Super Junior's Siwon wants to manage his famous friend!

SBS' Thank You finally closed its curtains on August 9 with a revelation from Super Junior's Siwon.

Siwon was invited to appear on the show by none other than, BoA. And Siwon didn't make BoA's feeling hurt because he came with a lot of presents for her.

Siwon revealed, “I still remember the first time I met Boa because I was so embarrassed at her behavior. Now that we’ve become so close friends, I can say I’d be willing to manage her. I even call her ‘Sister Boa.’”

‘Thank You’, which kicked off this March, features deep interviews with celebrities. 

f(x) Amber and EXO Kris reveal their couple shirt?

Looks like a couple shirt at first glance? According to Amber, it was just a coincidence.

On August 9, f(x) Amber revealed a photo taken with EXO Kris on her instagram account. The two posed acting awkwardly to each other as Amber captioned,

"Two people who accidentally wore similar clothes today.. Awkward.. Thanks for 1st place on MB!". Fans who saw this photo commented, "Why not KrisBer?","That was funny Amber!","I like this photo and I like the shirt!","These two are so adorable," and so on.

Meanwhile, f(x) won Music Bank's K-Chart against BEAST on August 9.

'UNIONBAY' provides a behind-the-scenes look at Lee Min Ki, KARA's Seungyeon, and Jiyoung's photoshoot

KARA's Seungyeon and Jiyoung, and actor Lee Min Ki reunited recently to participate in a photoshoot for apparel brand 'UNIONBAY'.

These three have worked together on several occasions before and it's pretty evident in the BTS photos released that they seem to be good friends who are quite comfortable around one another.

While revealing the fun photos, a rep recalled back on the atmosphere of the shoot as he said, "As they've been acquainted for two years now as endorsement models, it's become pretty much a given that they not only ask each other how they're doing but play smartphone games with one another during breaks. They're always laid back and boast fantastic teamwork so we were able to complete the project on a lively note."

BoA thanks Super Junior's Siwon for being such a good friend

Siwon made a special guest appearance on the most recent broadcast of SBS' 'Thank You' just for BoA! 

They're already known for their close friendship, and they didn't keep it a secret on screen, either. It was revealed that BoA invited him on the trip, and Siwon came to the recording set with presents he bought himself.

Siwon brought back memories from the past and said, "I will never forget the day I first met BoA. I was really surprised because of her," to which BoA hilariously responded, "I don't remember that at all."

BoA continued, "There is one incident I remember. There was a time I was really depressed a few years ago. Siwon took me to a very special place and surprised me with a gift. I was so touched."

Fans commented, "BoA and Siwon share such heart warming memories," and "Boa, Siwon, they both look really good."

Angry Key poses intimately with flowers!

SHINee's Key has become passionate towards flowers as he uploaded pictures of him on his intagram account.

On August 9, he posted,

"i think im angry so i need more flowers to relaxxxxxxxxzzzxxzxxzxzxzxzzzzxxsssseeeeeeezzzxxx" and "more and more".

Based from his expression, he doesn't really look happy at all. His fierce and stiff facial expression while hugging the flower vase suggested something went wrong.

T-ara arrives in Hong Kong for their solo concert

The ladies of T-ara are now in Hong Kong for their solo concert.

About 70 media members and 700-800 fans crowded the airport to get a glimpse of T-ara. The girls will be performing at Hong Kong's Asia World Expo Arena on August 10, the same venue in which Maroon 5, Lady Gaga, and Muse performed. They'll be putting on 20 different songs such as "Bo Peep Bo Peep" and "Roly Poly".

Ahead of their concert, the girls held a press conference on the 9th with Hong Kong media and TV channels.

SHINee tops music charts with 'Selene 6.23'

SHINee has topped the music charts with their new song "Selene 6.23".

The song has snagged #1 on multiple charts, and the accompanying "Better Off" has also placed high on the charts. Member Jonghyun wrote the lyrics to "Selene 6.23" himself.

The new album is a combined repackaged album as it contains both chapters as well as two new songs - "Selene 6.23" (Korean title is 'The Distance Between Us'), and "Better Off".

"Selene 6.23" features an orchestral narration as well as piano melody making for an emotional ballad, while "Better Off" will be a medium-tempo pop ballad that expresses the sadness associated with goodbyes.

f(x) tops Billboard’s K-Pop 100 Chart

After sweeping off local music charts, f(x) has now topped the Billboard’s K-Pop chart with its newest title track.

According to Billboard’s latest rankings, the girl group’s new track “Rum Pum Pum Pum” dominated the K-Pop 100 chart, taking over the top spot for the first week of August.

Also, f(x) ranked first on the cable TV show Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on August 8th as well as on KBS ‘Music Bank’ earlier, further proving the group’s popularity and success.

SHINee Jonghyun’s self-written “Selene 6.23″ tops music charts

SHINee’s latest tracks proudly stood at the top of local music charts.

On August 8, SHINee released it new repackaged album ‘The Misconceptions of Us’ and the title track “Selene 6.23” immediately reached the number one spot on local music charts including Olleh Music, Mnet, Bugs and Naver Music.

“Selene 6.23” is a ballad song with orchestra and piano sound. It talks about a crush and describes one sided love. The other new track “Better Off” is a pop ballad which talks about sadness of breakup. Both of the songs’ lyrics are known to be written by SHINee’s member Jonghyun.
