As previously reported, KARA's Kang Jiyoung has been cast for the upcoming Korean-Japanese drama "Rainbow Rose".
On March 5th, it was reported that the date of the first broadcast for the drama was finally decided. According to reports, "Rainbow Rose" will start its broadcast on April 16th through TVTOKYO and Public Korean.
"Rainbow Rose" is directed by Kim Suryong, who previously worked on SBS "Lie to Me". The drama brings students from different cultural backgrounds into the same boarding house, where they learn about friendship and love. Jiyoung will be playing the role of Yuri, a lively student majoring in fashion.
