MBC to hold a charity concert with Fuji TV and Avex in Japan for 50th anniversary

Earlier this week, MBC’s “Show! Music Core” revealed that they were planning a special overseas concert in celebration of their 50th anniversary. Further details were finalized today, and the project is a collaboration between MBC, Fuji TV, and Avex.

The concert – named as the “Legendary East 2011 Korean Music Wave Live in Tokyo” – is a charitable event for which all profits will go towards the ‘Good Friends Save the Children‘ organization.

The impressive line-up includes TVXQ, B2ST, 2AM, f(x), SHINee, MBLAQ, 4minute, SG WannaBe, miss A, SECRET and many others. The second line-up list will be revealed on March 16th.

Representatives of “Legendary East 2011″ commented, “By combining Korea’s broadcast production system with Japan’s concert production know-hows, this will be one of the best concerts ever made. We hope that the audience all over the world will enjoy and share the music presented by the greatest Hallyu stars.”

The concert is scheduled for May 14th at the Saitama Super Arena.

Will KBS produce a second season of “Dream High”?

Could fans expect a second season of KBS’s “Dream High” next year?

The drama’s met with soaring popularity ever since it first began airing on January 3rd, and has managed to rank first in viewer ratings each week. Due to the success of the series, fans of the drama have been wondering for some time now whether a second season is in the works.

A representative of KBS’s drama team revealed, “Ever since we began our ‘School‘ series in 1999, other dramas such as ‘Boys Over Flowers‘, ‘God of Study‘, and now ‘Dream High’ have all achieved positive reviews. As a broadcast network, we’re determined to maintain the teenage drama genre, so we do have production plans for a drama that is akin to season two of ‘Dream High’ next year.”

The drama’s production company, Hollim & CJ Media, also revealed similar plans. A representative commented, “We’ve garnered successful production experience through ‘Dream High’, so our stance on producing a second season is positive. However, this is an issue that must be discussed right from the start only after ‘Dream High’ ends. Even if we create another drama similar to ‘Dream High’, we’re doubtful as to whether we will name it ‘Dream High’ again.”

In this album, fans are expecting Amber's great improvement as promised by representatives and the members theirselves.

Amber, who's been away from f(x)'s official activities for 6 months due to her ankle injury, is officially back and is almost done rehearsing/recording for f(x)'s official March comeback.

On February 19th, the two girls shared a photo of them in a ‘panicked state,’ but for reasons unknown.

Performances from the MTV Daum Music Fest

Just hours ago, MTV and Daum Communications got together to hold their ‘MTV Daum Music Fest’ at the Korea University Gymnasium in Seoul.

Many of Korea’s top artists including 2NE1, 2AM, 4minute, After School, MBLAQ, FT Island, Supreme Team, f(x), Secret, U-Kiss, ZE:A, and T-ara put on an awesome show for everyone.

During MBLAQ’s performance, Lee Joon jumped off the stage which caused some alarm as some fans were concerned that he fell off. However, it was later revealed that it was just a part of the performance. In addition, 2NE1 won the award for “Artist of the Year.”
