Jiyeon’s childhood dream was to become a Tae Kwon Do professional

Member Jiyeon of girl group T-ara shared a dream she had when she was young.
On the July 13th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Star Life Theater‘, Jiyeon reminisced of her younger years as she said, “I liked Tae Kwon Do so much; my dream was to become a Tae Kwon Do professional.
When asked how she became an artist, Jiyeon answered, “When I was young and I didn’t know any better, I was watching a drama on TV and thought I wanted to do that too. I started going to acting classes and started auditioning by myself, and I ended up meeting the company I’m with now. I debuted as an artist, and I got my opportunity to act as well. I think I was extremely lucky.”
The episode also revealed footage of the girls’ first Japanese concert. Remarking that studying Japanese was a difficult task, Jiyeon evoked laughter as she said, “My Japanese level is that of a 4 year old child.”
