For the anniversary of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, the girls of T-ara have announced to donate the entire royalties from their new Japanese single, "Roly-Poly," to support the cause.
On March 11th, T-ara's agency Core Contents Media stated, "In remembrance of the Fukushima nuclear disaster one year ago, T-ARA has thought of all of the painful losses the victims have suffered and wanted a way to repay their Japanese fans for the love and support they have received. Thus, they have decided to donate all of their royalties from selling their Japanese ‘Roly-Poly’ album."
T-ara has proved themselves once again as a thoughtful and caring girl group by making efforts to help out the victims of this horrifying disaster. T-ara stated that although their donation may not be a huge contribution, they still hope that it could help out many victims.
Meanwhile, T-ara has enjoyed much success in Japan since last September when their released their debut single "Bo Peep Bo Peep," which grabbed the first spot on the Oricon Daily Music Charts, the first Korean girl group to do so. They have also been gaining a lot of fans through their Japanese singles "Roly-Poly" and "YAYAYA".
