Lee Minho receives offer to star in drama series ‘Loyalty’ with actress Kim Hee Sun

Actor Lee Minho could be starring in a new drama series soon.
A representative from Lee Minho’s agency Starhaus Entertainment remarked on February 23rd, “We have received an offer to star in the drama series ‘Loyalty‘ and are currently reviewing the script, however, we have not made a final decision.”
“‘Loyalty’ is just one of the projects we have received offers for, and we will be able to greet you through a new series soon,” the representative continued.
Ahead of their official response, a media outlet reported that Lee Minho had already been cast as the male lead in ‘Loyalty’, and would be acting alongside veteran actress Kim Hee Sun.
‘Loyalty’ will be a fantasy-historical fusion drama that tells the stories of the Goryeo Dynasty. The project is garnering high interest, as it is a collaboration between PD Kim Jong Hak and writer Song Jina who delivered the classic hit, ‘Hourglass‘.
Actress Kim Hee Sun was confirmed for the drama early on, and the staff members are working hard to secure a male lead. Other candidates for the role are Phillip LeeChoi MinsooLee Min Young, and more.
SBS has plans to air the first episode in August of this year.
