‘Khuntoria Couple’ Victoria and Nichkhun to appear on ‘Radio Star’ together

2PM member Nichkhun and f(x)‘s Victoria will appear together on an upcoming episode of MBC‘s ‘Radio Star‘.

The most recent filming of MBC’s ‘Radio Star’ was a ‘My Second Hometown Special.’ The two idols already appeared on MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘ and were dubbed ‘Khuntoria’ and really meshed well with one another.  Interest is high for this episode with the news that the two will be appearing together.

During the recording, Victoria revealed the part of the chicken that she likes the best and Nichkhun imitated Yoo Sae Yoon’s monkey pose.

Besides the two idols, DJ & Radio Personality Robert Holley will also appear on the show.  The broadcast featuring the three will air on July 11th at 11:15PM KST.

Boram opens up about online criticisms

T-ara member Boram opened up about the negative comments she read online about herself.

The July 10th episode of KBS‘ ‘Star Life Theatre’ showcased girl group T-ara, and member Boram confessed to a difficult point in her career as an idol.

As already well-known, Boram is the daughter of famous singer Jun Young Rok and actress Lee Mi Young. Considering her family status in the entertainment business, Boram commented, “At first, I received attention because I was someone’s daughter.”

Boram continued sadly, “But later on, I would hear people say, ‘The little kid in T-ara is an eyesore. If only she was gone, the group would be fine’.” She confessed, “Despite the comments, I feel as if I was able to get this far because of my parents.”

Jiyeon’s Lego statues impresses netizens

T-ara member Jiyeon‘s ability to make cute Lego statues has left netizens impressed.

On July 10th, a pair of pictures featuring T-ara Jiyeon’s Lego masterpieces, seen above, were posted online under the title, “Jiyeon’s Lego-making skills are [above] average”.

The screenshots were taken from KBS‘s July 9th episode of ‘Star Life Theatre’, in which Jiyeon was seen absorbed in a Lego project. The uploader of the picture additionally commented, “Jiyeon’s dexterity is above average. She makes Lego statues well.”

Another admirer of Jiyeon’s work also posted a few more pictures, seen above on the left. These are snapshots that Jiyeon has taken herself, showing off the Lego statues she gave to her fellow T-ara members.

Netizens who have seen Jiyeon’s Legos have commented, “Jiyeon is amazing,” “Whoa, daebak (awesome),” “Make me one too,” and, “Really remarkable skill.”

In other news, the T-ara members continue to show off their skills as idols through the promotion of their title song, “Day By Day”.

‘To the Beautiful You’ releases photos from the first script reading

With anticipation rising for the drama, ‘To the Beautiful You‘ has unveiled a set of photos from their first script reading.

The reading took place back on July 7th at the SBS Ilsan Production Center and in attendance wereSulli, Minho, Lee Hyun woo, Kim Ji Won, Ki Tae Young, Lee Young Eun, Kang Kyung Jun, Seo Jun Young, Kwanghee, Kang Ha Neul, Lee Han Wee, Lee Ah Hyun, and Ahn Hye Kyung.

On this day, Sulli is said to have spoken in a lower tone to better fit the role of a girl who disguises herself as a guy, while Minho showed his hard working attitude as he concentrated on every word that the director and writer mentioned.

Lee Han Wee and Lee Ah Hyun showcased their leadership as they lead the hoobae actors throughout the reading, while also livening up the atmosphere.

A representative from the drama team stated, “The cast of ‘To the Beautiful You’ is already working hard by coming together to produce a perfect drama… We believe that a great project can be produced through the meeting of the passion and intensity of the young actors and the experience of the older actors.”

The pilot episode will air in August.

Teaser for Super Junior on ‘Saturday Night Live Korea 2′ revealed

The Super Junior members will be hosting the upcoming July 14th episode of tvN‘s ‘Saturday Night Live (SNL) Korea 2′!

Ahead of their appearance, a short teaser was recently uploaded on tvN’s official YouTube channel. Many Kangin fans are excited as this will mark Kangin’s first variety appearance as a Super Junior member after having fulfilled his mandatory military service.

‘SNL Korea 2′ is the Korean version of NBC‘s hit comedy and variety show ‘Saturday Night Live’, which has been running for 37 years since 1975. This season, ‘SNL Korea 2′ also aims to be popular like its predecessor, and rank first in terms of gaining viewers across the country. Its theme as a “TV show for adults” has certainly attracted interest among many.

女子组合F(x)的成员Victoria（宋茜）传达了有关Amber（刘逸云）退出传闻的心情。 

参加了7月9日MBC电视台播出的《来玩吧》的Victoria称“在准备首张迷你专辑《NUABO》的活动中Amber脚腕受伤了。她只是暂时去了美国的家人处休养，而记者们就开始了种种推测”。 Victoria还称“（由于这则传闻）等Amber回韩国之后F(x)将把更出色的表现展示给大家，所以也在竭尽全力练习”。

也就是说，Amber的退出传闻反而让组合成员们更加稳定坚固。 Victoria以及先艺、圭利、孝林、晓星等女子组合的队长们参加了当天播出的节目《女孩们的战争特辑》。

Dance groups from a total of fifty countries and six continents participated in this year's worldwide '2012 K-POP Cover Dance Festival,' hosted by the Visit Korea Committee and supported by a number of notable stars.

"The contestants are evaluated through not only their song and choreography choice but also though their costumes, makeup, and style. The contestants who win the national championships will compete in Korea for the final round of competition, and have chances to meet select K-POP stars."

Out of 1350 dance groups, a total of 98 teams backed SHINee, placing SHINee in the coveted second place for the "role model of cover dances" title. They were only preceded by SNSD, with a total of 155 teams behind them. (An updated set of rankings on the competition's website shows SHINee with a total of 99 teams and SNSD with a total of 156.)

SHINee also ranked in the #1 spot in a chart of artists by country (seen below), placing first within the regions of North and South America, as well as second in Africa.

A more detailed set of regional rankings shown on the website further proves SHINee's global popularity, with SHINee being the sole artist to achieve a place on every top five list per region worldwide. Our boys sure do fit the title of global stars!
