f(x)’s Krystal joins Instagram

More and more ladies from SM Entertainment are joining Instagram and Krystal just opened her new account.

The f(x) member opened an account while she was in New Zealand, and the first two photos she posted featured a hot chocolate cup with her lipstick printed on the mouthpiece, and a photo of herself that was taken by Amber.

To reassure fans that the account was real, Amber herself confirmed the account by telling fans to follow Krystal’s account and taking a screenshot of Krystal’s screenname with the words, “Follow the princess on insta!!”

Davichi achieve their third consecutive win on the ‘Soribada’ chart with “Melting”

Music lovers must have really missed Davichi during their long hiatus because they have dominated music charts once again. This time, the talented duo have struck gold with their latest single “Melting” (“Be Warmed“) from their 2nd full-length album ‘Mystic Ballad 1990‘.

A ‘Soribada’ representative revealed, “Davichi’s ‘Melting’ ranked #1 for the first week of April (4/1-4/7). Davichi is dominating the music chart with their latest 3 singles, which all ranked #1 consecutively. Also, songs that are perfect for spring are rising up the chart.”

This is the third single from their new album to top the music chart following “Turtle” and “Take A Drink Together“. Davichi previously released the “Melting” MV as a surprise treat for fans on the 1st. Skilled rapper Verbal Jint wrote the song for Davichi, the first time he has ever written a song for another artist, and he also features in the music video.

K.Will‘s “Love Blossom” came close in 2nd place, while Akdong Musician‘s “Confessions of a Foreigner” ranked 3rd.

Davichi clears up rumors of being ‘business duo’

Davichi, who is one of Korea’s most beloved female duos, found themselves surrounded by rumors that they only have a “business relationship” and are not really close with each other.

The duo appeared as guests on SBS ‘Challenge 1000 Songs’ on April 7th. During the show, MC Lee Hwi Jae asked, “There is a rumor that you guys are just a business duo. The rumor says that your relationship is not that good. Is that true?”

Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung and Lee Haeri strongly denied the claims and explained, “The rumor started roaming around since out debut. Our friendship is just fine, and we share everything.”

Kang Min Kyung continued to prove their closeness by saying, I even have all sorts of classified photos of Lee Haeri in my cellphone.” She gave some laugh by adding, “If my phone is ever hacked into, Haeri unnie will be in big trouble.”

Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung shatters comedian Jo Sae Ho’s dreams

Kang Min Kyung swiftly dashed the hopes of comedian Jo Sae Ho who tried to get closer to her.

The two stars appeared on the April 7th broadcast of SBS’ ‘1000 Song Challenge‘, where Jo Sae Ho shared, “I really like Davichi,” unable to take his eyes off the beautiful singer.

The MCs then asked, “Do you think you can exchange numbers with Kang Min Kyung? Do you think you guys can get close enough to share how you are doing?”  Kang Min Kyung responded, “I have two cell phones,” causing everyone to laugh.

Jang Yoon Jung interpreted Kang Min Kyung’s words and said, “What she is trying to say is that she has a phone that she does not pick up.” Jo Sae Ho replied, “That’s harsh,” and could not hide his disappointment.

f(x) fly to New Zealand for their new reality show ‘Amazing f(x)’

Fans will be able follow f(x) day to day on their new reality show ’Amazing f(x)‘!

According to a representative of the show, ‘Amazing f(x)’ will follow the girls of f(x) on their  journey exploring the culture of New Zealand. The show will also give viewers an inside look into the group’s lives offstage.

‘Amazing f(x)’ will be the f(x)’s third reality show following Y-STAR‘s ‘Hello f(x)‘ and MBC Every1‘s ‘f(x)’s Koala‘. Amber was unable to feature in ‘f(x)’s Koala’ due to her leg injury at the time, so fans are definitely more than excited to watch all five members together on screen in their new series.

Core Contents Media confirms the debut of T-ara’s subunit for May

Music industry insiders were right for Core Contents Media has broken their silence, now confirming the launch of T-ara‘s very own subunit consisting of 4 members, Jiyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Areum!

The agency officially announced their plans while announcing the date of May 1st as the scheduled debut of the unit with their track produced by Duble Sidekick.

The track is said to be inspired by the old-school drama ‘Country Side Life‘, which will also be the name of the girls’ title track. “‘Country Side Life’ is based off MBC’s long-running drama of the same name, taking its main theme as the song’s motive. Through the lyrics, the song talks about the feelings of wanting to escape the confinements of everyday life,” said the agency.

The song will be a strong dance track that will have elements of hip hop, like ‘Dispatch‘ guessed atearlier, and the performance as well as their styling will show you a different side of T-ara.

The name of the unit still has not been announced, but you can bet that more details will be dropped asthe end of the month approaches!
