Girl group T-ara has signed a new contract to become the newest spokesmodels for ‘GiBalHan Chicken‘.
According to T-ara’s agency on February 6th, the girls received an offer with a bigger guarantee than any other idol star endorsing chicken before them, and signed a year-long contract. The girls were guaranteed a minimum of $892,000 and will be receiving royalties on top of that.
GiBalHan Chicken explained their choice of models explaining, “We chose T-ara to be our newest models, as they have developed a wide age range of fans with their songs “Roly Poly“, “Cry Cry“, “Lovey-Dovey“, and more.”
T-ara will be filming fresh new CFs that breaks free from GiBalHan Chicken’s original ‘family-friendly’ image, and has plans to put on various events in the future which include an autograph signing event at an ‘GiBalHan Chicken’ affiliate store.
The corporation has also kicked off new research to develop products that express each of the seven members’ unique styles to break through into the Hallyu market.
In related news, the girls are getting ready to release their third Japanese single “Roly Poly” on the 29th, and will be heading to Japan on the 16th to begin their Japanese promotions.
