Motorcyclist involved in accident with Nichkhun said to have suffered head and back injuries

Following the news of 2PM‘s Nichkhun being booked for driving under the influence of alcohol, another report has surfaced stating that the motorcyclist has been injured.

As mentioned previously, on the morning of July 24th, Nichkhun was involved in a car accident with a motorcycle near the Hakdong four-way street. At the time of the accident, Nichkhun’s blood alcohol level was recorded at 0.056%, leading to a probable suspension of his driver’s license and an investigation with the police.

A witness at the scene who also followed the motorcyclist to the hospital reported, “The victim was on the floor, bleeding from his head. An ambulance rushed him to the emergency room at Kunkuk University Hospital.” He continued, “At the moment, he’s expressing severe pain in his shoulders and in his back.”

Currently, this statement and the level of injury has not been officially confirmed. All that has been reported by the police is that both parties have decided to settle this through the insurance companies, and Nichkhun returned home afterwards.

JYP Entertainment previously apologized for the accident and revealed that Nichkhun would comply with all investigations requested of him.

Kang Min Kyung learning Busan dialect for new role on ‘Haeundae Lovers’

It has been revealed that Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung is learning the Busan dialect from actress Lim Soo Hyang.

Kang Min Kyung will be playing a Busan girl in the new KBS 2TV drama ‘Haeundae Lovers‘ so she is learning how to speak the regional dialect in order to carry out her role.

The task of speaking in a Busan accent was burdensome for a Seoul girl like Kang Min Kyung. It just so happened that her friend Lim Soo Hyang is from Busan so she will be teaching Kang Min Kyung on how to play the part of a Busan woman. After watching the drama ‘New Tales of Gisaeng‘ last year, Kang Min Kyung called Lim Soo Hyang first and said, “We are the same age, but I have so much to learn from you. Let’s become friendlier with each other.”

“Haeundae Lovers’ will air its first episode on August 6th after the conclusion of ‘Big‘. Other actors starring in this series are Kim Kang Woo, Jo Yeo Jung, and Jung Suk Won.

Nichkhun releases promotional message for ‘Seven Something’

2PM‘s Nichkhun, who recently wrapped up the premiere of ‘Seven Something‘, has a message for fans and future, potential viewers of the film!

The movie is a project that commemorates the 7-year establishment of major Thai film company GTH, which is famous in Korea for films such as ‘Phobia2‘, ‘Hello Stranger‘, and ‘Bangkok Traffic Love Story‘.

The idea behind GTH’s 7th year anniversary project ‘Seven Something’ is that there is significant change in a person’s life every 7 years. Three different directors have worked together to create an ‘omniverse’ film about life and love.

Nichkhun, who plays the main character in the third story arc ’42.195′, displays abilities that one would not expect from a rookie actor. He plays an important role, helping main female lead ‘Sukwon’ find meaning and love in her life.

Super Junior members personally serve food to the audience of ‘Hello’

On the July 23rd special episode of KBS‘s ‘Hello’, Super Junior members Leeteuk, Eunhyuk,Ryeowook, Sungmin, and Kyuhyun delivered a show that catered to the audience members. After performing “Sexy, Free, and Single”, they listened to people’s stories of worry and agony and attempted to help them resolve their problems.

At one point, the members even announced to the audience, “We have prepared beef dduk galbi (a Korean dish composed of rice cake and marinated beef ) for everyone,” before proceeding to serve the large quantity of food to approximately 100 people.

The audience members, particularly the women, were touched by the gesture, as the members took the time to directly hand out the dduk galbi with care.

Actress Han Ji Min spotted filming for ‘Running Man’

Actress Han Ji Min has finally stepped foot on a variety program! After the completion of drama ‘Rooftop Prince‘ with co-star JYJ‘s Yoochun and having received much love, it seems the actress will be back to greet fans through a variety show appearance!

Fans spotted the actress filming for an upcoming episode of SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘, and she was seen with a few of the cast members while wearing a visible name tag on her back.

A representative of her agency, AM Entertainment, confirmed stating, “The recording for her appearance on ‘Running Man’ began on the 22nd in Jeju Island and is scheduled to continue today (23rd). Han Ji Min is currently enjoying filming with the ‘Running Man’ members.”

Many viewers are highly anticipating this upcoming episode as the actress is known to rarely appear on variety programs. They commented, “I can’t wait to see her interaction with the cast members“, “It would’ve been better if she guested on this episode with Yoochun“, “‘Running Man’ has the best guests!” and more.

Super Junior received pure gold as a gift from their Chinese fans

Super Junior shared a story about a few overseas fans who displayed their love and support with an unforgettable gift.

Members Eunhyuk, Shindong, Leeteuk, and Yesung guest-featured on the July 23rd episode of MBC TV‘s ‘Come To Play‘ and displayed their gratitude for their fans all over the world.

“Our Chinese fans who were upset that we did not win the ‘Golden Disc Award’ decided to make us one themselves,” Eunhyuk began. The fan-made Golden Disc Award was made of pure gold and worth close to $87,000 USD.

The guests who were shocked upon hearing their story became curious to know where the Golden Disc Award is kept. Leader Leeteuk then assured them it was being put to good use saying, “We used it to help the less fortunate in China.”

首尔江南警察署表示，Nichkhun在7月24日凌晨2点30分左右，在江南区鹤洞十字路口饮酒后酒驾途中撞到了一辆摩托车，已对其进行不拘留立案调查。 经纪公司消息称，当天Nichkhun与公司旗下所有歌手一起进行演出练习，结束后在所有成员参加的饭局上喝了两杯啤酒，然后在开车返回附近住处的途中，在鹤洞十字路口不慎与一辆摩托车发生碰撞。酒精测试结果显示，血液中酒精含量为0.056%，受到了吊销驾照的处罚。 

JYP娱乐的相关者透露“他本人以及公司都对此次由于疏忽而引发的错误行为表示道歉”，“将诚实配合警方进行必要的调查”。 Nichkhun在7月21日结束了在泰国为最大电影公司GTH的7周年纪念电影《Seven Something》进行的宣传活动刚刚回到韩国。

SHINee reflects on their growth and improvement over the years at the 'SHINee World 2' press conference!

Some skin exposure always works, as proven by Taemin who became a talking point at the SHINee World II press conference in Seoul, South Korea.

The five boys from Korean boyband SHINee met the media yesterday before their second show to share more on their new concert tour. xinmsn was one of the many Korean and international media present at the press conference and concert, upon invitation by Running Into The Sun (RITS).

Youngest member Taemin stole the limelight the moment he entered the room, dressed in a specially-designed top which revealed the right side of his upper body from the chest down.

Choosing to perform Korn's 'Get Up' for his solo stage to show his "inner side", one journalist jokingly asked if his costume was designed for that purpose too.

Taemin could not hide his embarrassment and explained that the outfit was brought over from their first Japanese arena tour. He elaborated on how he initially felt shy wearing the top, but has since gotten used to it.

However, now that he is back in Korea, he commented that "many Korean staff saw me in this and they were shocked, which made me shy again".

Having finished 20 shows in Japan, SHINee reflected on how much they have grown as Jonghyun said, 'Performing in front of so many fans, we learned how to give and take the energy from fans. The best thing is we learned how to enjoy the concert.'

SHINee also shared their love for their devoted Shawols (official name for SHINee fans), who drove them to tears the night before at the first show with special fan projects.

Leader Onew, who graded their concert last year with a whopping low 30/300, gave SHINee World II a passing grade of 150/300.

'This year we improved a lot, because we can communicate with the fans, the songs and dances are better,' said Onew.

Improvement is expected. It has been more than four years since their debut in 2008 after all and SHINee is no longer the youngest group in the SM Town Family. This is no doubt additional pressure for them as they play the role of seniors to f(x) and recently debuted boyband EXO.

SHINee admitted, 'We want to be role models and encourage our juniors, just like how we look up to our seniors and practice hard.'

For the rest of the year, SHINee plans to bring their new tour to different places and they are excited about having more opportunities to meet fans. Taiwan and Singapore are the two stops first announced.

SHINee World II will be held in Singapore on Dec 8 (one night only) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Tickets are expected to go on sale in August, with further details to be announced soon. The concert is brought to you by RITS.

SHInee challenges extremes at second tour!

After setting a record with their first ever Japanese arena tour, performing to a total of 200,000 people in 20 shows, Korean boyband SHINee returned to Seoul to kick off their second concert tour SHINee World II.

xinmsn was invited by Running Into The Sun (RITS) to attend their Seoul concert over the weekend, and the concert mesmerized close to 20,000 Shawols (official name for SHINee fans) across the two days (Jul 21 and 22).

SHINee opened the show with the explosive 'Lucifer', decked in white and grey science fiction-esque outfits. With beat-heavy dance tracks such as 'Amigo', 'Sherlock' and 'Ring Ding Dong', it is obvious how much SHINee has grown as performers, luring the crowd into their world.

The concert theme this time round seems to focus on SHINee being saviours judging by the introduction video of them in a spaceship clashing head on with a meteor, to them appearing on a log raft and performing 'Amazing Grace'.

SHINee revealed a tinge of their darker side at their first tour, but they challenged themselves further this time with heavier rock influences for the live remixes. Averaging at an age of 20 years old, what struck us the most was how SHINee matured from their cutesy boyish selves, proving that being badass was no big problem.

Maknae (the youngest) Taemin's solo performance of Korn's 'Get Up' opened our eyes as the 'f' word in the lyrics was boldly shouted, but it was his collaboration with Jonghyun that stunned everyone.

Singing 'Internet Wars' by Seo Taiji, the two engaged in a battle on stage, with half-naked Jonghyun grabbing Taemin by the back of his head and pressing their faces dangerously close together. Their performance of this segment on Saturday created a huge buzz online with fans thinking that Jonghyun kissed Taemin. The dramatic rendition ended with Jonghyun handcuffing Taemin.

Fans who prefer the softer and tamer side of SHINee, don't worry -- there's enough to go around. SHINee's retro video made for the song 'Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree' stood out for its humour. They even came on stage performing it, throwing SHINee dollar notes to the audience.

Leader Onew's solo musical stage of Jason Mraz's 'I won't give up' and Toy's 'A Passionate Goodbye' was a delight to watch too.

SHINee ended the show in their familiar coloured skinny jeans, singing the touching ballad 'Life'. The concert lasted around three hours and SHINee performed close to 30 songs.

After bringing SHINee to Singapore for their first concert tour last year, RITS is once again bringing this widely-anticipated encore performance to local fans. It is confirmed that SHINee World II will be held in Singapore on Dec 8 (one night only) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Ticket are expected to go on sale in August, with further details to be announced soon.

Sulli and Minho's first meeting on 'To the Beautiful You'

New still cuts of SHINee’s Minho and f(x)’s Sulli’s first meeting in the upcoming SBS drama ‘To the Beautiful You’ have been released.

Dressed in their school uniforms, Minho’s character, Kang Tae Joon is seen fixing Koo Jae Hee’s (SUlli) nametag. The scene was filmed at a university campus in Icheon on July 12th, and staff remarked that although their characters have an awkward relationship in the drama, the two are actually relax and playful on the set.

A drama producer stated, “Sulli and Minho are always discussing their characters and are working very hard to present natural acting. Please look forward to how they’ll stand before viewers with their characters.”

Nichkhun involved in car accident under the influence

2PM’s Nichkhun was caught driving under the influence of alcohol.

On July 24th, Nichkhun was involved in a car accident while driving in Gangnam. The singer was under the influence of alcohol when he rear-ended a motorcyclist. At the time, Nichkhun’s blood alcohol level was found to be 0.056 percent, which leads to the suspension of his driver's license. 

A representative of the Gangnam police station stated, “Measuring his alcohol level at the scene of the accident, Nichkhun was not in a severely intoxicated state. Immediately after the accident, Nichkhun and the victim were investigated by the police.”

No one was injured at the scene, and there was no serious damage to either vehicle. The representative added, neither Nichkhun nor the victim were injured. Both vehicles were insured and after inspection, the singer took measures to return home safely.”
