SM Entertainment officially announces that they didn't evade taxes + to pay an additional 10,2 billion won



SM Entertainment revealed to pay an additional 10,2 billion won in corporate tax in after a tax audit by the National Tax Service

On June 23rd, an official from SM Entertainment said,"Due to the difference in foreign tax deduction for SM Entertainment Japan, we paid an additional 10,2 billion won in corporate tax","There may be some temporary burdens regarding the corporate tax,but we would like to take this as an opportunity to set up a more robust global business in the future as we have clearly solved all the foreign tax deduction and tax rates". 

It was also confirmed that SM Entertainment didn't evade any taxes regarding the income from overseas business and overseas performances. Also the suspicions related to SM Entertainment's international business and their global real estate turned out to be unfounded.
