f(x)’s Luna to attend JoongAng University

f(x)‘s Luna has been accepted into JoongAng University through their rolling admissions process.

On October 27th, JoongAng University revealed, “f(x)’s vocalist Luna (real name: Park Sun Young) and actor Lee Poong Woon (who played the younger role of Gyebaek’s friend, Dae Su, on the drama ‘Gyebaek‘) have been accepted into the Institute of the Arts as theater majors through a special rolling admissions screening process.”

Luna, who is currently attending Lila Arts High School, has been expanding her area of expertise by acting in musicals like ‘Legally Blonde‘ and ‘Coyote Ugly‘. She was also cast for the upcoming TV drama, ‘Saving Madame Go Bong Shil‘.

Meanwhile, Lee Poong Woon previously applied for rolling admissions last year, but was forced to give up when he was involved in a car accident on the day of his exam. He was seen on ‘Gyebaek’,’A Frozen Flower‘, and more.

f(x)’s Krystal longs to ride the ferris wheel

f(x)‘s Krystal cracked up her fans with an adorable photo update.

On October 26th, Krystal shared a new picture through her me2day account and she commented, “I saw the ferris wheel in the building and went gaga….. But you can’t really see it, can you? It’s because my unni took the picture.. haha^^ ha..ha… Ah…”

Krystal poses like a little kid with her hand outstretched towards the ferris wheel. Her expression of longing completed the effect, and made many netizens compliment her on her acting skills.

f(x)‘s Sulli shook the hearts of male fans everywhere with her aegyo-filled smile.

The producer of MBC FM‘s ‘Shim Shim Tapa‘, Son Han Suh ,shared several pictures through his Twitter of the idol. He explained, “Sulli, who came as the ‘Shim Shim Tapa’ one-day DJ is today’s shining light. This was from before the live broadcast, when she arrived early and became so happy from the snacks she received from fans.”

Sulli seems truly delighted over the gifts, as she couldn’t stop smiling for the camera. In one picture, she’s seen hugging a teddy bear, and in the other picture, she poses adorably with her snacks.

Netizens commented, “Sulli is totally cute”, “That’s a killer smile that will melt her uncle fans”, and “Her smiling face is really pretty.”

Sulli filled in as a one-day DJ on ‘Shim Shim Tapa’ for Super Junior‘s Shindong on October 26th, who is currently on vacation.

Eunjung reveals photos from her upcoming historical drama, ‘The King’s Mother’

Earlier, we reported that T-ara‘s Eunjung scored a major role in the upcoming historical drama, ‘The King’s Mother‘. Curious fans finally got a glimpse into the program today after officials shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the filming set!

Eunjung, who’ll play the younger version of veteran actress Choi Shi Ra, attended her first shoot at a set in Kyung-nam on October 24th. Despite the cold weather, Eunjung showed unwavering dedication and stamina while filming, since it was a role that she’d always wanted to do.

‘The King’s Mother’ will revolve around the story of King Seongjong‘s mother, Queen Insu, and the political struggles she faced during her lifetime. With Queen Insu as the center role, the drama will depict the rivalries and conflicts between the palace’s three most notable women.

Directed by PD Lee Tae Gon (‘The Last Scandal of My Life‘) and written by Jung Ha Yeon (‘The Last Empress‘), ‘The King’s Mother’ will run for a total of 50 episodes and will air its first episode on December 3rd.

Hyomin’s late night photos reveal her natural beauty

T-ara member Hyomin cemented her status as a a “natural beauty” with a tweet recently.

Hyomin posted on Twitter, “I still can’t sleep after writing in my diary so by myself next to the night stand. Hm. The convulsions are coming. I need to hurry and go to sleep~ Everyone wrap yourself tightly in your blankets and sleep well.” Fans noticed that Hyomin was wearing no make-up in the photos she posted, and wondered why she wore make-up at all.

Followers on Twitter commented, “This is a real bare face,” “You look younger and prettier without make-up,” and “If you don’t sleep until 5AM, you’ll be tired. Please be healthy.”

INFINITE and T-ara help out children with disabilities

On October 27th, Nongshim‘s Sharing Love Volunteer Association visited the ‘Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation’ to help children with disabilities.

The ‘Sharing Love Volunteer Association’ was joined by 40 volunteers, including popular idol groupsINFINITE and T-ara. In addition to a magic show and various games put on for the children, volunteers also presented the facility with 100 boxes of Nongshim’s Shin Ramyun.

The T-ara girls stated, “While spending time with the children as participants of the Sharing Love Volunteer Association, we learned that love becomes more beautiful when it’s expressed and shared with others.”

Nongshim will also be sponsoring a ‘Sharing Love Concert’ on November 6th, featuring artists such as SNSD, Brown Eyed Girls, T-ara, Teen Top, MBLAQ, Davichi, and Kim Hyun Joong.

KARA’s “Step” grabs #1 on Taiwanese ringtone charts

KARA rose to the top of ringtone charts in Taiwan with their latest Korean track, “Step.”

The single is reported to be in 1st place on Taiwan’s most popular ringtone music sites. “Step” previously reached first place on Japanese ringtone sites as well. Though they’ve concluded promotions for the track, it seems that it’s still going strong amongst international fans.

KARA finished promoting their 5th Japanese single “Winter Magic” on October 25th, and four of the members have returned to Korea. Member Gyuri remains in Japan for her musical, ‘200 Pounds Beauty‘.

T-ara are having three mini live concerts in Japan again like for their "Bo Peep Bo Peep" release but this time it's for Christmas! The tickets are given away through a lottery type system again like for "Bo Peep Bo Peep" too but this time it's for when you buy T-ara's new "yayaya" singles in Japan. You will get a serial number which will say if you have a ticket to the concerts or not.

After School's JungAh and 4minute's Hyunah "Our composer is too much"

After School's JungAh and 4minute's Hyunah told a story about their composer's anger during recording.

In KBS2 'Win Win' (MC Kim Seungwoo, Jung Jaeyong, Lee Sugeun, Lee Kikwang) on 25th October, Shinsadong Tiger and Brave Brothers revealed their rigorous training.

Brave Brothers revealed, "I won't ask them to sing if they're not ready. I could even send them home during the recording." He also said that he will give more parts of the song to members who are better in singing. To those who can't do it well, he will not even give them 2 words.

After School's JungAh responded to his statement. "I even went home with nothing done. I become more nervous during the actual recording. I still feel scary (toward him) until now. But if we are done with the recording, he turns into a kind person. One time, he asked me to repeat the part again and again, and I went home without anything done." Gahee also recalled, "He keep on asking us to repeat a letter again and again. That's why we're getting more nervous, and can't do better."

Lee Sugeun asked them, "By any chance, don't you think he did that because he wants to see After School for a longer time? He feels good inside." And bring some big laughter.

4minute's Hyunah revealed, "I wanted to change my rap image, but Shinsadong Tiger won't give me any song parts. He even gave me a part that doesn't suit my voice at all, and keeps on teasing me." Shinsadong Tiger's explanation brought more laughter, "I did that dramatically because I want to warn her not to sing anymore."

Meanwhile, Brave Brothers and Shinsadong Tiger revealed their shocking life hardships to become a hit composer, and their way before been called as a 'Midas hand'.

HyunA plays around with colored contacts

4minute‘s HyunA upgraded her exotic image with some recent selcas.

Recently, she posted a new message on her Twitter which read “Transformation.” The post was followed by a series of three selcas, which sees HyunA playing around with her new colored contacts. with alluring smokey makeup and stunning light brown colored contacts.

Her pale skin, bright hair and smoky eye-makeup made her eyes stand out even more, and its caused netizens to buzz over her sex appeal. “HyunA’s colored contacts selcas are stunning,” a few said. Others left comments like “They look like cat eyes” and “You’re right in between sexy and cute.”

HyunA and her Cube Entertainment family members will be heading to London for their United Cube Concert in early December.
