Hyun Ah and Jang Hyun seung : "We Will Become Troublemakers in Music Industry"

Hyun Ah and Jang Hyun Seung said, "We just wanted to present a performance on the stage as real troublemakers". Hyun Ah of the group 4Minute and Jang Hyun Seung of the group Beast formed a mixed duo group "Trouble Maker", and they showcased a "kiss performance" at the "2011 M.net Asian Music Awards (MAMA)" in Singapore, which has raised a huge controversy.

They explained at the press conference held in Yeouido on December 2, "The performance at "Mama" was supposed to reflect our group name, which is 'Trouble Maker'. We will try to become real troublemakers in the music industry (laugh)". The name of the group was created by the idea from Yong Joon Hyung of Beast, and they released the mini album entitled "Trouble Maker" on December 1. The album includes four songs including the title song, which is a dance song mixed with Jang Hyun Seung's singing and Hyun Ah's rapping, and the ballad song entitled "The Words I Don't Want to Hear". The title song "Trouble Maker" has ranked first or second on various music charts. They explained why they had decided to form a duo group by saying, "We both have a similar personality with a highly competitive spirit and we thought that we would create a synergy effect on the stage. We have many similarities. We both love soul music such as hip hop and R&B, and we both have similar passions towards dancing". Hyun Aj added, "We completely become a different person when we come up to the stage. We will dance to form a harmony on the stage and we will wear costumes that look like a couple, so our appearances will be totally different from the appearances that we had shown in our original groups".

The duo made their first appearance in the SBS music program "The Music Trend" on December 4, and they will appear in the concert entitled "United Cube" that will be held at the O2 Brixton Academy in London on December 5 and at the Espaco das Americas in Saint Paulo, Brazil on December 13. Jang Hyun Seung said, "I have never imagined that I would perform in South America. It is very amazing that fans in Argentina are coming to our concert and people in South America are leaving messages on our YouTube and Twitter account. They also send us letters written in the Korean language". Hyun Ah agreed, "It was a very touching moment when I received letters from our fans overseas. I will be able to realize our fans' love after I arrive there". The representative of Cube Entertainment, Hong Seung Sung, said, "K-Pop has not yet been very popular in South America, and only 60 percent of the tickets has been sold up to now. I think that it has significant meaning about showcasing a good performance rather than making a successful outcome at the concert".
