SHINee’s Jonghyun competes in a ‘one shot’ soda challenge on ‘Star King’

SHINee‘s Jonghyun competed in a hilarious ‘one shot’ soda challenge on the latest episode of ‘Star King‘.

On the March 23rd broadcast, a female contestant left the guests in shock upon finishing a whole 500cc (0.5 liters) jug of soda in 3 seconds flat, retaining her title as the ’3 second cola one shot woman’.

Jonghyun then confidently entered the ‘one shot’ challenge, claiming that he can finish the jug in five seconds. Although his quick start left viewers hopeful that he could beat the three second mark, Jonghyun suddenly became unable to finish the soda bursting the guests into laughter.

2PM’s blockbuster-level MV trailer for comeback revealed

Hottest prepare yourselves, 2PM is making a comeback and doing it in a major way from what we can tell so far. At exactly 2PM KST, the group just posted their amazingly epic MV teaser that literally leaves us breathless.

In addition to Youtube, the trailer will be shown in New York’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly. The trailers will be playing on March 25 (Monday) at 2:00PM (appropriately) local time. They also want people to tweet their photos and videos to @jypnation with the hash tag #2PMtrailer.

As previously reported, JYP Entertainment confirmed the news of their comeback, stating, “2PM’s comeback preparations are being carried out, and ahead of their upcoming Korean promotions after 2 years, a comeback trailer will be released on the 25th.”

The Beastly Idols are seriously pulling out all the stops, the trailer has the look of a blockbuster movie.  With mysterious caskets being lost deep deep in the ocean, we can’t wait to see what treasures lie within.

Ailee brings laughter with her parody of ‘Les Misérables’ on ‘Gag Tonight’

Singer Ailee made a surprise appearance on SBS‘ ‘Gag Tonight‘ and used her standout singing ability for comedy.

Ailee showed her comedic side by parodying the hit musical ‘Les Misérables‘ in the popular segment ‘Gae Tu Misérables’ (short for ‘Gag Tonight Misérables’) by singing a song which expresses the woes of a part-time worker in the sauna who boils eggs for a living.

Super Junior reveals their secret to remaining young

Popular group Super Junior revealed that they have begun to work out to counter their increasing average age.

On March 24th, a press conference was held for ‘Super Show 5‘. Member Kyuhyun revealed, “The members are getting older and there are instances where even I, the maknae, get tired. Because of this, the members have started working out. We prepared a stage where we will prove that Super Junior is still alive.”

Fellow member Yesung also commented, “Through ‘Super Show 5′, I felt like I enjoyed it more than feeling burdened by my stamina. It hasn’t been tiring yet. I have been making a lot of effort and have started working out more.”

On another note, Super Junior is starting their world tour in Seoul, South Korea and then heading out to China, Japan, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Europe.

Davichi decide to “Take a Drink Together” on ‘Inkigayo’!

Davichi have returned with ‘Mystic Ballad 1990‘ and their title track “Take a Drink Together“.

After beating the intense competition with “Turtle“, the talented singing duo have been dominating with another new song from their 2nd album ‘Mystic Ballad 1990‘. Fans must have missed the singers as their first full-length album in five years has been doing great on music charts.

Despite having not returned for some time, the girls took the stage to prove that their skills haven’t gone anywhere, and continue to impress with their powerful vocals.

Super Junior’s Yesung to enlist in the army this year

Super Junior’s Yesung confirmed that he is next to enlist in the army following Leeteuk.

On March 24, Super Junior held its Super Show 5 at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Hall, where Yesung informed fans that he’ll soon be leaving for the army. He shared, “I have spent five years as a trainee and eight years as a member of the group, and I deeply thank all the fans for their love.”

He continued, “I forgot how special it is to stand on stage and sing. Now I know how important it is. Please love on the Super Junior members during the time I’m away. Please don’t forget me as well.”

A representative from SM Entertainment said, “Yesung is planning to enter the army this year. He will be on the tour with Super Show 5 but I think it will be the last concert that he does in Korea.”

SHINee's Onew and After School's Jungah dating?

 SHINee's Onew is really getting all the spotlight lately.

Earlier today Kukinews released 2 articles in which they revealed that SHINee's Onew and Afterschool's Jungah are in a relationship.Not just by words they also came with proof photos of the two idols.

 

On 21st, around 9pm,they were spotted going into a restaurant in Apgujeong together. They spent about 1 hour there.

The article said that the two have been dating each other for 1 year, and despite their busy schedules, they often meet  and go out together.

And when both SME and Pledis Entertainment were asked about the issue, both the companies denied it and said Onew and Jungah are just really close friends, and they have had meals often since long ago so they were all surprised over the sudden news whether they're having an affair or not.

Meanwhile, SHINee is about to conclude their Dream Girl promotion while Afterschool is preparing for their comeback.

Super Junior’s Yesung plays with Kangin’s wig

Super Junior’s Yesung recently played with Kangin’s wig and transformed into blonde chic.

On March 25, Yesung posted on his Twitter, “In the waiting room at the concert, playing around wearing kangin’s wig… What is this”, and attached photos of himself looking sexy with his wig.

The blonde wig was used by fellow member Kangin during his special stage on Super Junior’s recent ‘Super Show 5’ concert at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul on March 24. Kangin transformed himself into Ga-in of Brown Eyed Girls and performed “Bloom”.

2PM releases a thrilling comeback trailer

2PM is preparing for a grand return and to start the countdown, the boys unveiled a thrilling comeback trailer!

Released on March 25 via JYP Entertainment official Youtube channel, the 1-minute and 25-second video features a movie-like scene with six 2PM members being dumped into the water while chained inside the coffins. As the clock ticks to 2o’clock, the boys seem to be reincarnated and and get out of the water.

Meanwhile, the trailer will also be played at theater Megabox 300 branches in Korea, in New York Times Square, and London’s Picadilly square.

On March 24, f(x) Sulli performs with K-Pop Star 2's duo '2000 won' and gave a stage with full of charms.

Super Junior's Sungmin is Hyun Ah's twin!

Super Junior Sungmin uploaded selcas on his blog parodying Hyun Ah as part of his solo performance in Super Show 5.

Cross dressed as Hyun Ah, Sungmin perfectly copied Hyun Ah's make up and hairstyle in her Ice Cream MV impressing fans and netizens.

Super Junior’s Kangin to perform in Super Show 5 after four years

At a press conference for Super Junior’s Super Show 5 at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul on March 24, Super Junior’s Kangin revealed on returning to the concert stage after four years. 

Kangin will perform solo for the show. He chose to sing the late Kim Gwang Seok’s Around Thirty. He stated his reason, “I'm turning 30 and the fans are getting older too.”

Super Show 5 will happen in China, Japan, Indonesia, South America and Europe after the Seoul concerts. 

2PM teases fans with an image for their trailer release

Tomorrow will be the day.

JYP Entertainment released a confirmation statement saying, “We are preparing for 2PM's comeback. We will start it with a trailer that will be released on the 25th.”  

But as a teaser, they released an image that shows the group’s name and a date which is March 25, 2013.

The trailer will be seen on famous places like New York’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly.

2NE1 performs at Twin Towers Alive 2013 in Malaysia!

On March 23, 2NE1 flew to Malaysia to meet their fans and performed several of their hits songs like Fire, Ugly, I Am The Best, and I Love You.

The girls were so energetic and spoke a little Malay to delight the fans. On the same day, the members and the fans also celebrated Park Bom's birthday.

Super Junior Sungmin parodies HyunAh's Ice Cream at SS5

Super Junior members always have entertaining performances when they hold Super Show. One of the most exciting part is, when they cover girl groups.

On March 23, their Super Show 5 held  its 1st day in Seoul. This time, Siwon, Kangin, Ryeowook and Sungmin parody SISTAR's hit song 'Alone'.

To add more fun, the boys of SuJu crossdressed and danced passionately to the music. Wearing high heels and short dresses, the boys entertained their fans by their enthusiastic moves. Their humor on stage is really overflowing.

Super Junior's Seong Min to play the lead role in the Japanese musical 'Summer Snow'

Due to fame of Super Junior in Japan and previous exposures like 

in Jack the Ripper and Hong Gil Dong

 

, Seong Min was cast in the 

 

Japanese musical Summer Snow. 

 

He will give life to the lead role, Jin Ha. The character loses his parents and takes care of his two younger brothers.

 

Summer Snow was first aired and gained its popularity as a drama on the Japanese network TBS in 2000. 

Summer Snow is planned to open at Osaka Amagasagaki Hall in April and will run in Tokyo from May.

SM entertainment stood up for Onew

Onew was one of the guests in MBC Radio’s Star Shining Night. It is a radio program simultaneously broadcasted over the Internet. Unfortunately, Onew made a middle finger which was seen by the viewers. 

After that unfortunate event, SM entertainment, the agency managing SHINee, stepped up and made an official public apology on March 19. They explained, “Onew was playing around with the other group members as they waited to appear on a radio program when he did that. It was unintentional. It didn't mean to offend or disrespect others. But he is now deeply regretting his mistake."
