SM Entertainment idols have a Halloween party!

The idols of SM Entertainment got together for a Halloween party!

Photos of members of SHINee, Super Junior, and EXO in costume were posted to the label's official Facebook on October 29. They definitely look like they put a lot of effort into their costumes with some making sure to get in character.

In other news, the SM artists recently gathered for an SMTOWN brand concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 26th and 27th.

Kangta takes a photo with his ideal type f(x)'s Victoria

This past July, Kangta appeared on tvN's 'Taxi', where he chose f(x)'s Victoria as his ideal type. 

He previously said, "As she is a really good friend of mine, I hope she meets a good man even if that man is not me." In relation to the fact that she was on MBC's 'We Got Married' with 2PM's Nichkhun, he revealed that he had once suggested he and Victoria be featured on the show together.

More recently, Kangta updated his Weibo with the photo above and the caption, "With Victoria."

The SM Entertainment stars definitely look like close friends, and Victoria is even dressed in a school uniform. Netizens responded: "They look quite good together," "Kanga still likes Victoria," "A scandal will occur like this," and, "I'll wait for some good news."

SHINee's Jonghyun reveals his mother still treats him like a child

On October 28, SHINee made a guest appearance on KBS 2TV's 'Hello.'

On this day, one man talked about never receiving love or attention from his mother.  He said, "My one and only mother has no interest in me and even though I do all sorts of aegyo, she curses at me."

Jonghyun, however, revealed that he had the complete opposite problem.  He said, "My mother was the director of a day care center and still treats me like a child."  

Formal language in Korean, when spoken in the right tone, could sound like baby talk. Jonghyun said that her mother would speak "formally" to him, saying things like, "Jonghyun, did you eat?"  However, it would come off like she were speaking to a young child.  He said, "I'm twenty-four years old, not four years old."

In addition, whenever she would call him to a meal, she would attach endearing phrases in front of his name so she would essentially be saying things like "My lovable Jonghyun" and "the freshly woken up Jonghyun."

Addressing his mother through the show, Jonghyun said sweetly, "Please just say 'my lovable son.'  I love you."

SHINee's Minho talks about his fast metabolism + ripping his tight pants while dancing

SHINee appeared on the October 28 installment of KBS 2TV's 'Hello Today'.  On this day, a woman on the show revealed that her husband would always tell her to lose weight.

The MCs then asked the boys of SHINee whether they had to be concerned about their weight.  

It appeared that Minho never had a problem with his weight.  He revealed, "I eat five meals a day, but I don't gain weight."  Understandably, anyone would be jealous of such high metabolism! 

Jonghyun revealed, "I lost 12 kg (~ 26 lbs) since the last time I was on 'Hello Today,'" which was eight months ago.  

On the show the topic of their tight pants also came up and MC Lee Young Ja asked, "While performing fierce choreography, have you ever ripped your pants?"

Jonghyun said, "Even today, I ripped about two pair of pants."

Minho said, "There's a part called the 'DJ dance' where we spread our legs and while spreading my legs, the middle part suddenly just ripped open," causing everyone to laugh.

The fierce dancing and the very tight pants are sure to create such outfit mishaps.

Jonghyun appears to be enjoying dressing up for Halloween as he revealed a series of pictures of SHINee in costume!

Mostly, he featured himself as Naruto, striking different poses that would suit the anime character.  While Minho appeared to be absent (or perhaps honorary photographer of the day), Onew appeared to be dressed up as Freddy Krueger, Taemin as a vampire, and Key as Piccolo from the Dragon Ball series.

SHINee’s Onew suffers neck injury

It has been revealed that SHINee member Onew has suffered a neck injury.

On October 29, SM Entertainment stated, “Onew has injured his neck due to the extreme dancing for the group’s hit track ‘Everybody’. He will be unable to participate in his group’s performances for the time being. In the upcoming stages, he will only take part in singing.”

SHINee is currently working on reorganizing the choreography for “Everybody” for the other four members to prevent future injuries. Beginning on ‘Show Champion’ on October 30th, the group will be showing a new version of their performance.
