Yoochun promises to buy crabs for ‘I Miss You’ staff if viewer ratings surpass 20%

JYJ‘s Yoochun made a delicious promise at the press conference for MBC‘s ’I Miss You‘ on December 17th.

He made a public announcement that if the series raked in over 20% in viewer ratings, he’ll be treating the staff and cast of the Wednesday-Thursday drama with crabs from the province of Youngduk.

Yoochun stated, “If the ratings go over 20%, I’ll buy Youngduk crabs for everyone.” He explained, “When the drama ends, it’ll be crab season. I want to eat one that’s really big. It’s not really a promise, but it’s more something I want for myself.”

He also added that he would donate tangerines and rice to people in need under ‘I Miss You’s name if the drama does well.

‘I Miss You’ preview reveals kiss scene between Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye

The preview of the 13th episode of ‘I Miss You‘ revealed a kiss scene between Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye.

In the preview, Yoon Eun Hye stated to Yoochun, “The girl that you like can’t leave him by himself. We’re going to get married“. This caused Yoochun to respond, “I’ll forget you tomorrow. Today, just today“, and leaned in for a kiss.

The drama will take a break for the 19th, but will air its 13th episode on the 20th instead. Check out the preview below!

Taemin expresses his thoughts on voting for first time

SHINee‘s youngest member Taemin expressed his thoughts on voting for the first time.

The idol, who turned 19 years old (Korean age: 20) this past July, shared, “As this time is my first time voting, I feel a sense of responsibility, and I’m also nervous.”

Despite the fact that Taemin was in Japan for promotions with SHINee on the day of elections, he’s reported to have taken time off to vote in person at a poll center in Gangnam, Seoul.

South Korea held its presidential elections on December 19th.

Ryeowook poses in Greece

On December 18th, Super Junior's Ryeowook uploaded a photo on his twitter in the morning with the words, “At the famous crazy island of Mykonos in Greece. I want to go there again”. 

In the photo, Ryeowook poses in sunglasses with the blue sea and sky of Greece on his back. 

Netizens who saw this photo stated, “I am envious of Ryeowook”, “I feel warm just looking at this photo”,  and “The background matches you”. 

In addition, Super Junior won both the Best Album and Best Male Global Group awards at the ‘Mnet Asian Music Awards’ on November 30th.

Sulli of the group f(x) revealed a cute selca of herself.

On December 18th, Sulli shared a photo on her me2day and wrote, “My eyes are also blue.”

‘The Promise’ reveals posters of Leeteuk, Ji Hyun Woo, Yoon Hak and Kim Moo Yeol

Character posters of the new musical ‘The Promise’ were recently revealed featuring the cast members, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Supernova’s Yoon Hak, Ji Hyun Woo and Kim Moo Yeol, who will portray war veterans.

‘The Promise’, which is hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, is about the 6.25 war in Korea and how a group of soldiers keep a promise made with each other. The musical was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary since the 6.25 war in 1950.

In the musical, Ji Hyun Woo plays the role of platoon commander Ji Hoon, Kim Moo Yeol plays the role of mysterious man Sang Jin, Yoon Hak plays the role of lively performer Dal Ho, and Leeteuk plays the role of feminine man Miss Kim.

‘The Promise’ will run from January 8 to January 20, 2013 at the National Theater near Dongkook University.

T-ara deny exceptional offer for alcohol CF deal so they can keep image of appealing to all ages

 

T-ara have politely denied an exceptional offer for an alcohol advertising deal.

Besides their maknae Areum (19), all of T-ara are adults. According to recent news, idol groups have the second most amount of influence on today's youth and T-ara wanted to make sure they kept their image as an appropriate girl group.

T-ara said, "We want youth to mimic our dances, fashion styles and enjoy us for that instead of cater to encouraging the youth drinking culture. Because of this, we thought it would be inappropriate to advertise publicly for an alcohol brand."

T-ara also said, "In the future, we hope there will be less advertisement appearing to youth encouraging them to drink."

 

 

 

 

Ryeowook reveals album jacket for Super Junior K.R.Y 'Promise You'

Super Junior’s Ryeowook has just released the album jacket photo for unit group, Super Junior K.R.Y’s upcoming Japanese single, ‘Promise You’.

On December 18th, Ryeowook uploaded the above photo on his Twitter and wrote, “Promise You. What I want to tell you is just that I love you.”

Mostly known for their lovely voices and touching performances, Super Junior K.R.Y, made up of members Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung, will once again capture the hearts with their upcoming R&B track.

‘Promise You’ is due to be released on January 23 in Japan.
