T-ara’s Eunjung, Hyomin play with a kid at Incheon Airport

On September 20th, T-ara‘s Eunjung and Hyomin left for Thailand through Incheon Airport to attend the press conference for ETN‘s audition program, ‘Global Super Idol‘.

The two proved to be quite a hit with the young foreign children at the airport. The girls crouched down to chat with them, and Eunjung even patted a young boy’s bum with affection.

Eunjung also showed off her chic fashion sense with a black and beige trench coat. The broad black strip drew emphasis to her slender legs, and she kept her accessories simple to match the elegant look of her outfit. Keeping it simple with a neutral palette of beige, white, and black, Eunjung added a youthful touch by dabbing on a light pink lipcolor.

Cable Channel’s ETN audition program ‘Super Idol’ is a program with the mission to choose the best idol based on singing, dancing, and acting. The program will take place in both Thailand and China and the final will unfold in Korea. ETN’s global audition program will begin its global broadcast on October.

KARA’s Jiyoung almost gave up her debut for love

On this week’s episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, KARA‘s Kang Jiyoung confessed that she almost gave up her chance to debut.

A short segment from the upcoming episode saw her reveal, “Because of my first love, who was someone I liked so much, I almost gave up the chance to debut with KARA… Because of the upcoming debut, I was supposed to go to Seoul, but I just couldn’t break up with that sunbae. As a result, I stubbornly told my mom while crying, ‘I’m not going to debut’.”

The episode will also exhibit Lee Ye Rin‘s martial arts experience and actor Byun Woo Min‘s confession that singer Kim Min Jong‘s “Another meeting” was supposed to be his debut song, also gained hot interest on the set. Other guests for this day included Sung Shi Kyung, Kim Jo Han, Kim Hye Sun, Jaurim, KARA’s Nicole, and INFINITE’s Woohyun.

f(x)’s Sulli gets inspired by ’60s icon Twiggy for ‘Singles’

f(x)‘s Sulli shed her cute image with a dramatic transformation for ‘Singles‘ magazine.

For the October issue of ‘Singles’, Sulli channelled international fashion icons Twiggy and Edie Sedgwick for the pictorial’s ’60s style concept.

Sporting bold hairstyles and makeup, the f(x) star brought youthful energy to a look that’s known to be vibrant and full of life. Sporting various patterns like polka dots and bright colors, Sulli was able to successfully transform into a fashion muse for today’s generation.

Will High Kick 3 be able to continue the series success as a sitcom?

‘The sitcom genius’, PD Kim Byoung Wook‘s newest project is MBC‘s High Kick 3 . The script is byLee Young Chul, Hong Bo Hee, Jang Jin Ah, and Baek Sun Woo. The sitcom is directed by Kim Byoung Wook, Kim Young Ki, and Cho Chan Joo. High Kick 3 tells the chaotic story of a middle-class family who has filed for bankruptcy. The pilot episode aired on the 19th, and it is receiving praise for being an all-inclusive sitcom with comedy, action, and drama.

The story of the pilot episode took place in the futuristic year of 2052, and they opened up with an elderly person introducing their book, ‘High Kick, counterattack of the short legs‘.
The elderly person continued to narrate the story and it began with, “2011 was a year in which everyone was driven by financial wealth…” They ‘went back in time’ to 2011, and the camera focused in onYoon Kye Sang‘s older sister, Yoo Sun (An Yoo Sun), and Nae Sang (Ahn Nae Sang), a married couple.

It is YooSun’s birthday and it is also the day their son Jong Suk (Kim Jong Suk) has an important ice hockey match, while their daughter Soo Jung (Krystal) was also scheduled to return home. But Nae Sang is betrayed by a friend on this day and loses everything he has in an instant. In order to run from his creditors, he grabs his wife receiving a birthday massage, his son from his vital hockey match, and his daughter who has just landed at the airport and quickly heads for… anywhere.

When they finally come to their senses after their escape, they realize that all of their credit cards have been cancelled and so they use the few dollars their daughter has in her pocket to buy choco pies to substitute for a birthday cake. But when they go to light the candles, firecrackers go off instead of candles with one firecracker attached to Nae Sang’s bottom, and off he went, high into the night sky with a loud scream. With that, the pilot episode of High Kick 3 came to a close.

The first episode contains an intense car-chase scene where the family is running from their debtors along with some other action scenes and it also provides some comic relief with the scene of Nae Sang flying into the night sky with a firecracker attached to his behind.

The character line up is also impressive. Yoon Kye Sang plays the role of a professional doctor who steps down from a major hospital to do volunteer work, Lee Juk who starts a proctological surgery business in an attempt to make big money but fails and as a result is suffering from depression, Kim Ji Won who plays the role of a high school students that refuses to be tied down, and Seo Ji Sukplays the role of a simple and ignorant gym teacher.

T-ara, SG Wannabe, Ock Ju Hyun release “Page One” digital single and MV

Ock Ju Hyun, SG Wannabe‘s Kim Jin Ho, and T-ara‘s Soyeon have come together to collaborate on the digital single, “Page One”.

“Page One” is a pop ballad featuring a sophisticated violin melody that compliments the delicate yet emotional vocals of Ock Ju Hyun, and the sorrowful harmony of Kim Jin Ho and Soyeon.

This single is the work of composers Cho Young Soo and Oh Sung Hoon, who both composed and produced the song. Cho Young Soo has previously composed songs for the ‘East of Eden’ drama OST (“Going Against Fate”, “Can You Hear Me”, “There’s No Other Person Like Her”), and for the current drama, ‘Gyebaek’s OST (“Do You Know”, “Can’t Be Reached”, “One Step”).

The digital single was released earlier today on the various music portals.

T-ara visits Hyomin on the set of ‘Gyebaek’

On September 19th, the ladies of T-ara paid a surprise visit to fellow member Hyomin while she was filming for MBC‘s ‘Gyebaek‘!

Bearing homemade rice cakes and bread, the girls expressed their support for the entire crew, and even apologized for how Hyomin’s Japanese activities interfered with the ‘Gyebaek’ shooting schedule. “Please take care of our Hyomin,” they requested.

T-ara also took the opportunity to snap pictures with some of their favorite actors and actresses, including Lee Seo Jin and Jo Jae Hyun.

Hyomin is currently playing the role of ‘Cho Young’, a teenage female warrior.

The pictures are taken from the set of E-channel TV Best Couple , a variety show wherein couples will do challenges together.

Looks like Super Junior Yesung's partner got revealed and it's none other than fellow label mate F(x) Victoria.

He said on his twitter,

In the pictures, the two are making "V" sign while smiling at the camera. Fans raise different opinions such as "Oh no more Nickhun!", "You look good together!", "Please take care of her oppa!".

SSTP DJs Shindong and Gyuri have a tight friendship amidst group competition in music shows

Super Junior and Kara have been busy promoting their songs on music shows nowadays. SSTP DJs are preparing well for their performances, Shindong in SuJu and Gyuri for KARA.

The two groups which they are in are even competing for the 1st place. However, seems like their tight bond has nothing to do with it no matter who wins, they even promised that they will celebrate and cheer whoever from them will win.

On 16, KARA won 1st place and Jiyoung even praised Shindong "You're so handsome oppa!" Super Junior Shindong promised that if SJ won he will dance to KARA's "Step" along with 2 members.
