[News] T-ara's Jiyeon, WG's Sohee, and IU are Working Too Late at Night

A lot of underaged idols participate in late-night recordings nowadays.

On the 16th, An Hyunhwan of the South Korean Cuture and Tourism Assembly made a statement regarding the need of limited recording time schedules for underaged celebrities because it takes time away from their education.

They have made an example of one of SHINee's Taemin's (17) recording for one show, which was shot from 8:00PM-11:00PM. They've also mentioned that Wonder Girls members Sohee (18) and Hyerim (18) have participated in recordings that went all the way up to 03:00AM.

Additionally, T-ara's Jiyeon (17) and IU (17) were mentioned recording for two different programs themselves which follow similar schedules.

The Assembly have said that underaged celebrities must record shows up to no later than 10:00PM. They have also mentioned that, in the UK, celebrities under the age of 16 cannot even participate in activities later than 09:30PM.

"Celebrities of minor age should be given environments according to their ages. These types of guidelines must be enforced in the broadcasting industry," said An Hyunghwan.
