United Cube in Brazil a big success


Cube Entertainment successfully brought the very first Hallyu concert in South America through "United Cube in Brazil" concert.

Joining hands with CJ E&M, Cube Entertainment artists including B2ST, 4minute and G.Na shook off the Espaco das Americas, Sao Paolo in Brazil on December 13th. The 2 1/2 hour long concert has gathered over 5,000 crowd who enjoyed their night full of high level performances.

4minute opened up the show with their hit track "Muzik" arousing an explosive fanchants. G.NA performed personally picked songs including Rihanna's "Take a Vow" and "Rude Boy". B2ST put up a passionate performance of "Shock", "Soom", "Rainy Days" and "Fiction".

Loyal fans gave off their warm and enthusiastic cheers despite of exhaustion for lining up the whole day. They started lining up in front of the concert venue at 7AM even though the concert did not start until later in the evening. The line stretched on for 1.2 km and police had to help organize the scene for people had crowded the roads nearby the venue. Brazil’s largest main channels, daily papers, magazines and online media outlets also rushed to cover the press conference which was held before the concert.

An official from CJ E&M’s M-Live stated, "Although it was a short press conference that lasted about an hour and a half, we had a hard time because there were so many fans all over and press members who wanted individual interviews.

Upon becoming the first Korean singers to take official steps into South America and witnessing the overwhelming response of the fans, 4minute's HyunA stated, "I was surprised that people from the opposite side of the globe loved our music and performances. I’m happy that I could show K-pop to such country of passion for the first time, and take with me the good energy I’ve received."

B2ST's Yoon Doo Joon added, "It was amazing and great to see for myself global fans in Brazil after seeing many in Britain. Seeing fans cheer for us in Korean makes us feel proud and responsible as Koreans."

Meanwhile, Globo TV, one of Brazil’s large main channels, has already scheduled a Cube concert special for its nationally popular program Fantastico.
