T-ara releases “Roly-Poly in Copacabana”

Yesterday, we reported that T-ara would be continuing promotions with “Roly-Poly in Copacabana“.

On August 2nd, T-ara released their new audio track “Roly Poly in Copacabana” and will be releasing the song’s music video tomorrow, on August 3rd.

“Roly Poly in Copacabana” was named after a popular disco club from the ’80s and they felt that this remake of ”Roly Poly” would be a better fit for a summer vacation.

A representative stated,

“‘Roly Poly in Copacabana’ was scheduled to be released at 9 PM but due to fans’ requests and the fact that we delayed the release of the previous music video’s part 2, we decided to release the song in advance to thank the fans for their support.

The ‘Roly Poly in Copacabana’ music video is taking some time because it was filmed separately and is being edited to meet the standard of perfection.“

The new music video was filmed in a way to remind 40-50 year olds of their memorable school days and the memories of their vacations. In the concept photos, the girls are found wearing school uniforms and red sweats. It has been said that much effort was put into the making of the song in order to revive the music style of the time and the instruments that they used.

T-ara will begin promotions for “Roly Poly in Copacabana” on music programs this week.

Yoo Jae Suk gives f(x)’s Sulli a piggyback ride for “Running Man” + other pairings revealed!

On August 2nd, a picture of the nation’s MC Yoo Jae Suk garnered much interest from netizens, as he’s seen piggy-backing f(x)’s Sulli through the streets.

It was revealed that the two were filming for SBS’s ’Running Man‘. Yoo Jae Suk looks rather exhausted, carrying Sulli on his back as he runs full speed in a uniform.

Netizens commented, “He’s got a giant baby on his back“, “He’s so obviously tired from the running“, and “I can’t wait to watch the Sulli episode!”

Apart from the above, photos of other pairings have since been leaked by netizens who happened to be around the area of filming. Apart from Ji Suk Jin whose partner remains unknown due to a relative lack of interest, the other pairings are as follows:

T-ara’s Hyomin says goodbye to her ‘Gisaeng Ryung’ script

T-ara’s Hyomin took a memorial photo with her ‘Gisaeng Ryung‘ movie script.

On August 1st, she shared, “My handmade ‘Gisaeng Ryung’ script that I’ve grown so attached to, now it’s goodbye. But on August 4th, the script will be unfolded via the big screen. Coming Soon.”

In the photo, Hyomin is seen wearing a pretty dress with a big ribbon in her hair while she poses with the eye-catching ‘Gisaeng Ryung’ script in her hand. It has been revealed before that the creepy drawing on the cover was drawn by Hyomin herself.

Netizens who viewed this photo commented, “I’m supposed to be scared but you’re too pretty“, “I want to hurry up and see the movie!“, and “This picture is really pretty“.

Jiyeon’s “model” brother revealed to the public

T-ara’s Jiyeon was revealed to have a brother named Park Hyo Joon.

His fame shot skyward after netizens discovered his modelling shots from Noh Hong Chul’s internet men’s clothing store, ‘NohHongChul.com‘. At the time, comments pointed out the similarity of this model’s eyes to Jiyeon’s.

It was later discovered that Park Hyo Joon was Jiyeon’s brother, after a photo of the two was found on Jiyeon’s Twitter and garnered a lot of interest. The two were labeled as the ’superior siblings.

Park Hyo Joon stands at 180cm (5′11″), has immaculate skin, and is very fashionable. He basically meets every criteria there is of being the ultimate ‘flower boy’. As an aspiring actor and model, he confessed, “I used to get a bit depressed when I was addressed as Jiyeon’s brother more than as model Park Hyo Joon,” but added, “However, right now, I want what’s best for both my sister and I. I’m striving to participate in different activities and grow as not just a model, but as a singer as well“.

Netizens commented, “It’s going to be hard to get noticed as someone else other than Jiyeon’s brother, since he started getting famous for it“, “He has the perfect face of an idol, he should debut already” and “Are they going to be like the Kim Tae Hee sibling pairing?“.

Nichkhun and Victoria head to the Maldives

2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria headed to the beautiful Maldives on August 1st for a sweet getaway.

According to a representative for MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘, the couple flew to the Maldives earlier today. He stated, “The two will return on August 6th, after completing filming for 5 nights and 6 days.”

The couple previously went on trips together for photoshoots, but the purpose of this special trip is for relaxation and to spend some time together on their own.

The representative raised anticipation of their trip by saying, “I can’t explicitly reveal what they’ll do during their trip, but their relationship will get even closer.”

During July 30th’s broadcast of ‘We Got Married’, Nichkhun and Victoria tried their hand at farming by planting peppers and lettuce. The two bickered during the process due to a disagreement, but later made up with deep ’skinship’. Next week’s preview shows them visiting Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae.
