On November 30th, Mnet hosted its 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre, attracting stars and performers from both Korea and around the world.
The preliminaries were conducted through the evaluation of judges and other music affiliates using data from album sales and song rankings from music sites.
The final judging is “based on viewer votes (Internet, mobile), expert panel evaluations, expert research of preference, album sales, digital combined charts (song sales), and evaluation by the selection committee.”
