T-ara’s Soyeon explains her “68 Soyeon” nickname

T-ara’s Soyeon made a guest appearance on MBC’s “Quiz That Changes The World” this week, where she finally gave an explanation behind her nickname, ‘68 Soyeon’.

During the episode, Soyeon stated, “I was born in ‘87, but everyone probably thinks I was born in ‘68.”

Gagwoman Kim Shin Young added, “We used to appear on broadcasts together, and I found out that she knew all the lyrics and dance moves to really old songs; even the way she talks is different from how kids normally speak these days.”

Soyeon went on to explain, “I grew up with my grandmother. About all those old songs… I had a lot of aunts in the house, and they all liked having a lot of fun. I was there with my aunts when they were at the peak of their golden ages, and I think I just naturally learned songs through that.”

When asked what kind of songs her aunts were into, Soyeon stood up to perform a few trot songs (and their respective choreographies), proving just why she earned the nickname, ‘68 Soyeon’.

T-ara wins Inkigayo Mutizen + other performances

SBS’s Inkigayo is back once again, and this week’s show was full of amazing and fun performances from the top participating K-pop artists!

The ‘Take 7‘ nominees for this week’s show were 2PM (“Hands Up“), SECRET (“Starlight Moonlight“), MBLAQ (“Mona Lisa“), Girl’s Day (“Hug Me Once“), HyunA (“Bubble Pop!“), T-ara(“Roly-Poly“) and 8eight (“Close That Lip“). All of them were present to perform their hits.

We had a new winner this week as it was announced that T-ara had won the Mutizen award. This was their 3rd win since making a comeback with “Roly-Poly”, having won twice before on M! Countdown.

KARA celebrates Seungyeon’s birthday + Hara & Jiyoung’s third anniversary

July 24th is a special day for Kamilias, as it’s not only Seungyeon’s 24th birthday, but also the 3rd debut anniversary of members Hara and Jiyoung, who were late additions to the group.

Through her Twitter, Hara shared moments from their small party with two photo updates. She wrote, “Seungyeon unni’s happy birthday & Hara, Jiyoung’s third year anniversary.”

Dressed in matching red and white outfits, the girls pose playfully for their Polaroid picture.

On July 23rd, the ladies of T-ara met up with the original retro queen, actress Shim Eun Kyung!

Hyomin tweeted three pictures of the meeting, which took backstage on MBC’s ‘Music Core‘, along with the caption, “Together with the retro queen, keke.” Since the girls are currently promoting an ’80s concept reminiscent of the hit summer film, “Sunny“, the meeting was a special one for both the girls and their fans.

Netizens commented, “Shim Eun Kyung looks just like her role in the movie”, and “She’s adorable even next to T-ara.”

“Sunny” is currently awaiting the release of the director’s version on July 18th.

Lee Jang Woo gets embarrassed after on-air kiss

On the latest episode of ‘We got Married‘ that aired on the 23rd, the Lee Jang Woo and Ham Eun Jung couple spent the last day of their honeymoon in Malaysia.

The two were enjoying themselves on the beach when suddenly Lee Jang Woo offered to give Ham Eun Jung a sand bath, and started burying her beneath the sand.

Once she was buried deep and left immobilised under sand, he very casually laid next to her, by which his on-air wife was a bit taken aback.

He stared at her for a good long while then acted like he was going to dust off the sand on her face when all of a sudden, he planted a kiss, right on her cheek. Embarrassed, he quickly ran towards the ocean.

Ham Eun Jung got herself up out of the sand and further embarrassed her on-air husband as she demanded to know if he buried her just to steal a kiss, which evoked a lot of laughter from the viewers.

Meanwhile, the scene where the couple performed T-ARA’s “Bo Beep Bo Beep” dance for a foreign couple is gaining much attention as it’s becoming viral on the internet.

We Got Married’s season3 couple Nichkhun & Victoria romance is more sweet than any other couple on WGM. Thats why most of the viewers call them Khuntoria. Their Affection on the show seems like they are actually dating off air.

On the recent broadcast of WGM the two had Breakfast scene, in which Victoria wake up Nichkhun but he didnt woke up untill Victoria put his head on her lap. Victoria lovingly stroke his hairs and after that Nichkhun gave a big hug to her.
