Kyuhyun accepts that Younha is a better singer than YoonA on 'Radio Star'

Younha was a guest on the May 21 installment of MBC's 'Radio Star', leading to some light comparison between herself and YoonA, who has a similar name. 

On this day, Younha said, "When I said that Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and singerIU sang really well it got misreported as the three of us were in the top three in terms of singing skills."

The mischievous MCs asked, "Then who does Younha think ranks fourth in terms of singing skills?"  She was unable to answer, so Kim Gu Ra bluntly stated, "Then let's just say Younha is better at singing than Girls' Generation's YoonA," making everyone laugh.

Kyuhyun said, "I will acknowledge that, as well."  Yoon Jong Shin joked that it was a formal acknowledgement by SM.

Jiyeon shares her thought on going solo

T-ara’s member Park Jiyeon has confessed her honest thought on making a solo debut.

In an interview on May 19, Jiyeon shared, “I always greet you as the youngest of T-ara, and now I feel awkward to greet you as a solo artist. When my company suggested me make a solo debut, I told them that I don’t find myself fit fot it yet. However, other members of T-ara and many people encouraged me, so I took the chance. I had pressure that I must cover everything alone, so I practiced a lot, and now I am waiting for the stage.”

Jiyeon is the first member to make a solo debut in T-ara so she is worried even more. She said, "I want to work solo while working as a group, but I felt a lot of pressure when I worked as a solo now.” 

Meanwhile, Jiyeon’s first solo mini album was released with the title song ‘1 Minute 1 Second’. Watch her first performance on Mnet ‘M Count Down’ on May 22.

EXO to perform with 11 members on their concert; Kris' parts have been distributed

With Kris' lawsuit filed against his agency, EXO has confirmed, one day before their very 1st solo concert, that they will proceed with only 11 members.

On 21st, SM Entertainment put up a notice on EXO's homepage, "We are informing you that 11 members are going to perform on 23-25 shows to be held at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium." The agency added, "The current 11 members are making effort to meetyour expectations and promise great stages and performances. Please show a lot of interest."

Furthermore, on an interview with Dispatch on May 22, regarding Kris' parts (choreography, vocals, etc), SM stated that they distributed it among the 11 members and re-align the formations. They said, "It's not an easy task. Members are still trying to adjust with their newly assigned section."

Jiyeon talks about her sexy concept and getting support from IU

During the press conference for her solo debut at the Core Contents Media's practice room on May 19, Jiyeon revealed that she had some say when it came to herdebut solo album.

Jiyeon said, "I wanted a mannish concept and the company president wanted a sexy concept.  I think they took about 30% of my opinion into consideration." She then mentioned Kahi, saying, "She's the person who tried the concept I really want to do."

She was then asked about the difference between her solo stage and T-ara's group stages.  Jiyeon said, "It'll seem different as soon as you see it. It's a different style from T-ara, so the performance in itself will be different. Make sure you watch the performance."

She then chose IU as the friend who gave her the most strength during her preparations for her solo debut. Jiyeon said, "IU gave me a lot of strength. She told me, 'It will feel very lonely and will be very hard for you to do this alone after promoting in a group.' She also advised, 'Don't do a sexy concept. Don't go too sexy.'"

As for her ultimate goal, Jiyeon said with aegyo, "I would like my solo promotions this time to not be the last. I don't know why I want to hear so badly that I look cool. Rather than hearing that I'm sexy, I want to hear that I'm a really cool woman."

11 members of EXO send a video message to fans prior to their upcoming concert

EXO members know that fans might not be staying still waiting for their 1st solo concert so eleven members send a video message for their awaiting fans.

Henry scores his 1st solo endorsement as the new KFC model

According to KFC, Henry's appearance in MBC's military program 'Real Men' which earns him a lot of nicknames such as 'rising variety idol,'army musician','4D youthful charm' and more attract them and decided to pick him as their newest model.

On May 16, Henry appeared at the shooting of his CF  for KFC's new menu 'Garlic Chicken'. The ad is also conceptualized to cheer for the football team of Korea. Henry's energetic behavior and lively facial expression were presented. During the shoot, KFC staff praised Henry for his appetizing approach.

In fact, KFC's marketing manager said, "Henry's distinctive bright and candid image of someone who really loves KFC makes him the perfect model for the ad". The new menu will be served starting on 22nd and the TV ad will be aired on 24th.
