SHINee and f(x)'s Krystal and Sulli performed a 30-second musical for their new 'Etude House' CF!

SHINee performed a magic show as they made their princesses Krystal and Sulli appear out of thin air. The labelmates then performed a mini musical as they danced around in glee, showing the magical effects of 'Etude House's 'Magic Any Cushion'.

SISTAR’s Soyu expresses plans on collaborating with more artists

SISTAR’s Soyu expressed her desire and plans to collaborate with more artists.

Following her victorious musical collaboration with Mad Clown in 'Stupid in Love' and with Junggigo in 'Some,' Soyu wants to expand more her networks and to explore on more musical genres. The two previous collaborations created an overwhelming popularity for the two parties. The first one with Mad Clown hit the top spots on national music charts, while the second one with Junggigo gave them a triple crown last week.

Starship Entertainment has expressed their support on SISTAR's members other and individual musical endeavors.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Donghae’s “RIDE ME” lands on 3rd spot on Oricon Daily Chart

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Donghae's first studio album, 'Ride Me,' ranked third on Oricon Daily Chart on its release day.

On February 26th, Eunhyuk and Donghae released their album. On that the same day, it sold more than 18,000 album copies making it to land on the third spot of Oricon Daily Chart. 'Ride Me' has 13 tracks of pop, dance and ballad genres. Its title track is 'Motorcycle.' 

Eunhyuk and Donghae are in Japan to perform their first ever tour in the country. The show is set in Nagoya on March 3rd.

JungGiGo and Soyu talk about the advantages of working together + perform 'Some' on 'Sketchbook'

On February 28, Soyu and JungGiGo appeared on KBS 2TV's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' and talked about how it was different promoting together as a duo than promoting normally with Soyu inSISTAR and JungGiGo by himself or with other male singers.

Yoo Hee Yeol asked JungGiGo, "How is it working with a female singer after working with only male singers?"  JungGiGo said, "It's nice.  My friends are so jealous.  I've been promoting for a long time, but my friends had shown any interest before."

He continued, "Then reports went out that I was working with Soyu and even friends from when I was way younger suddenly texted me.  If it had been very long since you texted someone, you usually start with 'Hey, it's been a while,' or, 'How have you been?' but they just straight-out asked, 'Hey, is SISTAR pretty?'  I got like five of those texts a day."

Yoo Hee Yeol could completely understand, saying his friends would never ask him about his music but would ask whether he saw Girls' Generation.  He also asked Soyu how promoting in such collaborations was different from promoting with SISTAR.

She said, "It's fun.  I can show an individual color that I can't show in SISTAR."

[Drama Review] 'Emergency Couple' - Episode 9

EMERGENCY COUPLE EPISODE 9

Some fascinating revelations in this episode, a.k.a., what was I thinking?

Jin Ae is more of a human being than I initially gave her credit for. When Little Guk is brought to the ER for a second time, Jin Ae shows up, full of tears and concern for her child. I owe a tip of the hat to my readers, who told me I was way off-base with my initial impressions of her. I just wrote her off when she was unapologetic about stealing and pawning the wedding ring. The scenes in which her husband describes the fact that he could never find her indicated that she simply left the child in his care and gallivanted all over South Korea and beyond. Turns out she works 3 part-time jobs, which leaves her no time to spend with her family. The scenes of her watching Little Guk fight for his life, tears in her eyes, were touching. 

More secrets are revealed in a phone conversation Ji Hye has with an unknown party. Apparently she has some connection with a child who is hospitalized somewhere and she has a say about his care. Is this her child? She carries on the conversation in perfect English, as well. Is this person in the States? And who was she talking to? And does Dr. Guk know any of this? It seems she didn't want him to since she walked away, but I've excused myself to take very non-secret phone calls from time to time...

Poor Jin Hee seems to get herself into hilarious scrapes that she can't quite extricate herself from. When Chang Min shows his caring streak by tucking her in so she could sleep off a drunken night, he would have never imagined that he set her up to awake next to Chief Guk! This serves to create awkward situations with not only Chief Guk but those close to him, andJin Hee blurts it out during a meeting with Ji Hye. Chang Min sees her and Dr. Guktogether (as he does every episode) and Ji Hye knows, so there's jealousy from two corners going on. Of course Chang Min jumps to conclusions, but I still have to wonder: I don't generally lie down unless exhausted, and even then I'm keenly aware of someone else in my bed. On the other hand I (A) don't work at a hospital, and (B) have never had a staff room with beds. Closest I've come to that is napping in my chair during a lunch break.

And when Jin Hee finds out she owes her job to Chang Min, her reaction is not at all what I expected. Instead of gratitude, it's anger -- she interprets this as Chang Min thinking she's too pitiful to be a doctor without his help. So when Dr. Guk is responsible it's okay, but when it's Chang Min, it's not okay?  I guess there's six plus years of history there that I'm not taking into account, but I wish that she would be just a bit grateful. It could almost be framed as quid pro quo -- you saved my mom's life, I saved your job. But no one goes the simple, easy route, and they both explode in anger. 

Chang Min seems to sink further and further every episode. It seems like most things he tries blow up in his face. He apparently can't diagnose a patient to save his life, or anyone else's, for that matter.  He couldn't get through to a hard-of-hearing patient without Jin Hee'shelp, and he has to be bailed out when a misdiagnosis brings Little Guk back to the ER. When he tries to help out Jin Hee, he even fouls that up and puts her in an awkward situation. What's unusual is that he comes from a long line of doctors, so I was hoping that more knowledge and less influence would be the key to his success. Instead, it seems to be the reverse? Will he then be asking for more favors, merely to keep his job?

As far as relationships go, I really didn't see the end come down like that. Chang Minconfesses to Ah Reum he's not interested in dating, she says to keep her in mind and ask her out when he's ready. Okay, fair enough. But when he and Jin Hee fight on the roof, it finally comes out that it's awkward for him that his ex-wife is dating. He says he doesn't want her dating Chief Guk, or really anyone for that matter. Is this supposed to foreshadow them getting back together? If so it will be a hard thing to manage. As much as he has tender feelings for her, she seems to detest him.   

And if Chang Min isn't interested in Ah Reum right now, that leaves the path open for Yong Gyu to woo her, which he is wildly unsuccessful at. This time, he films himself singing and proposing to her, then sends it to everybody. He seems more excited than perturbed about this, even though people usually mean to send it to one person, but instead send it to everyone on the contacts list, resulting in embarrassment because everyone knows they like someone they all know. Ah Reum knows he exists, at least, but it certainly doesn't seem like she's interested in him. Although, to be fair, it is too early to tell. 

Sung Sook isn't done annoying us yet. Sung Sook continues to try and find out what the conversation between Chang Min and his uncle entailed. The fact that it's a secret that no one is willing to share with her seems to entice more than deter her. And she also finds the present Jin Hee gave to her ex-husband as a thank you for helping her through medical school. I'm not sure what she will do with that information, but I'm sure it's nothing good. She seems particularly upset when she finds out, but she shouldn't be rifling through someone else's desk drawers anyway. Frankly, I was hoping she'd accidentally set off a mousetrap while doing that.

The five episodes are 'Rumor,' 'Outing,' 'No One To Believe in this World,' 'On the Way to Training Camp,' and 'Play Girl.'

Donghae is in 'Rumor' with INY’s Woorin. Ari is with the newcomer actor Kim Taewan in 'Outing.' Song Seunghyun stars 'No One to Believe in this World.' Nam Jihyun joins the cast of 'On The Way To Training Camp' with actor Goowon and actress Jung Haein. 'Play Girl' features Seo Eunah and Kim Sunah of 'Reply 1997'.
