KARA chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Favourite Stars


KARA, who made huge melodious waves in Japan last year, has added yet another feat to its list as they chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Favorite Stars.

On January 3rd broadcast of Japan's Nippon TV "Star Draft", KARA appeared on the top 92nd of the list of Japan’s favorite stars, making them the only Korean idol group to make the list.

The group proved their incredible popularity and became the representative hallyu girl group in Japan. After writing history with all of their chart-topping singles, KARA also claimed its fame through its "sexy butt dance".

During the broadcast, KARA was introduced by saying, "All of their singles have made it to the top five on the Oricon Charts", while showing the group's music video of "Mister".

Meanwhile, KARA recently made their appearance on 62nd NHK Red & White Battle which score 38.4% viewership ratings.
