SM Entertainment, one of the biggest entertainment agencies in Korea, will open a multicultural complex called SMTOWN@COEX Artium in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
On December 20, the pre-opening of the cultural space was held at the Coex Artium. At the event, SM artists such as EXO, Girl’s Generation and Super Junior participated in the complex’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. Moreover, the event was also attended by a number of prestigious guests, such as SM’s producer Lee Soo Man, Coex’s president Byun Bo Kyung, and 13 representatives of trade center MICE Cluster.
The cultural complex is designed for local and international fans to experience a day with their favorite stars. Fans can watch SM's virtual concerts and musicals in 3-D images or enjoy their time at many cafes in the complex, they can also purchase products on which logos and photographs of their favorite K-pop groups were printed.
The complex will be officially opening on Jan. 13, 2015.
