Core Contents Media refutes rumors of T-ara’s special college admissions

T-ara‘s agency, Core Contents Media has refuted the rumors about Jiyeon and Hwayoung‘s acceptances of special college admissions offers as “groundless”.

Rumors about Jiyeon entering Sunkyunkwan University through special admissions have been circulating online.

In response, Core Contents Media stated, “Jiyeon and Hwayoung are seniors in high school and are currently preparing for college entrance. We have never even given thought to special admissions; those stories are groundless rumors.”

1. They added, “Their major will be one that allows them to make the best out of their talents.”

On a related note, T-ara has reached #1 on Japan’s Oricon Chart with “Bo Peep Bo Peep”, and will be making their Korean comeback in November.

T-ara releases preview for Japanese “YaYaYa” release

Girl group T-ara‘s music video preview for the Japenese version of “YaYaYa” was recently released during a Japanese broadcast.

T-ara first began their promotion in Japan through the release of their debut single, ”Bo Peep Bo Peep“, on October 4. The single sold 49,712 copies, breaking the record of all Korean girl groups in Japan.

They will return with “YaYaYa” as the preview was recently broadcasted in a Japanese show. The preview hints towards a music video with no storyline, instead focusing more on the girls and the dance choreography.

KARA reveals album jacket and tracklist for Japanese 'Super Girl'

KARA recently returned to Japan, and now currently promoting their new Japanese single, “Winter Magic”. The girls has been working hard making them the top Korean girl group in Japan.

Continuing the momentum, Kara will be releasing another Japanese full length album entitled "Super Girl", which will be released on November 23rd. Prior to the that, the group revealed the full tracklist and the album jacket photos through their official Japanese website.

"Super Girl" comes in regular editions and three limited editions. The regular edition contains 10 tracks including their current single "Winter Magic" and the previously released singles "Jetcoaster Love" and "Go Go Summer".

Limited edition A includes the 10 main tracks and three bonus songs; "Jumping", "Mister" and "Step". It also includes DVD which contains music videos, live performances and behind-the-scenes footage.

Limited edition B includes all main and bonus tracks together with 36-page photobook, while limited edition C will only contain the songs and bonus tracks.

T-ara's Jiyeon and Hwayoung "Preparing hard for collage without special admission"

Girl group members Jiyeon and Hwayoung were recently associated to rumors that they would be specially admitted to college, but they denied these claims and call these rumors "completely unfounded" and said they are preparing for college like everyone else.

T-ara's agency said, "T-ara's Hwayoung and Jiyeon are currently in their last year of high school and are preparing hard for college. We were not even aware of when the special admissions rumors started, but those stories are completely false." Internet communities were full of rumors before that Jiyeon would be specially admitted to Sungkyukwan University in the vocal department.

They continued, "The girls are studying hard to bring their forward their best academic and talent skills."

Meanwhile, T-ara's Japanese debut song "Bo Peep Bo Peep" debuted at #1 on it's week of release on the Oricon charts and they are currently preparing for a November comeback in Korea and Japan.

T-ara releases Japanese 'YaYaYa' preview

T-ara revealed a music video preview for their Japanese version of "YaYaYa" during a Japanese broadcast.

Just few days ago, the group gave us a sneak peek of "YaYaYa" music video set while giving a congratulatory message for Chinese group J One. Today, T-ara released a preview which focuses more on the girls and their dance choreography.

How Celebs Hide their No Makeup Face

What is the secret to celebrities’ early morning airport fashion? We’re talking about the wee hours of the early morning.

Airport fashion has always been an important part of a celebrity’s image. When stars arrive at the airport, they present themselves in front of crowds of fans. Because fans are within close distance, it is important that stars keep their image in tip-top shape. Typically, celebrities will have little to no makeup, and some even go in sweatpants.

On Oct. 12, a number of popular idol groups arrived at Incheon Airport. SHINee, BEAST and 4minutereturned from the New York Korean Festival. They arrived at the airport at 3:30AM. Because the time was very late, most stars went with a natural look.

However, 3:30AM doesn’t stop fans from coming. To hide their no makeup faces, stars have used a variety of methods, starting from sunglasses to masks.

Sunglasses are always the go-to item for celebrities, because they cover the eyes while still giving off a fashionable look. This look was very popular among our idol members.

SHINee’s Key and Min Ho opted for this look. Key had a uniquely shaped sunglasses, which was a style bonus, and Minho had a black Boewing style.

4minute’s Nam Ji Jyun covered a majority of her face with a pair of chic shades as well. She was able to conceal the dark circles from her hectic schedule and busy lifestyle. Kwon Sohyun sported a pair of black over-sized sunglasses which were perfect for her small face.

Bending the head and covering the face with the palm is another method that some celebrities use. 4minute was the representative for this method at the airport.

HyunA was the most direct with this method. As soon as she stepped off the plane, she held her palm over the bottom half of her face and bent her head down low. Bending the head down at a slight angle gives this method two times the effect.

Huh Ga Yoon also covered her face with her hand. Because she was able to walk so quickly, she was able to avoid the camera’s watchful lens as well.

4minute Their Transformation Into Franscesca Family

Girl group 4minute revealed a photo of them with no expressions.

4minute's Sohyun uploaded the photos from her own Twitter account with a caption, "Franscesca Family!! A photo with no expression !!! 4minutefranscesca Hihihihihi"

We can see in the picture that 4minute was imitating the poster of past MBC drama, "Hello Franscesca". To make a similar image, they wore a dark outfit and stared at the camera with no expression.

Netizens who saw the photos expressed different reactions, "I can see that Sohyun is holding back her laughter" "It's scarier because Hyunah's lips are so red" "It's supposed to be a scary expression, but it's rather cute!"

Meanwhile, 4minute will be performing in London, England on 6th December with the Cube Entertainment Family (BEAST, G.NA, etc) for 'United Cube Concert'.

Cube Ent First Hallyu Stage in South America?

Cube Entertainment has opened their concert stage in South Korea, Japan, East Asia, and even in England. They're receiving some extraordinary interest from the music industry because of their plan on opening a concert in South America.

Cube Entertainment is the agency of BEAST, 4minute, G.NA, etc. They're currently planning on some concerts in South America (Brazil, etc) for this year. If they accomplish their plan, this will be the first Hallyu concert in South America.

Hong Seungseong (CEO of Cube Entertainment) revealed on the opening of United Cube Concert that he's currently pushing on some concerts in Europe and South America. Just like what he said, they achieved their plan for a European concert. According to several officials from the music industry, the concert plan in South America is now closer to achievement.

Everyone knows that Hallyu is also popular in Mexico, Brazil, etc. Hallyu stars like SNSD & 2PM were surprised by the power of South America's local fandom. They revealed that they want to meet their fans there. If they're able to open a concert there, it will be a big chance for Hallyu Wave to enter South America.

United Cube Concert was successfully held in Seoul and Japan. The concert in Japan was held in Boudokan (Tokyo) and was mobilized by more than 10,000 fans. The next concert will be held in the O2 Brixton Academy, London, England.
