SHINee’s Taemin and A Pink’s Na Eun have an open date on the streets of Myeongdong

Though he and A Pink’s Na Eun are supposed to be the least experienced of the bunch, SHINee’sTaemin isn’t afraid to step up to the plate.

On the May 18 episode, Taemin suggested that the two head off to the very popular Myeongdong neighborhood, saying, “I want to date openly where there are a lot of people. It’s such a commonplace thing, but I wanted to do something like that.”

He stated during his solo interview, “If I’m dating, I want to date in front of people without hiding myself. If we weren’t able to be open, I’d feel so sorry to the girl I’m dating. I could even go public with the relationship.”

After enjoying some of the street food and shops, things didn’t work out exactly as Taemin wanted though because he and Na Eun gathered way too large of a crowd following them around. There were even passersby who would make negative comments about the two idols, who silently walked through the throng of people.

Taemin said, “I was worried that Na Eun would hear something negative. I felt really bad.” On the other hand, Na Eun suggested a better alternative, stating, “If I have to go somewhere with a lot of people again, I think I’d like [us] to walk with our earphones in.”
