the beginning of April, it may be moved up a week depending on circumstances.”

The girls’ comeback album is described to have kept 4minute’s ‘characteristic color’, but it’s got an added flair that will bring out an interesting transformation from the girls. Their representative continued,“4minute has their own unique color, so although their comeback won’t be extravagant change-wise, they will be showing a different side to their charms.”

They began filming for their music video on the 9th amidst final preparations for their choreography and stage performance. Maknae Sohyun gave fans a hint by tweeting, “Today is starting earlier than most days, and will be just as long~ Please give us your fighting energy~!!! We’ve been wondering how to spoil the surprise since a few days ago. Fighting!”

Their representative concluded, “We paid the most attention to the track selections. We’re sure that their comeback album will be another daebak that will set it apart from the girls’ previous releases.”

T-ara’s Jiyeon, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, & Jung Juri become voice actors for “Gnomeo and Juliet”

T-ara’s Jiyeon , MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and Jung Juri will lend their voices for the 3D animated film, “Gnomeo and Juliet“.

The two will be playing the leading roles of ‘Gnomeo’ and ‘Juliet’, respectively.

Fans are looking forward to seeing how these two ‘acting idols’ plan to bring their characters to life. Lee Joon has previous acting experience with “Ninja Assassin“, while Jiyeon has acted in a variety of dramas and movies, including “God of Study” and “Death Bell 2“. They also worked together for “Jungle Fish 2,” so many are expecting high quality work from the two.

Meanwhile, gagwoman Jung Juri will be voicing Juliet’s best friend, a frog by the name of ‘Nanette’. Although her character is a supportive one for the couple, the gagwoman expressed jealousy over Jiyeon and Lee Joon’s partnership. She commented, “Lee Joon and Jiyeon showed off how well they could work together as a comedy couple. I was very jealous over them.”

The movie will hit theaters this April.

IU, T-ara’s Jiyeon, and f(x)’s Luna to appear on ‘Come to Play’

Three ladies from the “‘93-line” will be appearing on MBC’s ‘Yoo Jae Suk & Kim Won Hee’s Come to Play‘.

Inkigayo’s new MC IU, Ms. ‘Juliet‘ Jiyeon, and ‘Legally Blonde‘ Luna recently appeared on ‘Come to Play’ and showed off their fresh wit.

The episode saw the three girls share an interesting fact about how they are best friends within the industry. The girls were joined by other celebrities who hilariously claimed to be their ‘uncle-fans’. Kim Tae Woo (who IU’s been a fan of ever since she was little), K.Will, B2ST’s Doojoon, and regular panelist Lee Ha Neul (of DJ DOC fame) all confessed that they were ‘uncle fans’.

This episode is sure to be a fun one, so don’t miss it when it airs on March 14th!

SBS’s “Welcome to the SHOW’” will air on March 16th

SBS’s highly-anticipated sitcom, ‘Welcome to the SHOW‘, has finally revealed its air date!

“Welcome to the SHOW” is a new style of sitcom that’s sure to draw in strong interest.

Revolving around the “Inkigayo” stage, the show focuses on behind-the-scenes events from the music program; in fact, these stories will be told so well that viewers will find it hard to differentiate between reality and fiction.

The show boasts a colorful cast comprised of 2AM’s Seulong, 2PM’s Nichkhun, f(x)’s Sulli, IU,Park Kwang Hyun, Kim Kwang Kyu, and Kim Jang Hoon. Seulong, Nichkhun, and Sulli will all play as themselves, but they’ve become the MCs of “Inkigayo”. The trio, in addition to IU, will be involved in cute love relationships.

Meanwhile, Kim Jang Hoon will be playing a singer named ‘Maestro’, and Kim Kwang Kyu will be playing as the manager. The episodes that develop between ‘Mae’ (who is petulant and arrogant) and his manager, (who is cautious not to anger his star singer) is anticipated to be both comedic and moving.

An 80-minute special episode of ‘Welcome to the SHOW’ will air on March 16th at 11:15pm.

SBS’s “Heroes” PD denies rumors of the show’s cancellation

The PD of SBS variety show program “Heroes” recently came forth to strongly deny all rumors about the show possibly coming to an end.

Kim Sang Bae CP of “Heroes” told Star News on March 9th, “There are no plans of canceling the show just yet.”

With KARA’s Nicole missing in action for three episodes in a row due to problems with her agency, as well as rumors of singer Seo In Young withdrawing from the cast, viewers became more speculative on the show finally coming to a close.

However, Park Sung Hoon PD stated, “Even with the spring reorganization, nothing will change. Nicole and Seo In Young will not be withdrawn from the cast. Seo In Young will still be participating in the recordings, and with Nicole’s problems between her group and their agency, it’s just difficult to confirm her commitment times for now, it doesn’t mean she’s leaving.”

T-ara Jiyeon and MBLAQ Lee Joon challenges for the voice acting.

They have participated in an animation dubbing with SNSD Taeyeon and Seohyun, K-ara Park Gyuri,
and Super Junior Shindong.

They will be dubbing for 3D animation movie ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’.

James McAvoy and Emily Blunt have taken a role in Eng version of dubbing for ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’.

The movie replaced ‘3 deungshin* dolls’ who only move when humans don’t see with basing the plot on
‘Romeo and Juliet”s basic plot about a man and woman from two enemy clans falling in love.

Kelly Asbury who directed a successful parody animation movie ‘Shrek 2’ produced this movie.

Jiyeon and Lee Joon who are known as ‘acting dols’ took roles in Juliet and Gnomeo.

Lee Joon had a prior experience of appearing in ‘Ninja Asassin’ as Rain (Jung Jihoon)’s younger character.
Jiyeon is doing acting activities and has acted in ‘God of Study’ and ‘Death Bell 2 ‘.

Comedian Jung Joori will act as a frog who is Juliet’s nanny and is the only one who supports their
love.

Jung Joori has stated her feelings about doing the challenge of voice acting by saying “Lee Joon and
Jiyeon showed off a perfect harmony. I was envious of their teamwork.”

The movie will be released in upcoming April.
