Baek Ji Young uses her break to serve as a visual director for rookie artist Yoo Sung Eun


Baek Ji Young showed her endless support as a coach for Yoo Sung Eun.

Their agency WS Entertainment updated fans on Yoo Sung Eun's official homepage on the 24th, "Coach Baek Ji Young who helped out as a visual director for Yoo Sung Eun's debut album 'Be OK' and Sung Eun ^^. How sweet," and released behind-the-scenes photos of Baek Ji Young personally giving her advice on Yoo Sung Eun's style.

According to WS Entertainment, Baek Ji Young participated in the hair, makeup, styling, and choreography as well as the album production for Yoo Sung Eun's debut album.

Super Junior's 1st Japanese album 'Hero' snags #1, Junho's 'Kimi no Koe' places #3 on the Oricon Chart


The boys of Super Junior have hit the jackpot with their first ever Japanese studio album, 'Hero'!

The boys have released 4 singles in Japan, but this is their first full album. As expected of one of the biggest groups in K-pop, the boys sold 52,232 copies on the first day it was released, climbing proudly onto #1 on the Oricon Daily Charts.


In related news, 2PM's Junho debut mini album 'Kimi no Koedebuted at #3 on the same chart by selling 40,036 copies.

Ailee snagged her first win for "U&I" on MBC Music's 'Show Champion'!

The show tweeted, "Which song was the 'Champion Song' on July 24th's 'Show Champion'? It was Ailee's 'U&I'! She got her first #1 for her comeback on 'Show Champion~ She also did the split that she promised on the radio!!! Congratulations again^^".


She'd promised that she'd do the split on her win, and Amber reminded her of the promise - and Ailee did it so simply she made it look easy!

f(x) says “Rum Pum Pum Pum” on ‘M! Countdown’



Girl group f(x) is finally jumping onto the stage with “Rum Pum Pum Pum”, showing colors that only the group can uniquely hold. 

“Rum Pum Pum Pum” is a pop dance song with addictive guitar sound and exciting percussion rhythm. The song is the title tune to f(x)’s upcoming second full length album ‘Pink Tape’ which will be released on the 29th.

Jumping into the fierce pool of competition this summer, f(x) kicked off their very first live performance of “Rum Pum Pum Pum” on the July 25th episode of ‘M! Countdown’.

f(x), Ailee and B2ST to join ‘DMZ World Peace Concert’



Top idol groups B2ST and f(x) as well as Ailee will be joining the lineup of artist confirmed to perform in the upcoming ‘DMZ World Peace Concert’, to be directed by the veteran singer Kim Jang Hoon. 

Recently, Girl’s Day and rookie artist K.Hunter confirmed their participation in the concert. Actors Choi Min Soo and Ahn Sung Ki were also listed in the line-up of stars taking part in a concert set to take place free of charge at Nuri Peace Park on August 3.

A representative stated, “We plan to continue adding to the lineup by inviting about 10 more acts from various areas. The second line-up will be revealed during a press conference which will mostly include people who contribute a lot to the meaning of the concert and overseas artists.”

The concert, which will be hosted by Gyeonggi Province, is to convey the peace message in remembrance of the 60th anniversary of the ceasefire of the Korean War (1950-1953). Kim Jang Hoon is known for the elaborate concerts that he holds every year.

KARA members enjoy bubble bath together

On July 24, Goo Hara uploaded a photo of herself with fellow KARA members Han Seungyeon and Kang Jiyoung having a bubble bath together on her Instagram.

T-ara’s Hyomin is a shy student on ‘Jinx’ movie poster



T-ara’s Hyomin has transformed herself into a lovely and shy Korean student on the official poster for upcoming Japanese film, ‘Jinx’.

‘Jinx’ is about the stories of college students and their various feelings, which will be directed by director Naoto Kumazawa. In the film, Hyomin will be playing a Korean student named Ji Ho, who will act as the cupid to the main leads, Kurumi Shimizu and Kento Yamazaki.

‘Jinx’ will hit theaters in Japan on November 16.

Director Park Chan Wook Most Likely To Cast SHINee's Key In His Projects!



Director Park Chan Wook wants to cast SHINee member Key in his future projects.


During the press conference for the new movie 'Snow Piercer' which is directed by Park Chan Wook, it was revealed that the director would like to cast Key in his projects. He said that his daughter likes SHINee and her favorite is non other than Key. He revealed that if he was to cast a SHINee member in his movie, Key would be the first choice.

On the other hand, Key will be showcasing his acting skills once again in musical “Bonnie and Clyde” which will begin on September 4th. He will be playing the lead role of Clyde.
