Yunho's still cuts for 'Queen of ambition' revealed

SBS's new drama "Queen of ambition" (Yawang) has released the new poster and still cuts featuring TVXQ's Yunho. The appearance of Yunho raises fans' expectation for his role alongside top stars Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae.

Yunho appears in hockey uniform and elegant suite, made viewers curious about his character. The detail of the character is still kept secret but fans can guess that his character name is Baek Do Hoon, a student of Dong Hwa university based on his uniform.

Super Junior’s Shindong and INFINITE’s Sunggyu confirmed as fixed cast members for ‘High Society’

Super Junior‘s Shindong and INFINITE‘s Sunggyu have been confirmed as the fixed guests forJTBC‘s ‘Lee Soo Geun and Kim Byung Man’s High Society‘ (‘High Society’ for short)!

PD Lee Dong Hee stated, “While we were searching for fixed guests, Super Junior and INFINITE featured as guests last year, and we actively put in our requests to Shindong and Sunggyu… Shindong is especially close with Lee Soo Geun and Kim Byung Man so we anticipate him to perform well with stability. We cast Sunggyu because he seems like he will show a new image that is different from the usual variety show characters.”

The PD added, “The concept for the first filming conducted this week was for Shindong and Sunggyu to not be aware of each other’s appearances and spend the day at the rooftop house room together, and their teamwork exceeded our expectations so we are looking forward to them.”

As Super Junior and INFINITE members are known to have a friendly sunbae-hoobae relationship, the excitement is growing from fans of both groups to see more interaction between the groups through the two members. This episode featuring Shindong and Sunggyu will air in February, so be on the lookout!

MC Shin Dong Yup tries to ‘protect’ Eunhyuk once again

Luckily for fans, Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk and Rainbow‘s Jisook missed their chance to act out a kiss scene on the latest episode of ‘Strong Heart‘.

On the January 8th broadcast of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart’, actress Yoo Ha Na opened up about skinship-lacking qualities of her husband and professional baseball player, Lee Yong Kyu, when they first started to date. Yoo Ha Na shared that after becoming frustrated with the lack of skinship between the two, she asked her husband, “Are we not going to kiss?” The actress then asked the MCs, “If a woman says ‘let’s kiss’, what should the man do?”.

The MCs then quickly turned the question over to the guests, and Boom turned to face the panelists near him, Eunhyuk and Jisook, saying, “Okay why don’t you two act this out,” leaving the idols flustered at the sudden suggestion.

But MC Shin Dong Yup quickly stopped the situation as he commented, “No. No. Ask someone else to do it. Someone else,” bringing the studio to laughter as they were once again reminded of the ‘scandal’ with Eunhyuk. Shin Dong Yup added, “Let’s protect him a little more,” adding to the laughs with Eunhyuk laughing along. If you remember, Shin Dong Yup tried to ‘protect’ Eunhyuk in a similar fashion back during a previous episode of ‘Hello‘.

Yoochun’s drama ‘I Miss You’ to be extended by 1 episode

It was reported that MBC‘s ‘I Miss You‘ will be extended by one more episode for a total of 21 episodes.

The drama features Yoochun, Yoon Eun Hye, and Yoo Seung Ho. Because of the presidential elections on December 19th, ‘I Miss You’ had not aired on the day. With the original plans listing for 20 episodes, the drama would have ended on January 16th. However, the producers of the drama have decided to extend the drama by 1 episode, and the drama will end on the 17th instead.

The production team from ‘I Miss You’ said, “We will extend the drama by one episode and show our viewers a high-quality drama until the very end.”

Currently, the drama is in last place in terms of ratings for its time slot. Hopefully, the extended episode will help it climb upward before it wraps up to give way to ‘My Girlfriend Is An Agent‘ on the 23rd.

Krystal boasts of her young age to Victoria

Krystal boasted her young age to fellow f(x) member Victoria.

She posted a selca of herself with high pigtails and wrote, “Vic unni~ I didn’t exist in the 80′s.” Playfully teasing that she is nearly 8 years younger than Victoria.

Even though the camera was right in her face, her skin was flawless, and her smile to the camera was playful.

Fans commented, “The hair doesn’t seem to suit her..“, “Her skin is so pretty. It must be because she’s young?“, and “Are you teasing Victoria because of her age?“.

Kang Min Kyung fulfills her promise to SPEED by gifting them with cellphones

Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung recently made a promise to SPEED that if their new single “Sad Promise” feat. Kang Min Kyung ranks in the top 10 of music charts, then she would gift all of the SPEED members with a new cellphone.

It looks like Kang Min Kyung will have to purchasing new cell phones as within a day of its release, “Sad Promise” successfully grabbed the #10 spot on Melon‘s real-time chart.

Kang Min Kyung stated, “There are a lot of idol groups who debut these days and fail to achieve big results on music charts, so I figured that SPEED would also fail to make it into the top 10″, revealing her blunt honesty. But after hearing the news of “Sad Promise” reaching #10, she called her manager and stated, “Before the end of this week, I will buy cellphones and give them to the [SPEED] members.”

Soyeon's agency, "Iris 2? Never offered any role"

Girl Group member Soyeon apparently never received an offer for the KBS 2TV mini series "Iris 2".

T-ara's agency, Core Contents Media said, "Soyeon appearing in 'Iris 2' and being offered the role is a rumor and not true. There has been no discussion about this drama," they said.

Last year, Soyeon debuted as an actress in KBS 2TV's "Haeundae Lovers".

Earlier, officials for "Iris 2" said that Soyeon matched the image of the agent role and was being considered.

Yoochun to attend ‘Good Voice Festival’

JYJ member Park Yoochun to attend ‘Good Voice Festival’ by Standard Chartered Bank Korea.

Standard Chartered Bank Korea will hold ‘Good Voice Festival’ at COEX in Seoul on January 19th, 2012. The festival is part of the Good Library Project, a social responsibility activity of Standard Chartered Bank Korea, of which Yoochun has been selected as the goodwill ambassador. One of the stage events at ‘Good Voice Festival’ is a nice date together with Park Yoochun.
