2PM to come back with 3rd full-length album

Six-member idol group 2PM will be making a comeback after nearly two years away from the K-pop scene.

According to JYP Entertainment, 2PM will be releasing their 3rd full-length album within this year. After the group’s release of their 2nd album ‘Hands Up‘ in July of 2011, the members have been focusing on their Asia Tour and Japanese promotions as well as other overseas activities.

It was originally planned for 2PM to make a comeback in the second half of 2012, but the plans were postponed due to Nichkhun‘s DUI incident.

Though full details have not been announced as of yet, it’s expected that the 3rd album will be released after 2PM’s Japan Arena Tour.

A representative from the agency stated, “Within this year, all the members including Nichkhun will be meeting their domestic fans with a comeback. Though it’s early in the year and more specifics can’t be revealed yet, we’ll probably start announcing more details about the album in 1-2 months.”

2PM is currently preparing for their Japan Area Tour, which will start on the 11th at Fukuoka Marine Messe. the tour will include a total of 13 concerts, 6 venues, and more than 150,000 fans are expected to gather. They’ll also be releasing their 2nd full-length Japanese album, ‘Legend of 2PM‘, on February 13th.

Super Junior-M holds successful press conference for ‘Break Down’

Super Junior-M held a successful press conference in Beijing to celebrate the release of its second studio album, ‘Break Down’. The event took place at Beijing’s CGV Cinema on January 7th, and 200 fans were in attendance who came on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Despite the cold weather, fans waited in line all night in front of the theater as well as at the airport to catch a glimpse of the group. Several media outlets like MTV, Hunan Satellite TV, Sina, Sohu and more also attended to cover the press conference.

The members showed off their fluent Chinese skills during the event. They also discussed the concept for ‘Break Down’ and shared some behind-the-scenes stories from filming the music video.

Meanwhile, the members of Super Junior-M are currently remaining in China to vigorously promote their latest album.

Super Junior-M recently held a successful press conference for their upcoming 2nd album, ‘Break Down‘, at Beijing’s CGV Cinema on the 7th.

Various media outlets as well as 200 fans were granted the special opportunity to join Super Junior-M at the event. Fans waited in line overnight in front of the theater as well as at the airport to catch a glimpse of the group.

SM Entertainment revealed that Super Junior-M were able to get closer to their Chinese fans by greeting them in their language, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from filming the “Break Down” music video, and introducing their upcoming album during the press conference.

Super Junior-M also announced that they will hold fan meetings across Asia starting in Nanjing, China on the 19th.

Minho, Lee Joon, Sulli, Kwanghee & more on Running Man

Running Man filed the "2013 Olympic special". 

The photos of the filing of the upcoming episode of Running Man were shared online. The guests filmed the show in Incheon. 

SHINee's Minho, INFINITE's L, f(x)'s Sulli, CN Blue's Yonghwa and Jonghyun, ZE:A's Kwanghee and MBLAQ's Lee Joon were invited on the show.

Soyeon to possibly restart her acting career in "Iris 2"

T-ara's Soyeon is interested in re-challenging herself in acting.

Soyeon is currently being considered to be cast in the KBS 2TV mini-series "Iris 2". Idols BEAST's Yoon Doojoon as well as MBLAQ's Lee Joon have already been cast.

An "Iris 2" official said it's not definitely decided, but said on the 7th to Sports Korea, "Soyeon is being positively considered to join the cast. Soyeon would play an agent in the drama and we are interested in casting someone with a similar image to her."

Last August, Soyeon challenged herself in acting for the first time through KBS 2TV's mini series "Haeundae Lovers". Soyeon play Lee Kwansoon in the drama, but after a bullying controversy and a traffic accident set her back, her role was virtually removed from the drama. Soyeon would re-begin her acting career in "Iris 2" if she joins.

"Iris 2" is the follow-up to 2010's Iris with Lee Byunghun and Kim Taehee. The drama will begin airing in February.
